Wow!! What an amazing performance! And conducted by the composer, no less. That must have been an experience they’ll never forget. Thanks for posting!
Howard Shore's score for the trilogy was excellent. But this whole symphony truly encapsulates the entire feel not just LOTR or Middle-earth but the realms of fantasies. Even perhaps extending to the worlds of Eddings and Robert Jordan.

Actually, the original soundtrack was composed a long time before the movies ! It's well worth the Howard Shore's score, don't you think so ? Nice orchestra, too.
Wenn ich solch ein Orchester zur Verfügung hätte, würde ich es nicht für so einen Humbug nutzen. Die Zahl der Liebhaber solcher Musik hält sich in Grenzen.
Trotzdem Respekt vor der nahezu perfekten musikalischen Umsetzung
