Waluigi’s been around for 24 YEARS and still doesn’t have his own game. So, I’ve designed levels, created characters, and developed a plot, doing Nintendo’s job for them. In order to walk you through how I made this, we need to ask ourselves…

I love the idea of putting Waluigi in other stereotypical Nintendo genres and just sidestepping challenges by doing the obvious.
One thing. The final level should have all of Wario's branding be vandalized by the enemies. Like having the various wario noses and garlic be covered by spray paint, masks, ETC.

Also something that makes me think, is that what if, instead of Ninjas, it's the return of The Black Sugar Gang.
It makes a ton of sense why they would capture Wario and make a mess in on his house (Again), as Syrup is hungry for revenge and make Wario look stupid.
The catch? Wario is totally unaware of whats happening, as he's being sleeping for the entire game lmfao

This is such a perfect mockup. Having a game that throws you into multiple different gameplay styles throughout makes so much sense for a character as chaotic and wacky as Waluigi.

Going from untraditional platformer to reverse horror game is a huge flex I didnt see coming honesty.

I don't know if it was intended but I like how the fan has pretty much the opposite function of the poltergust thus kinda pointing out how waluigi is the evil counterpart of luigi

Having Waluigi make those upsidedown Ls with his body is so cool. Its a lot like how olympic polevaulters bend themselves over the bar.
The idea of Waluigi being fearless to contrast Luigi is super interesting. At first it feels a bit weird until you realize they've done so little with him that there's plenty of room for that to be totally plausible. I would love for nintendo do make this a character trait in a real game
Honestly the biggest contrast between the two is Waluigi wants to be a BAMF but is a buffoon, while everyone but his friends think Luigi is a buffoon instead of the BAMF he truly is.

Like waluigi just gets bodied and dies and the next scene shows his funeral with wario screaming in pain in the background. The quick time event is literally frame perfect and if you miss it your save starts over.

The concept is amazing, and could see this work as just a sort of theft game where we go around different spots to collect certain items, think of it this way, wario is kidnapped by a shadow person thing, and then contacts waluigi to release his brother for a price, so he goes from place to place doing different things to sneak around and survive as mentioned in the video, and then at the end waluigi steals everything but that villian uses all these items to try and destroy the world, so waluigi goes to stop him testing everything that the game has to offer for the finale, and I could see waluigi being celebrated at the end but he's not really having so he makes a comedic outing by annoying everyone by stealing something valuable from everyone
3:48 they're never brothers just have very brotherly affection. Canonically, Waluigi is just some dude that Wario met who wanted to be a part of the mario/bowser gang and they became really close. Some theories drifted around that they're cousins or that Waluigi is possibly related to Mario and Luigi, but as far as we know, he's just a guy who wants to prove that he's worth something to everyone. Basically an underdog. In Mario Odyssey it's even revealed that the upside down L on his cap is a sticker that is starting to peel off, referencing the fact that he sees the Mario Bros and Wario as sort of role models and wants to be like them. Hes basically Nintendo's Wreck-It-Ralph.
Nintendo didn't make waluigi and wario has no brother.

tbf this video gets a lot wrong about Waluigi and just the Mario franchise in general.
I think a Waluigi stealth game would go INSANELY hard. I think putting waluigi in an open-area to sneak in (like Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes) but with waluigis cartoonish antics would make for an incredibly fun game

Shout out to Psycho Waluigi, the first Waluigi fan game.
The heist gameplay for Waluigi seems fitting since both Wario and Waluigi have some kind of robber dynamics.
The gameplay mockup is like mash of both _Bonanza Bros._ and _Hitman_ in terms of stealth, but planting a bomb to escape is like the "Hurry Up" sequence from _Wario Land 4._
Waluigi should definitely have his own game. Luigi should also have his own games other than the mansion series
The mansion series is rlly good so i don’t think we need more for luigi. Wario already has 2 separate series to himself.

Honestly, if Nintendo for some reason came to me about a Waluigi game, I would make it similar to Wario Ware. Give the dude a new aesthetic (but his logo remains) and make the game something about sports. Just feels right for the spin-off star himself.

