Duh, void blade player here since it released. I will point out some other things than can optimize this build or variations: - Attuned leather pants are really great for this build, since absolutely all 25 passives are great. - Scaling a bit more on focus can really pump up your damage and your healing. As it's known, going over 300 in the main stat without reaching 150 in the secondary it's detrimental for scaling. Also, 350 int passive not worth while 150 focus passive can really bump your orb and left tree void caller healing. When you invest in focus, you should also take leeching blade, the last void blade passive. - Sandlion Tarsus are boots that give you keen speed. I personally think that is better than the new perk ones. Void blade really needs a lot of perks on weapon other than weapon perks. If you are running 150 focus, you can also use Silken Litham, which gives you savior. - The maximum damage variant is with azoth conductors, elemental band and deep freeze. Pestilence it's also a good secondary weapon for chasing and antiheal. - The easiest build to get is probably Attuned leather pants + Lifetaker. - Magnetic gauntlets is not a worth artifact for void blade IMO. It has it's uses in certain scenarios, but in most cases it's not necessary. With keen, keen awareness, +25dex and base crit you get up to 27,6% crit. Keen confidence and Keen humility (vg passives) you can get up to 47'6% crit. Each time you don't crit, you'll also gain 8% crit channce (base vg crit). Crit gives you more damage, 15% lifesteal and 5% cdr on hit, and procs perks like keen speed. With magnetic you lose the damage and does not affect procs since they have cd. So you gain 7'5% lifesteal (15%*50%/100) and cdr that you dont need imo. - If you use Lifetaker and you are not planning on running slowing tether on weapon, take orb. It's more flexible and it also slows 30% (same as slowing tether on gear). It only works with foes that have already desintegrate applied, but Lifetaker does it on normal ranged attacks. - Using Lifetaker with enchanted and Sandlion Tarsus allows you to use 2 nice proc weapon perks for a total amount of 5 weapon perks instead of 3. You lose the possibility to use a gem, so you lose some conditional (opal/malachite/emerald) damage to gain utility and consistency. - Really tried to make it work in light, not worth. - Medium with light head, heavy chest, light hands, medium legs and heavy feet is probably the best. Although you lose 50 armor (about 3%) you gain acces to easily switch between best artifacts like: attuned leather, azoth conductors, void darkplate and you get to use Sandlion Tarsus AND Silken Litham. You can also use featherweight at it's maximum potencial just swapping light legs and heavy gauntlets. - You might consider using Ironheart. With full health and 200con you get 24k hp. This is the only instance where running voracious blade on weapon may be worth. With essence rupture this is the truest lifesteal unkillable build. - Weapon pairing has a wide range. From IG (mostly because entomb and healing entomb), rapier (furry perk and Lifetaker), Abyss, GS with lifetaker.. This build is an all-in build and mostly requires two things: more catchup potential and an "oh fuck" button or another way to reset battle. The first can be mostly solved with Sandalion Tarsus and slowing tether/orb w lifetaker. The second can be archived with mobility, burst healing, i-frames... pick whatever you want.
The heavy attack movement advice is great, nobody expects you to close caps like that.. I’ve caught sooo many people. I also use fire staff instead of abyss, gives you range and dot, also combos really well with a scream dash back fire ball into a fire pillar before you jump on them again with void blade ❤️
I am a VG user since itʻs release and have stuck with it over the years. I have done endless amounts of testing and the best setup is not pumping INT, instead do this: 300 foc 150 int 200 con I know it looks funky but just play it like a regular Voidblade build but instead of GA, put flail in there. The healing is INSANE because all heals with the VG AND Flail scale with focus and you become a crazy group healer with the ultimate perk on VG too. The damage is slightly less but the increase in self-healing and group healing is HUGE so the trade-off is 100% worth it. Also, the stat perks from Focus proc off of self-healing also.
I am a new player, and I love the VG, and I’be been trying to be a healer, but I hate the life staff. I was wondering if you could somehow share your build w me
@@NekroBlack it’s theoretical tbh. In order to get that much attribute points you need to have full 725 GS which I don’t have but it’s the target. Also, make sure to eat your attribute food. Nevertheless, you can still stick to the general guidelines which is to make sure to hit 200 CON and 150 INT and then pump everything else into FOC. That’s what unlocks it mostly.
Hey i'm running a VBlade build with Finisher as 2nd weap, with flurry fleche/evade and reposte as escape or gap close. I'm using something like 300 Int/150 foc, which gems do u suggest to put on VG and rapier?
I also started collecting, but through a heavy body artifact (maximize protection). Sword&spearmen in light armor are a nightmare 1v1. Do we need perks in gear for something other than a blade? Crit chance in glove, ring and 25 agility ~35% +25 strength for light pokes In the glove, crit chance/damage + crit emp/lifesteal/perk for void blade. Armor - full HP + ench ward + freedom/invigor Also considering the option of: 1. Musket with bleed, starting a battle with an enemy who is bleeding and being set on fire doesn't sound bad 2. Pistol (artifact) + glove crit chance/bleed. In this case, we get poison and bleeding from pokes + dots from the glove itself What do you think?
what would be a bis void? feels like lifesteal on it dont work? i try now a void with crit/keen jag/refreshing move what would you use for that build? you dont explain the weapon perks
It's a somewhat viable option for FS in medium with Azoth Conductors, Elemental Band, Sandlion Tarsus and any of the new 2 named firestaffs. It's better with the Hoplite one, though. You get +30% rend +15% weapon damage dot. I've played it before, you have the same or even more damage than a light FS, since you practically nullify the medium penalty with Azoth Conductors and you're rending them. Against rangeds, you outsubstain by being in medium and hitting as hard as them + dots. Against melees, you blast and full dot them from afar and when they "catch you", you scream into voidblade them or scream into burnout to reposition. It's also a viable option for flamethrower since you can cap movement speed at +50% (20% keen speed from Sandlion, 20% flamethrower perk and 10% fire staff passive). Apply 3 desintegrate with AA and rush with burnout -scream - flamethrower till max stacked-pillar of fire - HA to proc FS passive. Works nice with slowing tether instead of scream too and you can add detonate to that combo. You can freely swap lifetaker for deep freeze and it's a good build too, 3 builds in one. You can even go the spike route or the windchill route with deepfreeze, since it's the only weapon without empower, it's the one that the damage can be improved the most. Oblivion + baleful tether on weapon + honning stone is 42% empower without compromising gear, with elemental band you're capped at +50%. Deep freeze passive (+15%), malachite (+12%), ultimate chill (+25%), windchill (+40%) or spike (+40%) all can be stacked with empower. There are some nasty things you can do with that.
When does star Stone come back into rotation? I wanna play this so bad man. I've been healing but it's getting a bit ehh.. everyone in opr focuses me and in open world pvp when in trying to get chests I just can't defend myself I inevitably just die..
I ran into a legacy healer in an OPR that was shredding people. I'm not sure what he used, but any fools that decided to attack him would get melted once he swapped from Life Staff to Void Blade. I couldn't outheal the damage either. I want his build to counter the left click spammers.
Yeah, that's what I am trying to figure out as well, how to make the flail conversion work. I feel like you could use Power Stone, and you wouldn't have to give up the charge/stuns of GA. But how much worse will VB damage be going full Focus? Ideally still in medium weight.
@ I just wish it was competitive with other DPS so I could use it for everything it’s solid af for open world but higher mutations you’re just like there 😂
