Some crazy dude showed up outside my flat and started trying to knock down my door, shouting like a madman, claiming to be my father (my dad died more than 20 years ago). He was outside my flat for easily 15 minutes, even kicking at the door a couple of times, which made me think he would manage to break in and attack me. I called the police, and they actually told me that they had no officers available and to call again if the man managed to break into my flat. So basically the police have no time to respond to emergencies but they can spend 35 minutes harassing a guy with a camera?
you should have said you have shot through your door and you are not sure if you hit him because it has gone really quiet .....i bet every copper in your area would have turned up within a few minutes
The police are actually trained in ''Word Judo''. They feel they must be in control of the conversation and come out the winner. Their egos often exasperate the situation.

The extra time however did illicit AB’s channel name - after he had that, they left pretty quickly. It seems this could have been achieved much more quickly with stronger rapport building from the officer a La shorter bearded armed officer in AB’s infamous MI5 video

A lot of people seem to think they can get away with all manner of rudeness and offense if they use a polite tone of voice. You can imagine most of them holding a roll of gaffer tape and a length of rope whilst politely inviting you to go for a walk in the woods.
He’s a hero unto himself, and strangely has never met a dirty cop. Never seen a copper break the law or abuse powers. Sleeps soundly thinking he’s a special person rather than a small, petty man.
This was an intense 40 minute question and answer session 😂 this officer didn't stop for a breath between listening to your response and firing another question. Clearly quite intelligent and well trained but still has the stink of "we can do whatever we want to you regardless of what the law says". It's quite clear that his attitude will not change based on this experience.
AB, damnit! You captured the magic yet again! Please don’t stop. If the officer reads this; pls consider your developed bias of dealing with people as IF they are not innocent until proven guilty. @@ToddDouglasFox Well at least one of the two was not impressed, he looked bored. The invisible constable in the back was probably bored too, but we have no evidence for that. YOOOOOO hi ab , a police officer will never take your side against another police officer. the moment you told him how many views you got he was checking every word 3 times in his head :)
That guy was really broken and his logic was flawed. Someone who's that broken shouldn't be an armed officer and should have better mental health support. It's good to be evasive or defensive, he just embarrassed himself over and over and couldn't overcome his ego.
The interaction was frightening, no way should the guy be a police officer let alone armed, he is potentially dangerous, and in my opinion no place for unhinged people in any police force..
Hi A B, this one is difficult because the man who keeps on asking to many questions, because you are not conforming to his expectations he 'thinks' that you are weird, he keeps saying that you are being evasive and that justifies his suspicion then he says that calling him silly is rude. He has obviously got nothing better to do than sit there having an argument with you, after nearly seven minutes he says he will not answer your questions because he does not know who you are, would that not apply equally to you with his questions. It is very hard to believe that he really has nothing better to do, there seems to be some sort of strange compulsion to ask questions, I call it why-ning, he delivers this elegant fantasy about the activities of people planning to attack them he mentions a stabbing incident at another station without any clear evidence that the attacker had been there filming first. He does not know how many times he has to tell you the same thing but still wants you to repeat your reasons for being there ad nauseam. Cheers, Richard.

@tsia He said so because earlier, AB was being a prick, like he always does, by not explaining why he was recording in the first place and for what reason he was gonna use that video. Policeman would have been justified to be suspicious of an offense under S.58A Terrorism Act, and would have been entitled to a S.43 detain and search as a result. He obviously didn't do it, and finally AB says its for a youtube channel. That's all he needed to say. No big drama, these people just love to wind up coppers for no reason. All the same, thinking its cool to hate on police.
@tsia Me? A hater? It's you lot trying desperately for an excuse to hate the police. And I am just being realistic, not hating. AB (and all "auditors") deliberately act in a way to confuse and wind up the police to trigger some form of reaction. @@pritesh2293 I can see why you'd think he was being a prick, but surely the point of these videos is him not answering any questions he chooses not to? Thus dispelling the mythical powers of the police which they think they can use to question, detain and harass anyone they feel like.

Where is AB's letter of apology for your, let's call it 'mistake'? Why do cops assume they know the law? This is a fantastic example of why we need auditors.
The 'officer's' passive-aggressiveness throughout the whole interaction, was a way of making AB feel incredibly uncomfortable, whilst AB was performing a lawful act in public. He did good to stand his ground .
This police officer thought he was being a lot more reasonable than he actually was. They're definitely going to clamp down on the drone laws in the coming years. Just like they are making a concerted attempt to curb free speech on the internet as well as in public or private.

