The CE Fuel Rod Zealot was a double agent.
Correction: All fuel rod elites were double agents.
I think he killed more elites than the flood did.
Safe to say without the fuel rods most of these elites would have survived considerably longer
Pretty sure that’s the only reason the gold CE elite even lost his shield
All the Elites died of friendly fire.
XD
Yeah!! What the heck... I felt like the elite with the fuel rod was making sure the friendly fire was ON :/ there was none of the enemies and it kept shooting at his allies kinda like "Heya guys look how this thing goes pew pew pew"
Covenant Elites VS. Waves of Flood and the Fuel Rod
50% of the damage the elites take is friendly fire thanks to the fuel rod elite lol
The halo reach elites seemed to be the most effective. They firmly held their ground as opposed to charging recklessly at the flood.
Also helps that the Needle Rifle is broken when they use it against other AI.
@@milkmonstrosity that too 😂
I also have to say that he sent more waves of flood at the reach elites before sending in even a single juggernaut, compaired the the 2-3 waves the others got
CE elites I feel were comparable. Seems like CE elites in all his tests most times come out the victor. I think its a combination of them having lots of shield health, not afraid to fire their weapons fast, and the AI takes cover behind shielded elites when their shields pop to regen. Halo 2 and 3 elites were more of a joke honestly. Reach really brought back the fear lol. Jackels on legendary on the other hand....
@@Gutenburg100 the CE Elites mostly come out the winner in his tests because they're damage sponges honestly.
Like compared to later Elites, they have stronger shields and more health, but due to extended recharge times, their shields won't ever recharge in most firefights (their shield takes 22 seconds to recharge and 12 seconds of no damage to even start regen, whereas every other Elite has normal regen like the player.)
But since shield regen doesn't matter in most of the fight areas he puts them in, they just win the war of attrition.
It doesn't help that for example, they get compared to later iterations without allowing the newer Elites to dual wield (Halo 2 plasma rifle and needler are balanced around being dual wielded as an example.)
The fact that the CE Sword just wipes out 3/4 enemies in one swing because it was only ever balanced around fighting Master Chief also just gives them a lot of free wins in the sword duels.
Sword commando at about 9:00 got shot in the back before he had a chance lmao.

Omg those reach elites slaughtered the flood
Halo reach Elite AI are pretty good
In fact, as the iterations went up, I'd say the elites got better at fighting. The Halo 3 Elites weren't too shabby either.
Reach Elites were the scariest in the series IMO.
i think it was mostly due to them getting precision rifles and every other iteration was only single handed plasma rifles, also the halo reach fuel rod cannon elite was almost immediately bugged out, every other fuel rod elite put down countless numbers of his own before bugging out
Bigger, stronger, smarter lol

@@donellingram8060 yup
Um, hey
If the elites could account for friendly fire, then this would be a true test of last 'man' standing. Would be very cool to see them take a better approach than just fuel rodding their allies
Agreed... Could have been awesome
They should be replaced with plasma turret elites
Carrier form with a jackal shield is the best thing I've seen all day
Those were actually gonna be in-game but the arms looked silly passing through the shields so they dumped the idea
@@gravytube4099 😲😲😲 wow
That's an old concept that never made it into the final game but it still remains in the game files
Worts: I would do this all day
Silent Shadow: "Yeah I know, I know."
That is the covernants ass!

Love how the Elite with the fuel rod cannon is the MVP here
Flood MVP you mean
Reach elites were great at not killing eachother
12:36 poor elite was just ready for battle but his damn colleges just concussioned his ass
That elite at the end was just deleting beings from existence.
the golden elite from minute 14:30 to 14:45 is on another level, received a direct hit from a fuel cannon, area damage from an impact, a flood hit that under his shield, the hit of two floods that damaged him and finally the hit of four that he murdered and was recently killed by a flood, the hit of the four I'm not sure but that is seen in the video approximately
Sheesh you were not wrong. This is a good clip of why I couldn’t kill these things as a kid. Look what this durable ass elite just did! As all that’s happening he’s murdering still. The perfect solider 🤣
I would love to see this as a game mode in a future halo. Just you and like 10 other dudes with ammo refills and the waves just get harder and harder. (Basically just firefight, with flood, in a hallway.)
Forge in infinite, and every characters playable.
Like in Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, surviving against infinite waves of enemies.