I like to imagine Wario basically got in trouble with the Ninji Yakuza. Wario was _absolutely_ in the wrong and the trouble was deserved, maybe he owes them money. But it's not like Waluigi is gonna be the guy to say "What? Wario, please. Pay back your debt, it's only right." lol
Having Waluigi be Nintendo's flagship Stealth Guy (tm) makes sense. Feels like it'd suit him.
Nintendo maybe wouldn't do the uh, terrorism? But aside from that. Having him also be a 4th wall-breaker, another niche nintendo rarely fills (maybe aside from Wario's gamedev endevours), is also really fun. I think Waluigi quite suits both of those.
Of course, actually making the game would need a lot of development and iteration and testing (like any game), but I like the concepts! Nice video!
I love it, Waluigi is perfect for going against the proper way of completing your goals. I like the idea that if there were to be more levels or anything else, that each one should be a mockery of a classic Mario game like how he graffitied Mario and Luigi’s face in the tennis game. Since the classic Wario Land series has Wario complete the level then have a few minutes to get back, what if the final area has you on a time limit to begin with, to quietly get there. Then the epilogue being no time limit, just trashing the stage on your way out now that stealth is no longer necessary. Like being able to throw bomb-ombs and making a wreck.

I'd always though a "Wario Brothers" game with Wario and Waluigi as the player characters would have been neat.
I think this idea is genuinely cool and, with maybe a few much less violent changes, maybe Nintendo could even actually make this game!

This is actually a really good concept. If Nintendo made a game like this I would buy it ASAP. The only thing I would change is : I would make it more of a GTA like free roam game (or at least similar to Mario Odissey) where you cause problems instead of fixing them. After completing a quest you get power moons like in Mario Odissey but like an "evil version". You could still unlock new items or power ups doing certain missions or after getting a certain amount of evil power moons. That would be so awesome.
I got the perfect Waluigi game name "Waluigi's shattered Universe", and I feel like Waluigi should face off against a demon/god, also I like your hair

That's pretty dope for a concept. I could definitely play something like this. Story is obviously too simple but perfect to showcase your idea and great starting off points. I like this idea of him breaking the tropes but having to solve different problems because of it. He could have gadgets that help him break into places, like one that tries to mimic Marios ability to travel through pipes but it just stretches him out and we see it doesn't look nearly as simple or painless as when mario does it. Maybe it causes him to yell in pain if he uses it too long- imagine a player gettin lost in the plumbing trying to solve a puzzle.
As far as saving Wario goes, it would be a nice call back if Wario's always in another location. But the idea that WaLuigi would have a spy thriller ninja game but with a comical Nintendo atmostphere is great. We could even set him up a Private Detective. I mean there's just a lot of possibilty. Good work with this dude.
7:29 you can start by having waluigi by just walking around it, but then have the toads surrounded the floor of the course forcing him to platform

One time I was having a conversation with the little ai bots on instagram about Nintendo games and we were talking about spin offs and it brought up the idea of Waluigi being a detective! I don’t hate that idea either.

I wouldve made a "goat simulator" or "grand theft auto" style for waluigi, I feel like he is the type of guy to just go around destroying stuff for no reason except why not
Here’s another concept with some assistance from wario, waluigi sneaks into castles and fortresses and such across the Mario world like mushroom kingdom, sarasaland empire dk island, bowser’s domain, the flower kingdom, isle delfino, any and all Mario odyssey kingdoms, you name it and stealing a load of cash or a treasure and using the money to run a business. Additionally the classic power ups are single use items that you find and use when you need it and in specific levels like Luigi’s mansion or isle delfino using knockoffs like: a leaf blower or just a hose

I love this concept, but the story seems rather short.
So here’s an idea: Pull a “Your princess is in another castle” and have Wario be held captive in multiple fortresses, only to be whisked away each time at the last second and moved to another ninja hideout, with Waluigi gaining new abilities each time.
I also think it’d be fun to lean more into the heist aspect by having each level filled with money and treasure to collect and/or steal.
If you collect all treasure in the game, maybe give the player a golden tennis racquet or something.
The editing quality on this video is top notch.

Waluigi should have a pinball game because, well, Mario Kart. And also the fact that it kind of would make perfect sense.

