JUST installed this 15 minutes ago. Super satisfied with how it turned out. One thing to note, I highly recommend anyone planning on removing the panel in the back look up a video on how to remove the light first and then the panel. They mentioned one of their clips broke, I unfortunately had BOTH of mine break so now i have it taped in as best as i could. Not sure why the engineers decided to make the light free standing as opposed to being fixed to the panel, but it is so be careful when removing it.
I finally got my panel installed today. Had a slight delay because I fell at KOA Pigeon Forge (they are NOT ADA compliant, by the way) and crushed my rib cage at Jeep Invasion last August. Throw in three broken legs into the mix ... Now, I am ready to install my CB & switch panel and hit the trails. Better prepared. BOTTOM LINE MY FAVORITE INSTALL OF MY 60+ YEARS OF JEEPING.
Installed rather seamlessly. Only one trip to hardware store to get titanium drill bits for metal, my old ones were not up to the task. Video was spot-on for my Gladiator, no surprises or issues. Was a bit over an hour without moving quickly and referring back to video, and moving the Jeep outside where I had head room and brighter light - probably much quicker for most mechanical folks. Glad this video was posted.
I thought I was cool with a molle cargo divider on my JK but all this molle for the Gladiator is something else. The fun part is finding all the cool stuff to mount to it.
Did you guys had a hard time clipping back the back panel? I had a hard time putting it back and the light is is not sitting well..its crocked 🫠 i want to cry and them theres air coming from the front but i also had a different molle panel that had me removed the brackets at the front but i ended up returning that molle and got the one from this video. Maybe i didnt place the front brackets at the correct height?😭😭😭
To install the JCR Overhead MOLLE panel along with a Bestop Sunrider® for Hardtop, a modification will need to be made to the Bestop Rear Clamp (Part #573.01). You will need to trim or sand this plastic rear clamp as shown on the last page of our instruction manual (on the product page)

Probably best to not try to install this after spending all day installing other, more complicated stuff. Yes, it’s a simple install. But not when you’re exhausted and hot. 🥵😂

You don’t need to drill the front ones, just a good all-weather double stick tape and that’s all you need

Well, at least I know what's going to decapitate me when I rollover.
Hey JCR, wonder if it fits with the Bestop Sunrider?
Was it just me or was 5/16 the final drill bit size? 3/8 doesn’t even fit through the cut hole in the panel
The only difference I found with my 2020 jt was the drill bit size was 5/16 not 3/8th. Other than that quick 20 minute install live it!
Can the JCR Overhead Molle Panel support a CB radio device? Great easy install video. Keep the Jeep Jl videos coming.
Yes, it can! Thank you!
Why use the freedom panel bolts on the front, and not on the back? It would avoid to drill holes in the Jeep.
