The only thing that'll bring is incompetence. Removal of ops is already disheartening to many employees. Leaves and holidays are only for class 3 and 4 employees, class 1 and 2 have to work 24x7, no private entity can function like that without increasing costs. Bureaucracy is not that simple, privatisation can streamline services, however for proper implementation, correct wings of govt needs to be privatized. You seriously think an industry expert earning crore will look for govt job? And you expecf someone who gave their whole life in the govt only to be fired for some misunderstanding?

When I was a kid, less than 10 years old-my father had to get my passport done. I vaguely remember spending more than 3 hrs just waiting outside the passport-office building on a row of steel chairs, facilitated with a sun-protection blue-tin roof. It was indeed a horrible, exhaustive experience. Cut to 2020-21 when I had to get my passport re-updated, I could attend my online lab class while being inside the Passport Seva Kendra, with the entire process taking less than 30 minutes. Privatization has truly been a revolutionary decision, which was very very long-overdue. However, better late than never. Even Aadhar updation in a Post Office took less than one hour. Things have changed, but we have miles to go before we relax.

My grandfather has an account in some gov-affiliated bank (mostly so that he can get his pension there as he is a retired gov employee) and he told me that in most of these banks, they barely do work after 11 am. He is aged and travels alone to the bank from the house, and the banks still make him take 2-3 rounds for simple tasks such as updating the account, withdrawing, etc. Compared that to something like HDFC where he also has an account, he can talk via phone, get assistance, and mostly gets work done in 1-2 days. The issue here is that gov banks are mainly for the underserved and underprivileged, but when they function this badly, it is ironic as they improperly serve the very people they should be serving properly.
i have gone to SBI bank saying i am not getting the message of transactions he told that it is technicale issue i have said that it is from too long time he said yaa it is frome 1.5 years.

you blamed govt officers but not Indian people. Indian people choose their voter on the basis of his caste, religion and often they choose a corrupt leader. How would these leaders improve bureaucracy when they themselves are corrupt.
Also the salary of an entry level ias officer is around 80k and watch his job. It doesn't compensate him.

Being a govt employee, even If I want to resolve a issue/complain of a consumer quickly, multi level of approval is required. So even if a person in the loop of approval is very hard working and with good intention, he cannot resolve it, as someone in the loop will delay it.
Shortage of staff and lack of infrastructure is also a big issue.
Government ne is bar parliament me law bana dena chahiye ki unproductive employee ko 3 months k low performance k baad dismiss kr dena chahiye. Phr dekho kaise na hoge kaam. I work in SBI.
1. I work on a PC of Pentium Processor and 2GB RAM for approx 8 hours, using a software designed in 1997.
2. A customer only comes for him/herself. I deal a guy who is very busy in his time and another guy who is just in banks to enjoy AC and pass time simultaneously.
3. I got burdened with many things that are not part of my job, like cross selling up selling.
4. If I deal with 100 customers, 80 of them are liability to the bank, like passbook update, Mobile number change etc which bank forces me to reduce, but how ? nobody tells.
I know barely anyone from the other side of the counter will understand the problems of this side.
SBI reduced its staff by 25000 in 5 years and increased customers by 10 crore. So who is pushing through it ?
Government employees are neither less efficient not lazy, its the whole system in India including the citizens.
The reason for unclean atmosphere in Govt offices is it's dependence on old records for old references in connection with long pending claims in Courts , several revisions relating to pay fixations and Pension fixations, several applications for issue of old birth certificates, death certificates, School certificates, House title deeds etc for which no limitation act applies . The more money you give, the earlier your certificate will be given. In Govt offices, even after fifty years of retirement, case files are preserved , since no soft copies are acceptable as authentic proof in case of need. People expect that Govt is custodian of their records for ever. To overcome these difficulties and for easy living ,Rules should be very simple and matters should be settled then and there without prolonging for years. Like Private offices, Govt offices should concentrate on fast disposals.

