I truly love this channel, I only tend to see these topic in like Chinese web novels and luckily occasionally the translator will go into detail but doing the research in English never tends to show up
This video was super helpful! ❤ I always preferred the left side of my face but never really knew why. I tested the golden ratio grid on my face and it turns out that my left side is pretty well balanced actually whereas the right side of my face doesn't fit as well. Over the years, my eyes and eyebrows were complimented a lot which confused me but now I found out that this region of my face is quite symmetrical and honestly, it's such a confidence boost and really helps with makeup going forward 🥰
i have a shorter middle third ratio and all makeup videos i watched only gave tips on how to make it even shorter, so thank you for showing us how we can elongate it :)
I just measured my face and I happen to have the same distance in all my "thirds" 😵 that's fantastic! I always thought my upper third was too wide for my face, and that it was making me look disproportionate, it's kinda freeing knowing I don't need to worry about that 😊 I can now focus my attention on my eyes' makeup since I have very close set eyes. I love this channel

I’ve always thought I had a baby face, because I have large eyes and look young. So I always go for the cute look. Now that I realized I had actually a longer middle third ratio, what I should actually go for was actually elegant or mature 😂 this helped a lot Edit: I made another picture and now I have a narrow upper third while the last 2 are balanced?? I think I should just measure my face without he camera 😅

THANK YOU DEAR PEACHIEEE, I NEVER REALIZED I HAD A LONG PHILTRUM AND ALWAYS THOUGHT WHY MY MAKEUP NEVER LOOKED AS CUTE AS OTHERS EVEN THOUGH I HAVE QUITE CUTE FEATURESSS!!! TSYMMMM

This was so detailed! Good work! My mom has a very short upper third. She thinks covering that with thick 2 inch bangs is the solution. Been trying to talk her into trying a new style for years.
The problem with the standard is that it’s highly unrealistic. People who have a small features with v shaped face usually have smaller bone space for eyes so their eyes are usually small along with their lips and nose. It’s like their mixing pretty features of each race on a single face and that caused them to not be able to reach the standard unless they go under surgery like 90 percent of the kpop idols.
I measured my face and found that my lower third is about 0.1 inch shorter than the other thirds. You showed in the video the difference between full and gradient lips and I realized that was why my face always looked squat and short when I wore darker lip colors. Your videos are very informative and I feel like I'm learning something about myself when I watch them.
For long lower third I find that it helps to find the midway in between my cheekbone and jawline and put contour right below that point horizontally so it visually shortens my face. Same with blush, it looks better a bit low on my cheek (above the contour)
I have a wider face with shorter chin and no wonder i love gradient lips rather than a full one. But i have trouble with reducing the wide face since I’m just a beginner in makeup😢😢 totally love this!! Would definitely give it a try!
This is really helpful, i found from this ive been putting my blush in a spot that doesnt suit me as well(ive been putting it in the middle of my face, where i need to put it on my cheekbones more) & also got good eyebrow tips bc my eyebrows are pretty low to my eyes

So, I need to add a stronger arch, have more concealing hair styles, don't highlight forehead, to keep upper ratio ideal. I personally like the more classy/mature look, so I'll keep the middle ratio decently lengthy. I'll keep the brows positioned higher (it'll make me look more approachable, and just generally better with my glasses) more focus on upper lids than lower lids. I'll apply the highlighter in a straight line (different from my typical button-nose technique) and place blush in a "C" shape (as usual, I use doujin blush techniques). I'll highlight the bottom of my philtrum so the upper lips are more prominent. I'm not too fond of my lower third (it makes my face look round, but it's too short imo) I'll contour the areas next to the chin so it stands out more, then highlight chin point. I'll use the gradient lip technique, so it reduces my lips volume (?) (odd, but I'll try it out) ill refrain from lengthening it in total, and only lengthen the lower area- but I'd overall like to lengthen it. I find the philtrum techniques odd, so I'm just gonna avoid them, lol. I also have wide set eyes. -bring eyebrows closer together -contour to slim down near brow bone, and soften it. -cover whole lid with neutral eyeshadow, darken outer corner, then add medium shade to inner corner. -line inner corner, small outer corner wing. -side parts will prevent too much focus (males sense, middle parts look really fish like on me) I have low set brows- I'm tired of taking notes, so I'll just leave a timestamp 20:00

2:55 this calculation makes NO sense to me 😭 i measured my face, i divided the length by the width, and my value came out to be 1.35.. i’m sure i have long face, my face is definitely an oval, but according to the video a value under 1.6 means my face is relatively short.. which can’t be correct.. i never thought it was short 💀
Same, mine came 1.3. Firstly , I used to think I have oval face but after watching a lot of peachie videos , I thought maybe I have longer face and now it says I have shorter face💀. I'll go with oval😅 with upper and lower ⅓ as longer than my mid ⅓. And the distance b/w my eyes is lil more than my eye size.

I find the philtrum techniques odd, so I'm just gonna avoid them, lol.

Notes to myself :
Longer middle third :
Brow shape
V Softer arch or straight brows
V Shape the brow front lower
X Higher brow arch : increase the lenght of your brows to the base of your nose
Eye makeup
V Shift the focus of your eye make up towards the lower lid area
V Eye shadows are deepened at the lower lash line area
V Emphasising lower lashes contour
V Adding aygeoshal
V Create the visual illusion of a shorter middle ratio
Blush
V Center of your cheeks
V Balance out the emptiness of this region
Nose contour
X Avoid applying contour in 2 parallel lines at the sides of your nose bridge (all the way towards the nose tips)
X Elongate the width oof your middle third ratio
V Area between the base of your nose and the upper region of your philtrum
V Mimic the natural shadow of your nose tip
V Nose root and the upper region of the nose tip
V Do not apply at the entire nose bridge
Nose highlight
V Nose root and the upper region of the nose tip
V Do not apply at the entire nose bridge
Lips
V Overline or sumdge out the lip product a little at your upper lip
V Fuller upper lips divert the attention to the lower third segment
High set brows :
V Trim the brow hair at the brow front so that your brow will be directed to the downward direction
V Linear shape brows with soft arch
V Darken the color at the lower rim of brows
V Visual weight will be higher at the lower region of the brow
V Pulls the visual focus to the lower level
V Darker shade eyeshadow gives dimension to your bone structure

I see Karina on the thumbnail i click ASAP 😂 ❤ but the video is truly helpful thank u
hey, it would be really useful if you can make a video about skincare
7:36 brow shape
19:57 high set brows
Thank you very much .Now I now while our age is changing , make-up or modification changes .
2:55 this calculation makes NO sense to me 😭 i measured my face, i divided the length by the width, and my value came out to be 1.35.. i’m sure i have long face, my face is definitely an oval, but according to the video a value under 1.6 means my face is relatively short.. which can’t be correct.. i never thought it was short 💀
yes same!! maybe we measured wrong? it is pretty hard to get it right because our faces are not flat
Same, mine came 1.3. Firstly , I used to think I have oval face but after watching a lot of peachie videos , I thought maybe I have longer face and now it says I have shorter face💀. I'll go with oval😅 with upper and lower ⅓ as longer than my mid ⅓. And the distance b/w my eyes is lil more than my eye size.
same! there is no way my face is short omg but its 1.3 when i calculated
this is just for checking back later
Does anyone have a template of the lines? I tried doing it on my own using my phone, but it's not accurate 😅
