Yeah, Peach has a hard time getting kills in, I agree patience at the end really is important. I definitely need to "lab" my attack game.
Big fan of peach and daisy in smash in general maybe make a practice drill video?

How did you catch the turnip at 4:03? I know that an aerial will catch a turnip, but at 4:03 it looked like you were doing nothing. I think I've seen some turnip combos where Peach immediately catches the turnip after throwing (after it strikes an opponent at very close range), but it looks like no attacks are in the processing of coming out. What's going on there?

You can use the z button to catch turnips without doing another move.
How do you come down and kick someone like that when your in the air?

hey, the main inputs you need to know are:
Jab: tap A without pressing anything on the control stick
Tilts (side, up, and down): lightly tilt the control stick in the direction and press A (or if you have Tilt Stick on in controls, tilt the Right Stick without pressing A)
Smash Attacks (side, up, and down): Quickly tilt the control stick in the direction and press A (or if you have Smash Stick on in controls, tilt the Right Stick without pressing A)
Special Moves (neutral, up, down, and side): For neutral B, without holding the control stick in any direction hit B. For Up, Down, and Side B, Tilt the Control Stick in the correct direction and hit B.
Jump: X or Y
Grab: Shield + A or one of the bumpers
Shield: Triggers
(Note: Tilts and Smash attacks only work on the ground, and Peach's Down-B, Turnip, only works on the ground.)