Floodfight
Halo odst flood fight basically
That fuel rod cannon was more of a hindrance than an assistant
7:19 the carrier forms are having fun
Holy fuck this video was ALPHA dude. You take the most CHAD species, the elites, the most badass, and have them survive. Once they’re struggling, they send in the Silent Shadow and damn those elites are extraordinary. You reminded us what the gap was between the regular elites and the pinnacle of their special operations was. And then the Big Man himself, the baddest elite appears and raw dog’s everyone. Alpha video man, one of your best ever
What a loser lol
@@steezewithease lmao. So why did you watch the video?
The final Elite is not even interesting to see.
@@Cynwale Smh
I'm sure you've been invited to tons of parties for sheer intelligence alone
14:00 i dunno why but the most badass part of the video for me was the small talk in this part between all the generations right before battle
12:30 when you tell yourself today Is my day.. and a bunch of problems smack you instantly
Then he got tbagged right after LOL
He last elite was ridiculously really good.
Too good, he wanted all the glory to himself, even slaughtered his own teammates
That Ultra on the Halo 2 Elite line-up has so many betrayals thanks to his Fuel Rod Gun. 🤣 He took out most of his own comrades!
They owed him a lot of money.
The music at the end was amazing reminded me of Two Betrayals
Well thanks to Fuel Rod Elite we cam call it endless betrayal
Flood: " We won. "
Silent Shadow: " I'm gonna stop ya' right there. "
The Reach Elites just goes to show how improved the AI got by the time bungie made reach , not only were they not butt- rushing but actually somewhat tried to watch their line of fire to avoid FF. I am not a very tech savvy person but are these elites running on same programming or are they each different?
This is a very good video. You should do something similar but without the Fuel Rod Elites. Or put them in the front lines instead
Finally, the fall of High Charity.
Low Charity.
Quite the interesting battle for sure!
Halo 1 Elites- :53 - 4:33 (3:40)
Halo 2 Elites- 4:57 - 7:00 (2:03)
Halo 3 Elites- 7:27 - 9:58 (2:31)
Halo Reach Elites- 10:25 - 13:47 (3:22)
All Elites: 14:24 - 17:46 (3:22)
I love the addition of the Silent Shadow. That really caught me off guard.
The needle cannon absolutely shreds flood
the one with the orange/gold energy sword kicked butt... especially when the music kicked in... he also evaporated everything in his path
He’s on par with the Arbiter at this point 🥶
I actually love this scenario. I'd like to see more of them. The only thing I'd change is the fuel rod elite. He seemed to be causing a lot of blue-on-blues.
You should do this map again but have literally every covenant soldier.
Elites, Brutes, Jackals, Grunts, Skirmishers, Drones, Engineers and Hunters all at once fighting the flood. You know if you can port over all that anyway, dope vid though dude.
The elite with the fuel Rod Cannon kill more of their own people (Elites), than the Flood kill the elites. (Friendly Fire) lol
Most elites died from being shot at by other elites ... stupid AI xD
Hearing a bunch of elites all sighing at once cracked me up
*Wort wort wort intensifies*
If this versus were a match, it would be like: betrayal, betrayal, betrayal, betrayal, betrayal.
Marshal Worts Entrance is outright Epic
This shows the importance of artillary support in battle
*competent artillery support
Also, this is what I imagine when Commercials says that Soaps kill 99.9% of Germs
I really love that halo 1 fuel rod shot’s arc, it’s a cool contrast between the UNSC’s rockets that just fly straight forever, and it feels like it makes sense that they would arc.
Shame that the arc mechanic in fuel rods only stayed in the halo 1’s fuel rod cannon variation and players couldn’t even wield them (normally). It would have been cool to actually have to think about how much you’d have to arc a shot to hit your target if you found yourself in a situation where you had to use one.
JMHO :)
all of the fuel rods actually arc, they just arc so minimally that it makes little to no difference unless you're trying to hit something on the other end of the map
I gotta learn how to do this. The fun would never stop.
What can men do against such Reckless hate
Probably give it a snickers, flood are angry when hungry.
Elite 1: Hey you think friendly fire is on?
Elite 2: *Shoots at allies*
Wort, wort, wort! (Very entertaining but the stage selection could've been better) since the flood are pure melee). Wort wort (a majority of the Elites all died from friendly fire due to the stage thus it was more about how many can die by friendly fire rather then the flood)
So much awesomeness in one video, and it was a long one too. This was great.
Scary to think this is how most fights against the flood during the forerunner flood war probably were like.
16:40
Elite: Final reinforcements arrived!
*gets deleted*
Flood was gangsta till the silent shadows showed up
Reach’s elites being intelligent as usual
This need to be done without fuel rods, allies with explosives always end up killing more allies than the enemy does.
