I appreciate the dedication to only using Covenant weaponry. I've seen a few playthroughs of this mod where the first thing the player does is pick up the shotgun. Heretics, the lot of them. Thank you for staying true to the Great Journey.
Pro tip-if you stick a carrier form flood with a sticky grenade then immediately shoot at it with a bullet based gun it will explode without those popcorn floods appearing. Used to abuse this when I played Halo CE on Legendary mode. It’s a lifesaver!
i just bunched up the infection forms into a nice big group then melee'd one and the chain reaction of the first one popping would wipe the entire swarm lickity split

I love the Elites from CE! Wish they kept their design IMO they were more upright and slim which I thought was cool asf. I wanted to play as the Gold Elite so bad growing up.
If the lore is anything to go off of, the Gold Elite is not Thel, just a regular Zealot. Thel was stuck on his ship for the majority of Alpha Halo, trying to deal with a corrupt as fuck Prophet of Stewardship.
Indeed, he had one mission and that was at the silent cartographer where he had his own problem with the flood and as he was trying to escaped he heard the explosions from the autumn
it would have been even scarier as u did at first have friends iwith u but then when u split up around in the room and then u heard some roars and adter that u went to look and found out taht ur alies are now your enemys so taht the roar you heard were them transforming
If you read the Flood novel, it’s said that the Flood repaired the crashed dropship you find on this level and use it to enter the ship while it’s in orbit and causes it to crash back on the surface
I wish we could add A.I into our Forge maps in Halo it shouldn't be all that complicated.If you ask me 343 just doesn't have what it takes to run a fun game,what else would we expect from them just let down after let down.
I'm just taking leaks with a grain of salt but from what I see, in forge, you will soon be able to add ai bots (which includes all bosses. From Tremonius to Escharum). So recreating past campaign missions should be a reality soon or your own custom scenarios @@ants7279

Nonsense. It plays the same as when the Flood ambushed chief. When the Covenant met the Flood, the latter didn't trick or ambush them: it was released from cells we do not explore in-game. I know it takes time to make a mod, but as is, it just doesn't make any sense lore wise. Well if it wasn't a goal for it to make sense then I apologise for the unnecessary criticism.

Kind of felt bad that they flew away in a Banshee leaving all of them to fight alone.
I think they knew it that the flood will conquer their position and they had no choice but to retreat to the new position.
