MK4 GOLF REPLICA R32 BUMPER MODIFICATIONS

- Hello and welcome to the SPOOLIN UP channel.
In this video I make some modifications to my replica MK4 GOLF R32 front bumper. The modifications are as follows:
1) Front splitter fitted
2) Silver bumper grilles sprayed black
3) Broken bumper mounting brackets changed
This was one of the most enjoyable and satisfying jobs I have completed so far. I havent done many visual modifications to the car so the little changes I made ended up making a huge difference. Now the intercooler has been fitted you can see the Airtec logo in red through the grille and it makes the car look more aggressive.

Never new those wheel arch spacers existed! Would happily buy one if you could 3d print them
I know man neither did I! The only problem with 3D printing is it needs to be scanned and a CAD drawing needs to he made in order for it to be 3D printed and there is a large cost. Thanks for reminding me though I may still pursue this.
Looks good in the black, red writing behind really pops now, and yes we need more xr2 content but thats just me being completely selfish😂
Hahaha the XR2 content is coming soon, had a little mishap with a video I filmed on it recently but I will make sure its the next one to be uploaded. I like the way the red comes through now too man, thanks 👍🏽
Yeah bud . I'm in two minds on my front bumper not sure if I should stat GTI or go r32 deffo look better in the black
I know man!! Difficult choice because I look back at my stock GTI bumper in old photos and it looks just as good but different. It made the intercooler install easy 💪🏽👍🏽
I was watching the video and I wondered where I could buy those arches to put in the bumpers to align them, can you send me the link?? so the bumper will be aligned well right??
I would say you need to do a thorough Google search to find them. It's been a long time now since I sourced them and I think they came from VW Hertitage. I'm pretty sure the part numbers are in the description.

What clips are you referring to?
I had to remove tha grills on my replica R32 bumper to make room for intercooler piping......lol
How does it look with the grilles removed? I bet it looks pretty mean 😠

What’s up bro have you got a link for the bumper? I wanted one unpainted as my car is getting painted this year I know there is some on eBay very cheap around £130 would you recommend one of them?
Hey bro how are you? I can try and find the link for you no problem, I recommend one for sure man especially because it accommodates the front mount intercooler so well. Once the grilles are painted black it looks great and once I fitted it correctly I was very happy. Just get a nice little splitter to top it off. Here is a link to the guys who did my bumper, they actually paint it themselves so maybe you could request for it to be in primer. Only thing about the bumper is there is a slight gap around the headlights when fitted but really doesn't bother me, if you are giving it to a bodyshop to spray they may be able to fit it nicer than I have. I cant say anything for the £130 one you have found but this one is what I have:

I will be honest and say the splitter isn't the best, ive never done one but the fit is a bit rubbish. Go for a Seat Leon Cupra R one, I heard that you can get them from the dealer cheaper than online second hand but I cant confirm that is true. Here is the link to mine:
