At last, someone who explains in simple language and clearly shows which keys he is referring to makes this the ideal learner tutorial, So many rush through with hands covering the keyboard.

This was an AMAZINGLY helpful video. Our memory works loads better when we group things, and I was always looking for a way to group these annoying piano chords in some way to make learning them easier. So glad I stumbled upon your channel, BEST discovery!

Oh my god, thank you so much! I’ve been playing the piano for a few years and really need to dig into music theory, not only in order to learn how to play chords and improvise a bit, but also to understand what I play in classical music... Taking it at my own pace with your videos is going to help me a lot, I believe!

I can't believe I am bumping on this now! This is awesome. It has fired up my passion to learn again. I have been having so much trouble with Chords not knowing how simple it is. You really simplify this. Thank you so much. I will check your web. I can't believe this. In 30 min I learnt what I have been trying to learn for 15 years. My piano teacher always thought I was dumb because I ask too many questions. Here I am just getting it like water. My oh my I waisted 15years for nothing.

😂 this series of videos is one of the best out there and severly underviewed, you just get into actually showing chords and real info rather than other guys just vopying wikipedia and throwing it together,
even though its been a year you should still be proud😆

Thank you so much! This helped me a lot. Like you as well I taught my self piano by ear and would right down the letter to play, but when I was learning new songs I would get frustrated having to use multiple fingers at once (now I know are chords). Then I found you channel today and I watched all of these learner videos and I understand the chords and the pattern!!! 🤨😄 thank a lot for the info

This was very helpful. I usually kinda count. 3 untouched keys and then 2 untouched keys are major C the leave 3 keys untouched...the next is E then leave 2 keys untouched. I liked watching this and I learned something. I play by ear most of the time, at least I try to. Thank You!

Thank you for this video. I came from playing guitar where it is enough to know 5-7 chord shapes for each of most usable chords - maj7, 7, m7 and so on and you only need to change your hand position up or down the neck by semitone and you get the same chord type but starting from another note. So when i started learning the piano my first thought was to find similar information about chord shapes and ive found your video. But it its only the triads :( not even seventh chords.. Looks like a lot of work is required in comparison to guitar to learn and play seventh chords in real time without thinking where to put your hands.