For some reason i have delt with Sbi and a private bank, work in sbi is done faster thn private bank , also complex issue resolution was resolved faster in SBI, although you dont have luxurious office, but then for that go to a hotel.
The amount of people visiting bank would be atleast 10x than a private bank, and still mainting temper as much possible

My Dad served in army for 20 years then he took VRS and joined state revenue department...On his retirement day (with some other officers also) a farewell was organized by the tehsil office. Everyone was saying good things about senior officers and work culture, then it was my dads turn and suddenly his soldier came out😂he went on bashing the the system for 4-5 minutes which they expected from him and made a statement ''fighting terrorist in valley is easier then working in government offices, bcoz in army officers are leaders but here they are boss full of babu attitude, arrogant and mean towards common people and sub ordinates but bootlickers of seniors, politicians. And at last he indirectly targeted the Naib Tahsildar who was present by saying "And we also have few legends who earn in lakhs but are so miser that they even ask free fishes and vegetables from junior officers😂. The motive behind this Comment is to give u the brief idea how corruption is deeply routed in system only citizens who knows law can fight and we desperately need administrative and judicial reforms but i doubt with current political scene its not gonna happen.
My father is transferred to delhi(he is ias) from jaipur. He works so much. He takes rajdhani which drops him at junction which is not the nearest station, it gets 2-3 am as he reaches home. Then he again has to leave on monday early morning. Not every govt employee is kamchor or a babu
Recently i had to update my Address , photo and number on aadhar card. I had to go to their office at literally 6 am to get the token . Then they took a really bad blurry picture of me for the aadhar card. They somehow updated my real name with a wrong spelling in my real aadhar card and the address as well. like what the hell man ,i paid you money to update stuff on my aadhar card and you guys are obviously some people who have studied to get at that post and still manage to mis spell someone's details. Now i have to do it all again .

Our Local Shop Doing online transaction but India Post Office working offline. If you want to deposit fund in SB or open KVB, NSC etc you hve to visit office.
If you visit post office they will not tell you what are the documents required. After completing all documents they ask for cash and told you come tomorrow or evening to collect the NSC or KVB certificate during this time no deposit copy provide by them.
So true it took me 4 years for a Demarkation Work via Tasil Office.

Actually, Chandigarh’s MCC office is like the images shown initially. It is well furnished.
I am a central government employee, there is little to no infrastructure in our office. Hardly there 2-3 computers with internet and govt want us to send everything through e-office. We have around 50% of our sanctioned strength, which is around 50% of the required strength to operate everything smoothly. On top of that pay scale and promotional aspects are horrible here, even though there vacancy for promotion, no one wants to move the file in fear of getting into trouble, specially the bosses are usually nearing their retirement. They don't want to get into trouble. There are lack of funds, we have to wait for for months, even a year to get our official tour expenses reimbursed, due to lack of fund. The bottomline is that Govt. do not have enough money to spend in the infrastructure or improvement of govt sectors... Its like jeysha haai, waisa hi chalne de. If you look at the number of customers are served by Hdfc and Sbi, you will realize how much employee SBI actually needs, alongside proper infrastructure to serve all those customers properly.

Some points i would like to add are :
1. Government gets involved in business because they need money too for disbursement of salary and developmental works. So i think getting involved in business is somewhat okay subjected to proper functioning. Also another purpose of government involved in various public service delivery like banking, transport ,health etc is because if we privatise such areas completely then poor will not be able to afford such services.
2. The dilapidated condition of government infrastructure is because of lack of fund in maintenance and refurbishment. Even if some fund is allocated engineers and other government employees involved in such repair/maintenance work do not perform duty properly. So proper supervision is required.
3. The set up of bureaucracy is such that the politicians are the head of all the decision making. Most of the time they direct to do this or that in their way. Government officers simply facilitate to execute such orders. You can imagine why politicians direct, because they want their voters or closed ones to benefit from such government work. Now when they work the sole purpose of their work is profit beyond notified profit of government. So the quality of work is very poor.
You have covered good points and made a good video on the matter. Sudden change is quite improbable considering the long legacy of such culture. However incremental change is happening as you've discussed in the last part. Above all its upto us who are the citizen of India to change the country. People should not bribe as well. They should seek proper explanation to every thing incase they're denied something.

