The story doesn't give too much context, but it seems like the former FIL might have actually been a good guy who didn't know about his daughter abusing her husband. She herself says at the beginning that her dad appreciates the work he does for the company, and we see the aftermath of what happens after he leaves. The FIL likely recognized his talent since long ago and that's why he agreed to take on his debt and arranged the marriage between him and his daughter. He likely hoped to use his talents to grow the company and eventually groom him to take it over once he retired. When he initially left Masami, it showed that the FIL kept calling his phone. He ignored his calls, assuming he was going to get yelled at for leaving Masami and quitting the company. However, I think the FIL was genuinely shocked by Yuto's sudden departure and knew that things were about to quickly go downhill at the company if he didn't come back. If only he had kept tabs on his daughter, he could have avoided this whole mess

Plot Twist:
After the incident, Masami has gotten scolded from her father, got kicked out of the house for her irresponsible behavior, and finally disowned for power harassment. Because of selling Yuto games, she did NOT have the authorization to go and sell someone else's personal belongings. She was later found dead when committing suicide and everyone has forgotten her, especially her father.

I could imagine Yuto's collection being worth thousands, so what Masami did was extremely vindictive and if that was all that he had to stay sane in a hell relationship, I'm not surprised he left, though if I was in his shoes, I would force her to either buy them back or bill her for the full current value of what she effectively stole from him!
Yuto made the right choice divorcing his ex-wife Masami and working for Hikari who actually appreciates his hard work and would never sell his precious video games and it's wonderful that they ended up a couple too.🥰

Fate of Masami:
After her father's company went bankrupt, her father found out what she has done and the reason why she and Yuto got divorced, her father disowned her. Apparently, someone shows her father the pictures of Masami with another man, it turns out that she's having a affair with another man who's already married and got sued by her lover's wife. Her father was beyond furious and questioned her about this and found out that she sold Yuto's precious games for money which is a crime which made him even more angry causing him to disowned her. When Masami found out that Yuto is already remarried to Hikari, she tries to force Yuto to divorce Hikari to be with her, but Yuto refuses and said to her that he will never get back together with her again who taking advantage of him and sold his stuff without his permission and that's when Hikari told her that she has no chance of get together with him now and tells her to leave before she call the police. Hearing this, she left this place, frustrated. Masami lost everything now, her home, company, husband, lover and money, now she has no one but herself to blame. What do you guys think of Masami's fate?

This is really good. It always bugging me that some story didn’t even have the “after story” which made us wondering what the heck happened to the “bad person” in the story. At least if they didn’t visualize it, just put up some words.

Hikari proceeded to find some way to get Yuto's games back and sued Masami for the cost. They weren't her property (doesn't matter if they were married) so she had no right to do that.
So now with her company in pieces, her love life destroyed, and her wallet basically dry, all she can do is regret everything she did that led to where she is.
But it doesn't matter how hard she cries, she doesn't deserve forgiveness and she's never gonna get it.
This is the best ending, I just wanted Yuto to get his games back.

Masami's fate: Failed to convince Yuto to come back to the company, employees at work who respect Yuto quit one after another. Her father's company rapidly hit rock bottom and eventually went bankrupt, leaving a lot of debt. Masami's father also found out that she was using Yuto for her convenience (from money to work, business, etc.) and (not mentioned) her spoiled behavior. So he disowns her daughter and not long after that, he comes to Yuto's house to apologize for being a bad father and didn't tolerate Masami properly. Yuto and Hikari (now a married couple) accept the apology and ask him if he wants to work at their company. Since he had cut ties with his daughter but still swindling in debt, he gladly accepts the offer. From here, Hikari's company slowly grows and already has contract with big clients. Not long after, the newlyweds welcome a new baby to the world. Happiness is thriving.
As for Masami, it seems like she's a person who doesn't know how to taste a defeat, starts to hunt for men to try to frown Yuto one day, but because of her behavior, her effort to find a partner for everything-ATM was all for nothing. Now she is homeless, had no money or no one to rely on... It's not too late for her to reflect herself for what she had done.

Yuto did only too well to divorce Masami not only because she sold all his video games but also because of her awful attitude. Luckily he met Hikari that offered him immediately a job and was very efficient. Because of Masami stupidity her father's company went bankrupt but it is non of his concern. Now he has a lovely CEO to fall in love together ❤️ 💐🥀🌹🌺

She went to jail and I evicted her, waited 30 days after sending an invoice charging her storage on her belongings and getting no reply. Its funny. I just sold off some of my collection and its very coincidental that a main thing in this story was the MC's retro game collection got sold. In my case i'm slowly going towards emulation and digital. I was a big believer in physical but now i'm slowly moving towards emulation since its free and takes up less space.
