I appreciate the heck out of this video. I just bought a German WW2 era Mauser 98, same issue. Wouldn’t chamber rounds, and had to slap the bolt alot. Looked at this video, then checked my extractor, and yes. Very dull and squared off. 2 minutes with a file, now it chambers smoothly. Thank you!
With a mauser the feed lips are sold milled so it's almost impossible to be a magazine geometry issue. I had lots of experiences with Lee Enfields jamming with the feed lips
