Mazda release its version of Android Auto. Would you please make a comparison so we can justify to pay them ~500 retro.
I bought a 2019 Miata and they told me that the model didn't have Android auto... Just Mazda 6 for 2018????? WTF Mazda? I'm doing the aio this weekend via serial port. I'm on 59.00.546. Wish me luck guys.

Hi. I have the issue in Mazda 3 2018 version that the entertainment button does not work.Nor the volume up or down with the console as well as in the steering unit.

Hi, just checking before going ahead with the change. I have noticed that at the bottom of the Android Screen you have 5 icons while I'm missing the one most to the right. This is before the tweak. Do you know why is that ? will it show after the tweak ?

I have a 2015 Mazda 3 I Sport with the USB ports below the AC controls. Do I need any additional hardware to install this, or is it really as easy as copying files to a USB stick?

I have firmware 70 00 335, what can i do?
To my knowledge my wife's 2016 CX 5 does not have a usb port for a thumb drive. I don't drive the car and haven't noticed one. I do know she has a slot for a SD card, which is for the NAV system. My question is, will I be able to use the SD slot for this tweak? Or do I need to look for a possible usb port(s)?
Have you tried looking in the center console (lidded box between front seats)? Usually there are various ports in there.
When she got back in town after Labor Day, I went out and after moving her stuff out of the way, there they were. Two USB ports and an aux jack. I haven't done the tweak yet, still studying software and the options I may want to inlcude.
I have firmware version number 30.00.300, is it possible to install android auto?
You would need to upgrade your firmware to one of the supported versions, preferably not a version that requires a serial connection. See the supported versions on: mazdatweaks.com/
my version is 59.00.540 is it gonna work with me?
From the website: “ALL FW V55, V56, V58, AND V59 ARE SUPPORTED
v59.00.502+ has taken away the ability to install tweaks.” Hope that helps.
Any version v59.00.502 or higher will require the serial port hack. My Mazda had v59.00.502, so I had to take the dash partially apart to do the hack in order to get AIO to work.
They never even gave me traffic on my nav system, I was so pissed when I found that out.
Same they want $100 for the chip
