@@HiddenXperia if it wasn't for H2A multiplayer using the weird and fat Elites from Halo 4 and 5 then I would have wanted that to have been added in the new 'season pass' system for PC MCC as what will be in CE and 2's seasons that's worthwhile other than the H2A armours.

Not to mention countless convinent vehicles and other convinent species ( drones, grunts, jackals, brutes, and hunters ). I would say 85 % of 1v1 fights between noble 6 and the most OP elites noble 6 would win. The only elites I think noble 6 would be outmatched against is the arbiter ( thel vadam ), Rtas Vadum, and Bero Crucify.
Your not wrong, considerably the almost forgotten enemy type that randomly spawns in some of the missions which nobody talks a lot about, I’m always wondering if the golden ranger/Bob has lore.
The Elites in Reach are just so cool and menacing looking. They remind me of the Predator (the first movie). Really wish they would have stuck with the Reach design in the later games.
I wish we had a stand-alone game That follows an Elite as they fight their way from perhaps the timeline of Reach to the current Timeline. (maybe even a game following The Arbiters journey or another Elite that joins the Arbiters cause.
I was thinking something similar, start as a elite minor and then keep doing missions and growing in rank, with missions changing depending on the rank you have.

Since we do know that over time the Elites did start to distrust the Prophets for always denying requests to stop the war with diplomacy and introducing the humans into the covenant.

This is what was so great about Reach. Aside from the new vehicles, weapons, and overall best multiplayer (imo), we finally got to see different rankings in the elite army. And to top it all off, when you wanted to play as an elite in multiplayer, you got to choose which rank you wanted to play as. Instead of just a minor like all the other Halos. It’d be really cool if in the new Reach added to MCC, we could mix and match armor pieces from each elite rank to really be able to customize elite armor (along with already our spartan armor customization).
Well in 3 you could play as other classes than minors like commandos, but Reach had the best elite customization system in the series so far with the large amount of ranks, even if it pales in comparison to Spartan customization.
@@JBrotsis1 I really don't understand how you can say that. So many weapons are weak and nearly useless (especially the assault rifle and plasma repeater). Friendly AI do almost no damage to enemies. Concussion rifle elites deal insanely dumb amounts of damage. I like Halo: Reach, but I can't stand playing the campaign without a mod installed, and for me Reach PVP is only fun because of the vehicles.
@@andyfriederichsen different strokes for different folks. I gravitated to the campaign when it came out and fell in love with the multiplayer because of it. It’s still the only installment I play in MCC. And yes, the vehicles in Reach are also the best versions. I also love playing Invasion and as that’s only in Reach, it’s one of the primary reasons I put Reach so high.

Honestly, I think Reach had the best armor designs for the Covenant in the entire series. Yes, the Elite armors could get a little crazy, but they stood out and had an almost religious flare to their design. Seeing Halo 2 Anniversary go back to the cut-n-paste elite armors of Halo 2 and 3 kind of bummed me out, because I would've loved to see Rtas' in Reach's Ultra armor, or maybe even dressed in General or Field Marshal gear.

It would be interesting to see the story of the Field Marshal from Reach expanded upon. He was likely a subordinate of Fleetmaster 'Barutamee assigned to hunting Forerunner artifacts, and he presumably fought Noble Team on several occasions. To me it seems like a very interesting Sangheili story which could give a good view into their culture and how they fight

If the banished have been around so long why dont they have any humans or human vehicles in their army??? Atriox doesnt hate humans and banish styled unsc vehicles woukd be so dope. idk if its ever specifically mentioned that only Zealot's can become Field Marshalls (since only one ever appeared in only one game), but given the armor is basically a recolored Zealot armor with horns, it'd make sense.

The Ultras In reach are oddly very weirdly characterized, All the Ultras in the other games were the next rank After Majors and were extremely senior Elites who not only led Large Ground Forces but Also were senior enough to become shipmasters and Lead Smaller ships like light cruisers and Corvettes , before the Generals on the reach were encountered, the Ultras were thought by the UNSC to be the highest rank an elite in the infantry could get .
Love how all of them resemble different animals with diverse symbolic meanings, especially the higher ones. Bungie knew how to resemble elite culture in quite an elegant way.

