A fully loaded fusion which was $20k, probably spent another 20k on tires alone those tires were awful. Brakes on that thing were bad too, had it for 5 yrs had a new problem every month. All the electronics on the inside started having problems before i decided i had enough and traded it for a f150 xlt. The f150 is 2018 and hasnt given me a single issue but its only been a yr. Dont get me wrong though, i loved both of those vehicles. The fusion was great on gas and i loved how if someone was driving like a moron, i could switch lanes and double my speed faster than i could blink. The marquis' issues were just age related, it was an 01 and me and my friends handed it down to each other. Until i bought the f150, the marquis was my favorite vehicle i ever owned, and ive had 6 vehicles.

you do know screens are cheap right? putting controls in screens is probably 1/3 the cost vs switch gear.. so doing that means bigger profits, which is why it's acceptable on a aveo.. but in a MB i'd expect actual buttons..
