That story, about the dude getting his dead dad's watch stolen, made me cry. My daddy died a few years ago and all I have is his necklace and wedding ring, so I can surely sympathize with this dude.
It made me sad too, reminded me of a ring I had that used to belong to my grandmother. I pawned it when I was at rock bottom addiction and I don’t think I’ll ever forgive myself for it.
Story 5 is the perfect example of consequences of your actions. Even if you do something bad and don't get caught, you will remember what you did for the rest of your life and have to live with the guilt of it. I think back on bad things I've done and it hurts. Story 6 about the supposed lake of dead animals that seemingly vanished, is for me the most terrifying. It's obvious, if true, that there was some kind of corporate or government entity responsible. Despite if the story is true or not, the fact remains that mass corruption runs rampant at the highest levels of power. If you don't agree, then obviously it would be a waste of time trying to convince you otherwise. All I know is that those who hold all the money are the ones who control the world, and you don't become as wealthy as they are by being charitable and selfless. It's quite the contrary. The addiction to money, in my opinion, is far more damaging and dangerous than all the substance addictions combined, and will inevitably be humanity's undoing.

I live in the middle of nowhere. I LOVE the privacy , however we recently have had to install cameras because people have been setting up tents and attempting to live in our woods . They are included on my property ,and i wouldn't mind if they were staying far in the back. Ppl fall on hard times. BUT it became a problem when they decided to cross the line and start stealing and leaving needles and baggies all over the place. They dropped this stuff on my patio stealing planters . Fr planters for plants, wtf steals that? And runs off , or run stumbles off to the woods , dropping their nasty needles. Luckily , I live in a stand your ground state should they decide to break INTO my home. The sheriffs do nothing but tell them to leave. They came back. So cameras are up.
I completely agree with you. If those people set up camp in the far end of your property, kept the area clean and also kept to themselves without disturbing you, your family, and or property, then it wouldn’t be a big deal. But like always, people have zero respect for the next person especially when they’re squatting on your land, and so I don’t blame you for putting up cameras and tightening up your security. If it was me, and they had started to steal and leave their nasty needles and whatever else on my property, I would grab my shotgun and forcefully tell them to leave permanently. If the local sheriff and local law enforcement don’t want to do anything than I’d be more than happy to remove them from my land. Im sorry if I’m ranting a bit, it just burns me up when people push their luck, over stay their welcome, and just act downright completely disrespectful. I hope you haven’t had anymore problems with these squatting junkies and that you, your family, and property has remained safe. Hopefully you got rid of them. In the 80's I often spent my winters, as the winter caretaker of a remote hunting lodge on the north sideof the Alaska range, in the shadows of McKinley. There were no roads, summer or winter. Fly in only. It was just me, a woman in her teens at the start, to early 20s and her 2 dogs. What I got from it was the knowledge that I was capable of dealing with anything that came my way without anyone to help me or do it for me. I also learned I don't need others to keep me entertained. I am happy and content with my own company. It has given me a strong core to build the rest of my life from. It is why this pandemic, quarenteen, and mayhem isn't making me a stir crazy mess. Take this time separated to look inside yourself. Assess the things that you like and dislike about yourself and use it to make changes that will bring you where you want to be.

You and Lazy are my top 2 favorites to fall asleep to. Thank you.
'Middle of Nowhere'. Those words resonate like a heavenly choir when I see them right before I hit 'play'. Thank you !
The guy on the Alicia story must've really loved her enough to understand how she is and sympathize with her not seeing her kids even though she literally drove a knife to his chest
He's better than I am. I was married to an abusive narcissist too and had kids with him. I can't bring myself to forgive him for hurting my kids.
I hope you'll get well soon! It sounds like you're sick but you're able to narrate so well nonetheless. Thank you for making these!
Found your channel just last night been stuck watching every single video ever since. You definitely have a gift.
I love the pumpkin guts detail on the knife. Distortion is just the best!
The "never grow old" phrase feels like it's telling me that I'm gonna die young...
I don't understand that saying! The implications weird me out. 😖
@@candiedpandie stay youthful at heart
Story 4: Really? Do you feel sorry for her?
She deserved everything and maybe more. You're too good, that's not healthy.
I seriously thought that too. I was glad to hear the bitch died. She won't be out trying to further get in his head or harm their daughters!
The best, best, best narrator by far! Hope you’re feeling better!
I have to say, I have enjoyed listening to many of your story compilations and have given a 👍, but this is the first time I've commented. It's because I enjoy your narration so much, that I have to listen to more! You have the perfect narrative voice and I become so completely immersed in each story, that I just want more. Also, each story is thrilling and right to the point. I am so glad I found your channel. Thank you!
Yeah baby. Awesome stories tonight buddy !!!!!! Those are always tops with me. You had me holding on to every word.
Lovin' you Let's Read❤ Thank you for being here!!
It blows me away at how much road rage some people have.
Yes, yes, yes, thank u!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Love your vids! Keep on keeping on!
A so agree you have the best narrating voices on You tube. Keep the story's coming thank you.😃😃
Your videos are always the ones I click immediately before any others! Thank you Joel!👻