Maybe Nintendo could do the game half Waluigi and half Wario or just give them a game each.
I like the idea that Walugi wouldn't play by any of the rules and will find creative ways around problems that Luigi would solve just by jumping on stuff and throwing projectiles.
Like I could imagine him coming to a moving platform above spikes and instead of trying to jump on the moving platform he grabs a board and lays it across the spikes while laughing his head off.
I could imagine Waluigi solving things the way the contestants do in the UK celebrity game show "Taskmaster" where they are given a task and they often try to think of a lateral way of completing the task.
waluigi being a thief is really fit to his character than just side character to the mario series
Idea: There could be diffrent levels and each of these areas are a diffrent "world". The levels could be varied from stealth missions to chases, and even brawls! He could travel back and fourth between areas with his racket, shoes, and other items he finds to fight challange levels. Maybe beating all of them could see Waluigi and Wario teaming up to take out the shyguys for good, not comtempt with letting them get away, and blowing up their base.
I think Wario and Waluigi aren't really Brothers, but they're definitely Bros!
The 4th wall breaks and ever changing gameplay actually really remind me of Conker’s Bad Fur Day, which kinda fits perfectly for Waluigi.
The maps don’t have much detail but this is amazing, waluigi deserves way more love and this game had much blood put into it I can’t tell.
I especially love the stylised donkey kong/ Mario wonder asc stylised level.

Waluigi is my absolute favorite Mario character. As a kid I had a plush of him that I brought everywhere. I can’t wait for the day he finally gets his own game! No matter what it is. I’ll be buying it!

I think a game should start with the news announcing Peach has been kidnapped. Wario and Waluigi jump up and run to their rooms quickly getting dressed. Wario rides off to Wario Ware Inc and Waluigi drives off into the sunset.
I think the game itself should be a Sports RPG.

What if we found a few other Wario themed areas and made it so Wario is moved around?
But in each set of worlds you can get new items and upgrades. Like Waluigi getting wall climbing stuff or even smoke bob-omb?
So each world has 1 Heist for something useful, 1 Mission similar to E. Gadds, and 1 World Boss to try to save Wario only for the troop to move him and the Ninji is the final place.
Perhaps we could flavor a desert into a Western Themed World?
I’m thinking of more items like his kart or a pet piranha plant (this in my opinion would fit waluigi,) could be lead to places like the koopa kingdom or kongo bongo/dk jungle (I don’t remember if that’s the name) as well.

The olympic games Mario Facts actually talks about how Waluigi is not Warios's brother.
There is a pretty fun fangame called Psycho Waluigi. The basic premise is that Waluigi is unconsious and enters a different world where he teams up with a demon and gains psychic powers so they can take over the world together. It’s a platformer where you can grab and throw objects and enemies with your psychic power and also use certain special abilities that they have. Also like the Wario land games you are encouraged to collect lots of treasure to get rich.
Just mod Waluigi into GTA V and you have yourself a Waluigi game

i had a similar idea of a “waluigi game, with a lot of gaming satire” game, but my plot was more of an anthology thing where waluigi pitches different game ideas while in a stuck elevator with shigeru miyamoto. kinda like warioware, but with longer and lankier minigames and somewhat of an actual plot.

Oh, so no rival antagonist as the final boss? You know, Wario had this pirate lady from Wario Land games who's been thwarting him into getting treasures. Maybe she could have hired those Shyguys in exchange of a quick buck?
I had a idea for a game with him to call ''Waluigi Calamity''. Presenting him on the night clubs, city buildings and insane casinos fighting corrupted cops and rough security against a spoiled greedy president. With his special move he can spin his body while his arms spread to slow down his fall like a helicopter. And he also holds a trash can lid and a shoulder bag full with dynamite. The trick is he lights a dynamite under the trash can lid, while standing on the lid to make the explosion boost him up dashing in the air like a high jump.
i like the idea of waluigi being stealthy compared to wario, who rushes through and destroys things in his games

I think this needs a little more. I like the idea of a stealthy gameplay loop and freeing Wario is a fun idea but I feel like the story is too simple. I have some ideas but I don't want to reveal them in case I want to make my own video on the subject. Good animation though!
It would be cool to see him interact with Daisy, or even with the other main characters. Like he has to enlist Luigi’s help for the mansion, or Daisy’s help at some other part
Actually, do like the Concept of Waluigi being morso a Phantom Thief (by that I mean a sneaky guy stealing treasure), Cause in a way it brings more the aspect of Wario and Luigi too, Wario is more treasure Hunter while Luigi is more puzzle oriented gameplay. Considering it can also fits his role on why he is not as much in the limelight as he may prefer to stay in low profile (and could imply something with his relationship with Wario being brothers or partners in crime). Heck in Mario DDR, Waluigi started the story by stealing an artifact.

i think a more canon storyline would be that wario was being held hostage because he was ten million dollars in debt from gambling
the only other thing i can think of that i would add is having wario toss the last shy guy up for waluigi to launch away
