Nice video! Cardboard is old school, but great for anything plastic, not scratching your stuff for a start!....all my 35mm slides are in long card holders ....much more efficient than the plastic boxes.
Do the items of rolling stock move backwards and forwards as you tip the box? Is there room for strips of thin foam to lay in the channels together with full size sheets below the layer dividers?
No froward or backward rolling noticed In early tests due to clamping nature of Upper and lower shelves . I would imagine a layer of foam between each layer is an easy fix as with foam in the bottom of each channel , however i think it may be a struggle to fit foam above or below rolling stock wheels and roofs on the sides of each channel. Hope this makes sense
I might do an update in a year or two. I think they should be fine in my circumstances as I plan to store 3 or 4 of the cardboard boxes in a larger plastic box

I ordered a bunch of these from Ebay half an hour ago. Thanks for making this video!
No worries, I saw there was a lack of guides out there so I thout I'd make one

I worry about the longevity of these storage boxes. I realise that they are not particularly expensive, but even so...