Love what you did with the juggernauts when defeated and the flood variety is quite awesome to watch. Also where are the Carbine teams of H2 and H3? Those are the best flood counters on higher difficulties!
And none of the elites were duel wielding plasma rifles
When elites get mad.. that is the scariest thing ever 14:35
Ooh. Do a human/covenant alliance vs flood.
Turrents, hunters, grunts, the whole nine yards.
I feel like a fat, wealthy, pompous aristocrat watching this inside a gladiator’s coliseum. Eating my chips and grinning ominously as the carnage ensues.
Halo trilogy Elites: For the survival of our species.
Halo Reach Elites: The taming of the Flood.
6:39 that elite literally got shooting star memed he flipped into the air still alive xD
9:03 notice how the sword elite is killed by the elite behind him. Then the elite that killed him drops him a sweaty T-bag.
This was so awesome. I really think you should redo these but the fuel rod elites have beam rifles or something instead. There was wayyyy to many elites lost and sacrificed for the great journey due to friendly fire.
Also, after watching that last elite kill everything in sight, when it jumped up into the air at the camera I thought that mf was coming after me. I was concerned for a second.
Got a JustEat ad while an elite was getting eaten alive by 7 infection forms. Nice timing
Elits fighting off the Flood and reanimated space monkeys on High Charity November 3rd, 2552 circa colorised
It would be noce to see marines from halo ce to reach with elites from ce to reach fight againts all flood versions
13:48 Covenant Elites: LETS DANCE
What song was that @ 13:48
@@cxfxcdude covenant dance
Even got the shielded carrier from nice haven't watched it yet but i already know I'm gonna enjoy this
excellent video, the best prepared undoubtedly seem to be the reach elites, they received almost no friendly fire, those who resisted the most were those from halo ce, but were killed by the rocket launcher, those from h2 and h3 as in their desperation for fighting was not mediated and they were quickly exposed to allied fire, interestingly, they were all stuck in the same place
Ah yes, place the fuel rod wielding elite in the position to kill all his comrades before the Flood can... genius.
9:06 that friendly fire really does some work to these elites
i love the fuel rod elite just casually decimating his team
16:45 ...And his name its John Cena... mean, Thel Vadamme!
(Insert John Cena Theme anyways)
That's actually how I remember Thel was the most badass sanghielli describe in books.
The golden elite hasnt hear of friendly fire I see
Everybody gangster till Johnny shows up with his fuel rod cannon
Damm this was one of the best videos if not the best video you ever made, which is saying a lot because all of your content is absolutely gold 💯💯💪🏾💪🏾🔥🔥
The fuel rod elites did more harm than good 😂😂 I've never witnessed more team kills in my life of halo lol
These are my favorite battles fr
9:06 That poor elite got shredded by his friends before he cojld do anything.
Seeing the golden elites from halo 1, and the white legendary council elite fighting together :
Me: 😳😳😳
Fucking beautiful
The enormous amounts of friendly fire are hilarious hahaha!
Feel as if the halo 3 elites were held back, none of them were dual wielding
H2 elites: I must fire short accurate bursts with my needler. HCE elites: HAHAHA NEEDLER GOES BRRRRRR
Silent Shadow was putting in work! Next time do all Zealots and sword users
dude that elite with the fuel rod gun did some hella friendly lol.....
Humans: create master chief
Covenant 17:15 : hold my beer
Idk who that Sangheili is, but man, that was freaking awesome
His own teammates: * exist *
Fuel Rod Elite: "And I took that personally."
I like the last one with all the elites from the different games working together, I kinda want to see all the marines from 1 to reach vs the flood to
I have a question where do you get all these ais and there models do you make these your self cause if you do that's cool as hell
Fulerod zealot: spends entire match testing friendly fire.
13:11 It looked like he tripped and fell.
To me this is just watching the covenant devolve after they destroyed Reach
lol, a lot of friendly fire, all this chaos xD
Seems like the blowing up things do most of the work.
Halo: Flood mode (basically a zombie mode) where you need to survive the waves of onslaught floods.
You just knew the halo ce fuel rod elite was going f those flood up and their own men lol
The CE gold elite ai was CLEARLY never intended to work together with other friendlies in large battles.
16:42 to end of video: arbiter with prophet’s bane in the books
Other Elites: *My kill*
Reach Elites: *Our kill*
CE Elites are good at Team Kills with Fuel Rods. That Zealot killed more Elites than the Flood.
Wort Wort Wort :p
16:44 "y'all ever heard the name Xytan Jar Wattinree...well class is in session"