We have 2 types of officers today, those that see themselves as part of the public but have been given the duty to help and serve the public's needs. But then we have the type that see themselves as a part of the police force and are no longer a member of public, to those officers, it's ok we dont want to be associated with you and i honestly see those types as threats to the public, and to the ones that respect their roles and the public, the officers that don't are also a threat to you aswell.

full marks,. for showing this one. I would call it a stalemate. The officer got all the information he wanted with no threats, he remained calm and laid back at all times. But this is what we should expect of our armed police. Imagine the results if every pig were armed.
To a hammer, everything looks like a nail. To a police officer, everyone looks like a suspect. That's the bottom line. This cop reveals that type of thinking several times in this video. They suspect EVERYONE. And when you don't comply or play 40 questions with them, they see that as being 'non' complaint, which triggers their suspicion even more! It's who they are, and it is ingrained so deeply into their thought process that they can't help themselves but to think that way. They are used to being the ones ASKING the questions, not the ones BEING questioned. Without evidence or 'grounds' as you put it, they are helpless to act and they can't stand it. So, they will threaten you in some other form! They can not stand a Citizen being noncompliant (even when you are completely legal in what you are doing)! And it chaps their asses.

While their suspiscion may be somewhat understandable, an interesting stat to remember when an officer is explaining how dangerous you could be to them is that after an interaction like this between a member of the public and a police officer, the member of the public is over 200 times more likely to die following that interaction than the officer is. The fact is, while their job may carry danger, they are waaayy more dangerous to us than we are to them.

You should of told them he had a camera, they'd of been there in minutes lol
Call back if he breaks in? That’s a joke. May well be too late to do anything at that point. I’d be livid if I was told that.

I think this officer was way smarter than most are giving him credit for. He got exactly what he wanted out of AB. After the YouTubing was admitted he should have driven off, he really wanted to talk AB around to his thinking so carried on for an extra 15 minutes!!

@@ToddDouglasFox Well at least one of the two was not impressed, he looked bored. The invisible constable in the back was probably bored too, but we have no evidence for that. That copper has definitely been taking some form of medicine
That guy was really broken and his logic was flawed. Someone who's that broken shouldn't be an armed officer and should have better mental health support. It's good to be evasive or defensive, he just embarrassed himself over and over and couldn't overcome his ego.
Yes. The usual confusion (deliberate confusion) between desire for privacy and suspicious behaviour.
This guy is the embodiment of them vs us mentality.
The interaction was frightening, no way should the guy be a police officer let alone armed, he is potentially dangerous, and in my opinion no place for unhinged people in any police force..
This guy looked and sounded like James O'Brien, who also frames things in a peculiar way to make his argument.
This guy did well
Hi A B, this one is difficult because the man who keeps on asking to many questions, because you are not conforming to his expectations he 'thinks' that you are weird, he keeps saying that you are being evasive and that justifies his suspicion then he says that calling him silly is rude.

The mental gymnastics these officers do to keep up with their own biast rationalisation of the situation is astounding.
He didn't say he could arrest him? He said he would be detained.
He was an awkward guy, someone who doesn’t think they are wrong! Also someone that treats us (public) different to them (police) his whole demeanour was arrogant. He thought he was better than you and tried to belittle you. Like what you were saying he was wanting to roll his eyes at you! Also he assumes that it would be good for you video to show the police swearing! No officer it wouldn’t be good but AB will expose officers like that for the world and your superiors and colleagues to see to make change to your approach surly that’s a positive thing. AB is a league of auditors unlike others and as you can see he’s near 200k subs! 😊
Nice interaction with the police officer.. no escalation, remained calm.. well done.
There are no powers prohibiting the taking of photographs film or digital images in a public place . Therefore members of the public and press should not be prevented from doing so .
We must acknowledge that citizen journalism is a feature of modern life and police officers are filmed and photographed more than ever .
Unnecessarily restricting photography, wether for the casual tourist or Professional is unacceptable and undermines public confidence in the police service .
Once an image has been recorded , the police have no power to delete or confiscate it without a court order.
All forces guidance letter 26aug 2010 . Andrew trotter chief constable chair of a ACPO communication advisory group.
Coronavirus Act is still in force which means the police can seize anything and anyone without a court order. This will be made permanent before the emergency powers finally elapse.
The Lies are just queueing up behind their Teeth. Regards from the Midi Pyrénées to you AB and all fellow Subscribers 🥂
