Absolutely loving watching elites like this haha. Even people playing as elites in say halo reach all seem to have the same almost childlike naiveness that I feel only an elite can do perfectly haha. They’re almost cute at that point
Their AI wasn't optimized to space themselves or avoid firing near friendlies if they has fuel rods, because in the base game they never had those, grunts did. The occasional brute chieftains in halo 3 did. That's about it.
