Man, I always told Joel he needs to go pro... he should be narrating big time projects...like seriously, he should submit a voiceover resume to production companies. A la Forensic Files, Unsolved Mysteries, Cold Case Files, FBI Files etc. Joel truly has that special quality that makes his voice shine and stand out amongst the thousands of other narrator's.

So the dude in the second story found out that the sounds and gunfire he heard were from multiple well-armed bikers who had just raped and, as far as they knew murdered a woman, and this knowledge made him feel MORE guilty for not charging off into the night to try to help? Maybe he'd feel less guilty if he'd done the only sensible thing he could have done in that situation, which wouldn't have put him in any danger, only cost him some time: gotten back to his car and called the police as quickly as possible, or barring that, stopped in at the nearest police station told them the tale. I'm not exactly sure why the two options were to do absolutely nothing and run away; or to go charging in, full on one man commando, to an unknown, dangerous situation.
I was thinking the same thing, any little bit of information could have been of value to the cops. Better to do something, even if it might seem useless, than nothing.
As far as helping others goes, I was told and learned real quick at a point in life that “if you have the capability then it’s your responsibility to do something” I’ve lived by this and feel good about what I’ve done
The dude didn't even call for help when he had the chance. They might've been able to catch the monsters in the act. I get not running to a bunch of crazy ppl with guns by yourself but I do NOT get not calling for help asap.
I would try to contact the Wife's family with my information... trust your gut. More info doesn't hurt, if he's innocent then he is, but if it was my family then I'd want to know all I could. Murders are hard to solve, but they are often cracked with the smallest amount of info. And they don't expire.
The second to last story: Solid gold. I hope that man went on to find joy and lasting peace after his great loss. Every night I find something wonderful on RUclips.
Its funny how scared of the woods people are, for good reason most of the time. I have lived off grid in the woods for about a decade and the scariest thing ive come across, besides tweakers invading around us, is armadillos snooting around in the dirt making tons of noise. And the random coyote sightings :P
@@tablescissors we eventually moved states so we could be close to my family, but while it was actively bad we would confront them about dumping garbage everywhere and tried to get ahold of the owners of the properties they were squatting on. Not much came out of calling the law and stuff
