      2’s and 3’s really aren’t that different, if you look into deep lore, mostly bc of better armour. Which noble team had.

    • @moalex6617
      @moalex6617 Год назад +69

      The biggest difference is that S2 are more durable, their armor, and remain as deadly solo. S3 were created to be expendable. They worked best as a team and had less effective armor than the S2. For the most part, once a S3 squad loses a member is usually when they start to fall off. If I recall correctly, Kelly kicked a squad of S3's ass on Onyx even though they had cloaking. All she had to do was put one out of commission and the rest was just clean up.

    • @Snail_IV
      @Snail_IV Год назад +82

      @@moalex6617 you have to remember that the 3’s on onyx were freshly augmented 12 year olds wearing spi up against a fully grown spartan 2 wearing Mjolnir. They were set up to lose from the beginning. If you were to pit an adult Spartan 3 wearing Mjolnir up against a 2 then you’d have a pretty even fight on your hands.

      @@EAC197the 2s wiped the floor with trainers after augments. The trainers had exo suits to help boost strength and the 2s never had issues. Now pre-augment, they’d be pretty even but post augmentations the 2s out preformed. Most 3s were closer to the lower end of the 2s due to augments but most 2s were better. No, he prolonged Emile's life to the point he was able to make that critical difference at the end of the game by not ordering him to pursue. Spartans aren't power rangers, the player characters are literally the exceptions labeled "Hyper Lethal" and all sangheili, much less a Field Marshal, is much more powerful and capable than you think. Remember, the dude took sustained fire from how many Spartans in that ambush scene? And still just bodied his way past them. That Zealot lifted Emile with one arm, and Spartans weigh half a ton. Field Marshals don't get to their position for nothing, he may very well have been the Covenant's own Master Chief or Noble 6.

    This may be a controversial opinion, but I like the 343 zealot helmet more than the Bungie one. I think if they modified it a bit that it would look better than the Halo Infinite one.

    I'd pay top dollar for a respectful, proper spinoff game starring an Elite faction that operated during the battle of Reach. Maybe have a pseudo-boss fight against Noble Team.
    Halo 2 and Wars 2's DLC dared to tell a story while playing as anti-human faction soldiers in the Covenant and the Banished. Playing as "the bad guys" and fighting humans would be refreshing.

    That couldn't be the Fleet of Particular Justice at 10:20 since it didn't arrive until August 30th. The cutscene showing Noble 6 after his reentry from orbit shows the date as the 23rd. Love hearing about the Divine Sentries, they're definitely one of my favorite Covenant groups with how much lore they stuffed in for them.

    I love it when obscure characters get in depth lore. They could have easily aid that these Zealots had no relation to eachother and that they were random encounters, but no. Every single one of them were from the same sect, and all hunting Noble team for a reason. Would love to see more of these aholes in future Halo games. I still need to get payback for Noble Six's death.
