Trust me I stupidly let myself go through something similar. However in my situation I refused to take her back because there just wasn’t anymore spark. I treated her well but over time I started to see just how one side my effort was. Like I said I stupidly let myself endure it until one time I chose to not communicate with her. It took her nearly a week just ask why I haven’t called or text her. When I heard that, I finally snapped out of it and chose to end it.

This was really good. Serina finally, for the most part, kicked her selfish habit and finally became the proper wife for Yuto. All it took was her sister's plan of Yuto leaving and her being alone to make her realize just how much Yuto meant to her.
Once shes over the shock of him temporarily leaving, she will be back to her old ways. That kind of behaviour and personality doesent disappear over night

I'm not so sure if I'd go back to Serina after what she did. Her selfishness was bad enough. However, she treated him like a slave and never did anything to help him. To top it off, she threatened divorce to coerce him to obey. That was unforgiveable. Threatening divorce for serious infractions is one thing. Using it to manipulate and control a partner is another thing entirely. When Yuto left Serina, she struggled seriously with the daily chores. She claimed she missed Yuto, but did she really love him, or did she just want her slave back? If I were Yuto, I would lay it out to her. I'm coming back, but it's not going to be business as usual. I'm you're husband. Not you're servant. We'll split the chores and other tasks. Try you're old stunts again, and I'll leave you for good. Yuto is a nice guy, but perhaps too nice for his own good. He needs to have self-respect and not be used as a doormat. Hopefully Serina learned her lesson.

It actually sounds quite similar to those Apple Text stories that I've been seeing on RUclips lately. Selfish spouse treats the other spouse like a slave, threatens divorce if they don't get their way, and then are shocked when the other spouse finally has enough and signs the divorce papers that were left on the table and hands them in, since the selfish spouse only threatened divorce as a scare tactic to manipulate the other spouse.
However, this video featured no divorce, and had the couple reconcile their differences (to a degree). Serina was at least able to be willing to learn how to cook and clean at the end of it, and she also realized just how poorly she had been treating Yuto and regrets it. As long as she makes a conscious effort to improve herself and not be as selfish anymore, she and Yuto will spend many happy years together.
Glad they at least showed what she went through during and afterwards, otherwise it woulda been a no from me. To threaten a divorce at every turn would be so heartbreaking. It's nice to see he could handle her selfishness, but it's nicer to see him get sick of it. Mixed thoughts on these types of scenarios, but since it's manga logic it's fine (sorta... maybe...). Ahh bad memories baaad baaad memories I was like that from highschool to until I graduate college... I was so scared to be left by the one I love. Then we had a beautiful girl I thought she would mellow down and be nice to me I was stupid. She left when it was her birthday and also our anniversary while me and my daughter are waiting for her. Then her father called me and I was panicking she was still not home so I thought it was some accident.
He told me that he is extremely sorry very ashamed I admit that cracked my world up when she came back after 2 months I already prepared everything with both of our parents help I prepared the new house near my work and fixed my plans for my daughter.
Those 2 months are hell for me doubting myself if I did something wrong but I steeled my resolve and when she made the same comment of let's have a divorce she thought I would still cling to her I just smiled brought out the signed paper of me leaving the house for her and the signed divorce paper with my seal and her parents approval I left my necklace (her first gift to me along with my wedding ring on the table). And I stood up and got my little angel and we drove off. 2 years later she is still trying to find me my in laws said that she changed for the better but I have my doubts my little daughter is now attached to her new step sister(I adopted her poor girl) and I ain't changing it for anything.
You did the smart thing. My dad always told me trust is key to everything in a relationship if someone does something to make the foundation of a relationship unsteady. It won't be the same again no matter how you try to keep it balanced. Once you lose that bond of commitment you can't always get it fully back there will always be some form of doubt. What shogetsu said. There will ALWAYS be complications and rough times. What makes a strong relationship is to get through them together and help eachother become better. She needed a little kick in the ass to realize what was up. They will work through it together. Getting up and running away doesn't solve anything at all, talking and proper communication as adults does. It can be hard, but things can change for the better if you actually put in the work and marriage takes work. That level of commitment is not easy.

There are people who has that problem but this one is workable compared to others like gold diggers and cheaters. Even I can admit to being an indifferent person but if a relationship has no flaws and it's perfect, then I can't really imagine how it will be like I think something is wrong about it but everyone has flaws both minor or major and it is important to acknowledge that to both yourself and the person that you love and change your ways but not yourself to be able to sustain a relationship. I really like this video. Serina was definitely wrong, but good on Yuto to make her realize exactly how much she truly cared about him. When we have someone who does everything for us and they’re gone suddenly, we’re unable to even take care of ourselves. You never truly appreciate what you have until you lose it.

This is kinda sensitive thing that I could say but then again idc about anyone's opinions. She really realised her mistakes and even I used to be like her to my parents and it took me idk sometime to be changed. I almost lost my parents due to the pandemic and my parents spoiled me a lot tbh. I didn't know what to do to begin with and I would've cried all the time but my parents are still alive even today and now I actually at times do my chores unless I actually have other work to do. This is not easy to begin with anyway but I am glad that she changed after that and she is more responsible than before. The thing is that it's okay to accept that flaw, acknowledge their faults and encourage them to change and I did that to everyone of my friends who did something silly which could've escalated into something big but if they don't listen then at times you might make drastic measures and if they don't try to change, then don't be with them. There are many things that I would forgive but only few of them I wouldn't mind like being childish but other things, I would never accept that even if I forgive them like gold diggers and cheaters. I just said what was in my mind and I wouldn't give a damn about it if any of you try to trash talk me otherwise.