Also when you compare the barrel length between the M808s to the M1A1/2s. The muzzle velocity puts the Abrams to shame. With the Scorpions size & wider profile, it can fit more firepower & can traverse all colonies planets with ease, it is design for rapid deployment after all, going from planet to another. It is modulated for quick depot or field repairs as well, one of the amrour packages we know so far in lore is titanium ceramic. The UNSC must of chose that for superior heat protection against plasma bolts from the Covenant.
Halo CE fighting the Elites _(Blue, Red, Silver, Gold & Stealth)._ My friend and I developed a respect for them as a foe on the battlefield _(Legendary difficulty)._ For if you were ill equipped and lacked 1st strike capabilities taking one on head to head, especially in open stages with little cover, was not a simple task. Then in Halo 2 the introduction of Thel 'Vadam which was odd at first. But gave us a new perspective of our former foe and a deeper respect. Then Halo 3 having John and Thel team up after everything they've been through since the first game. Was just perfect. A honored enemy and worth rival, becomes a trusted ally and true friend.
Oh yeah the secret stealth elites in the human levels, watching you, and only attack when you attack them, even if you are looking RIGHT at them feet away, they will just sit there. And yes the respect you earned because things were getting deep with the Elites, like they were actual characters, not faceless targets. (Sort of, though)

I was never overly fond of the Elite armors from Reach (I just prefer the style from Halo 1-3) but I love the Spec-Ops armor from Reach. It actually fits with HiddenXperia’s video on Elite designs, the armor just looks sleek and graceful.

They probably used those fat elites in h2a bc it was built off of halo 4s engine and the model's bone structures before reach were pretty different

It would be interesting to see the story of the Field Marshal from Reach expanded upon. He was likely a subordinate of Fleetmaster 'Barutamee assigned to hunting Forerunner artifacts, and he presumably fought Noble Team on several occasions. To me it seems like a very interesting Sangheili story which could give a good view into their culture and how they fight

I don’t blame you, I would run from them too, and I bet it would be funny for them, seeing a demon/player actively run for the hills upon seeing an Elite because of how dangerous they are.

This gives so much greater context to the different elites you fight in Reach. It’s still amazing how game like that 9 years still is communicating small lore through the campaign missions. I got a question I hoped you could answer. If the banished have been around so long why dont they have any humans or human vehicles in their army??? Atriox doesnt hate humans and banish styled unsc vehicles woukd be so dope. A spartan in banish styled armor would be amazing.
For now I believe its plot but I also don't think that Humans would even want to join as they would see them as covenant regardless.

idk if its ever specifically mentioned that only Zealot's can become Field Marshalls (since only one ever appeared in only one game), but given the armor is basically a recolored Zealot armor with horns, it'd make sense.

The Ultras In reach are oddly very weirdly characterized, All the Ultras in the other games were the next rank After Majors and were extremely senior Elites who not only led Large Ground Forces but Also were senior enough to become shipmasters and Lead Smaller ships like light cruisers and Corvettes , before the Generals on the reach were encountered, the Ultras were thought by the UNSC to be the highest rank an elite in the infantry could get .
Love how all of them resemble different animals with diverse symbolic meanings, especially the higher ones. Bungie knew how to resemble elite culture in quite an elegant way.

How do UNSC vehicles compare to modern world vehicles like the UNSC's Scorpion tank vs M1A2 Abram or the Warthog vs the Oshkosh JLTV?
I imagine the UNSC’s Tank is light years ahead of the tanks that America and any other country uses today.
The Warthog is just a Jeep with 3barrel .50 i assume the Steel plating itself is very advanced but the open seats nullifies it

The explosive round however the Scorpion uses is 40mm smaller than the M1A2's round.
Also it seem that the Scorpions lacks reinforced layers of armor like the Abram's has.

Who knows the chemical propellant that makeup for those 90mm shells, it's not the size that matter but what you do with it. Also when you compare the barrel length between the M808s to the M1A1/2s. The muzzle velocity puts the Abrams to shame.
With the Scorpions size & wider profile, it can fit more firepower & can traverse all colonies planets with ease, it is design for rapid deployment after all, going from planet to another.
It is modulated for quick depot or field repairs as well, one of the amrour packages we know so far in lore is titanium ceramic. The UNSC must of chose that for superior heat protection against plasma bolts from the Covenant.
Halo CE fighting the Elites _(Blue, Red, Silver, Gold & Stealth)._ My friend and I developed a respect for them as a foe on the battlefield _(Legendary difficulty)._ For if you were ill equipped and lacked 1st strike capabilities taking one on head to head, especially in open stages with little cover, was not a simple task.
Then in Halo 2 the introduction of Thel 'Vadam which was odd at first. But gave us a new perspective of our former foe and a deeper respect.
Then Halo 3 having John and Thel team up after everything they've been through since the first game. Was just perfect.
A honored enemy and worth rival, becomes a trusted ally and true friend.
Oh yeah the secret stealth elites in the human levels, watching you, and only attack when you attack them, even if you are looking RIGHT at them feet away, they will just sit there.
And yes the respect you earned because things were getting deep with the Elites, like they were actual characters, not faceless targets. (Sort of, though)

I was never overly fond of the Elite armors from Reach (I just prefer the style from Halo 1-3) but I love the Spec-Ops armor from Reach. It actually fits with HiddenXperia’s video on Elite designs, the armor just looks sleek and graceful.

Covenant war doctrines puts honour above tactical intelligence. Not to say thier weren't exceptions like Thel Vadam.