Government office me infrastructure bara issue hai
My father is also a gov worker... first thing is that there are not enough gov employees because of delay in recruitment and paper leaks...(example like there are almost 10 people in bank for all the customers )... and any new person takes too much time to adjust... we all study in english but at the grass root level these services require hindi speaking and local language speakers... why the heck do we even study english so much even today😐...
And privatisation is a must... because nobody will let a bill of gov worker being fired on poor performance be passed... there is a need of internships in these offices as well... so the new person can learn and then based on his/her skills they should hire permanently... and strict laws to be made for bribery... like in singapore and uae... sidha maut💀 ya koi proper punishment as in indian army... and the most important digitisation and infrastructure needs to change... and if possible toa pura system hi baadal dena chaiye.... it is highly inefficient

There are many points in which he is wrong..
Some of them are...
1. Loss of motivation is mainly due to no incentive and fixed salary increment in colleagues.
2. Be it sarkari or private, all banks are still open on odd saturdays and staff members of both banks goes home at around 7-8 from their branch or even late.
3. Passport officer never comes home, it is the police which comes for verification and if you are aware of your rights, there is no need to pay a single penny.
4. Even the govt employees want their workplaces to be neat and contemporary but due to lack of funds provided by the govt we are stuck with the old equipments.
And many more...
Please rather than ranting about govt employees, atleast take some interviews from some before portraying negative image of the govt job.

Basically he is making ground to prevent public outrage against the incoming privatisation in fresh term.
I thought in the end he will suggest some steps to take steps to improve the efficiency, make work environment good, ways to curb corruption. Whatever good he said - credited all to current government. Once I admired him to be somewhat neutral youtuber, but he is totally towards attaining the status of “Gobar” .
This strategy also exposes the subtle method to pit sadistic and hopeless unemployed youth against the government employees (much like one religion against other) . It’s like we won’t talk about creating employment for youth, we will snatch the employment (security) of already employed to make u happy much like “ unko to tight kr k rkha h tumko to 5kg mil rha h na usi se kaam chlao”.
The sole reason behind people who never or seldom visited government offices despising the government job is seeing the happiness of government employees against their own pitiful and hopeless condition of unemployment or being in stressed private job.

Reservation should be removed from Constitution.
Some departments are overworked and underpaid (shortage of staff and under funded) and some enjoy so much perks for so little efforts / productivity

First government should create a central private agency for checking working of all government bodies like schools office and other differnet. At least 20000 to 50000 people should be in team and in differnet departments to go on offices and check their working routinely every month a state and all government officers should have to compulsory give a re exam in 5 years to be caught whether they are eligible or not like teachers who do not know abc becomes pgt teacher so when re exam in 5 years only good will come and more important people will work and good people will get job

Im also a state govt employee but I never took any kind of bribe, never Harresed anyone, never been a derelict and I know Im not alone... There are honest govt employees trying to bring a change...
it's not true for every government office, specially the municipal offices, I am a private employee but works for the Urban Administration department, the work load on a Sub Engineer is a lot, they need to look after almost every kind of work related to Municipal office (illegal construction, illegal occupation of private or govt land, स्वच्छ भारत, नल जल योजना, Amrut scheme, Building construction, sewage cleaning etc) they are in a lot work pressure

We're faded up with this sarkari office and officers 😢. When My brother go for two Wheeler licence test. The officer say they didn't have link for capturing photo and signature. come again later anyday 😢. That place was 40 km away from our village. And my brother takes a Leave from his duty for this test. His leave journey all gone wasted. And he have to be repeated this things once again. 😢😢
My life story,
Two years back, I updated my Adhaar, Voter, and license. Due to distance it was inconvenience and one mistake due to their human error. They gave me proper care and even warned/advice me, "use MP online and just pay them 20 INR, and you really don't need to come much, all of data and systems are online form based" I see that true to very time i remember.
(I can indeed use online adhaar, voter, and caste certificate but after the first affidavit letter's reference number)
This is indeed where credit is due to central government under BJP and Shri Narendra D. Modi. This is available to whole nation.

I am from himachal, my experience is quite soothing in all these matter, like bank to addhar card everything... One reason can be because it is not a urban area. So I want to say population, lack of transport to rural areas can be serious or major factor on these issues...