This RUclips channel gets me through work everyday 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Story #6 is going to drive me nuts!! I want answers!!
Love the stories as always, big thank you for your work. N as cheesy as it is lmao on how it got mugged
41:49 No woodsman worth his salt would drink unfiltered water -sincerely, a backpacker ✌🏻
Perfect timing for sleep
Funnily enough, story 4 about "alicia" reminds me about a girl I live in my complex with who's the same just much younger from the sound of the narration 🥴
Found this channel by chance with the disturbing song backstory videos (love them, would love to see more!) And this channel is getting me entirely through my covid isolation. Cant wait to have a binge through the entire video backlog on this channel
taemin
Perfect. I have a 4 hour drive by myself from Phoenix az to heber ca. It’s getting dark. the road is mostly empty. This should be fun!
Omg sooo early for once!! Love your vids!! 💕 keep it uppp xoxo.
“I could feel the heat of his engine on my back”…either the homie can run real fast or that dudes truck is slow af.
Story 4, why can't people just break up/divorce/leave each other instead of trying to kill the other partner? Jesus, so glad she went to jail. 😧
don't want the spouse to take the kids.
Abusees can't always łeave for fear they will be attacked AFTER they leave. Also, family court is a nightmare for some people. I left and divorced but I don't shame anyone who literally cannot go.
I love listening to these while working.
More lovely sleep stories! Thank you!❤
Stay free, never grow old. Amen!
Omg that joke at the very end was something else.😂❤️
Great one!
Thanks for everything you do Joel. My favorite voice out there 😍
I'm so happy, for today my birthday present showed up! Not 1 but 2, yes 2, hoodies! Purrdeep 2 & 3, just need the first. ❤🎉
Really nice horror!! Thank you!
Story 4, the man that was attacked by his wife, he sounds like the most forgiving man ever, story 5, the storyteller ends with a message of hope. Will people ever learn to stay away from drugs?
Story 4: she brought it on herself
Omg. Do not give up or put ur life on hold for another. If it’s meant to be, it will survive anything. Even distance. If you aren’t the best version of yourself, you’ll never make anyone else, or yourself, happy.
You probably find me annoying but I’d like to say that you are one of my favorite narrators. My Mom passed last week and it has been so tough but these videos help keep my mind occupied. Thanks for all you do!
my mom passed too. hardest thing Ive ever been through. keep your head up 🖤
I like the narration of these videos
Love your voice and storytelling...Keep up the good work!
These stories are not bedtime stories... Your great at telling your stories and as always they keep me on edge... Keep up the great work luv ur voice and scary tales....👍😊
And just like that, my rainy day is complete!
You're narrations are remarkable 👍🔥
Wonderful Joel! No one better..
So good to listen someone always speaking of God and asking people to pray for another. Such a rare thing these days.... unfortunately 😔
I love your narrations, your voice is perfect for horror! I love all your content on RUclips and Spotify
You are a great narrator. Thank you
In the 80's I often spent my winters, as the winter caretaker of a remote hunting lodge on the north sideof the Alaska range, in the shadows of McKinley.
Love your channel and your voice ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
You gotta have the best narration on RUclips i like the way u don’t try to sound dramatic or try to act out what the person is feeling u sound cold hearted I guess
