- Hi Everyone, hope you keeping well!
Finally the car is completed and fixed, I managed to get the R32 Replica Bumper trimmed and fitted then I added a Leon cupra R splitter to finish it off.

Looking great man agree it looks much better without the number plate plinth. Black badge would look good on the front to match the rear ones.

David Kane - To be honest mate I think the OE is easier and less hassle to fit. The only positive thing I see is that my cooling fans cut earlier then they used to so I’m assuming the actual cooling efficiency is a tad better but nothing major.

Nice. Looking to get one. What is the measurement from top of bumper to bottom? What size intercooler. Just trying to figure outif mine would fit. Thanks
Thanks mate, the measurements from bottom of headlights to tip of bumper are approx 37cm that’s not including the Cupra splitter. As far as the intercooler sizes please check the video I made as I put all the exact measurements in that.
Hello mate i want to buy a golf gti 1.8 turbo it has k03s turbo,r8 coil,good inercooler and it has never crashed what do you advise me on doing and checking if it is a good car to buy how can i check ?
Hi Mate that sounds like a decent one to start off with, to be honest the main things I would look at is
- Front wings for rust
- Rear boot lid handle for rust
- Electrics on these cars can be an issue check all doors are opening and windows winding up and down
- Check if oil pick up has been done if not do this asap. Also check for oil leaks.
- Usual smoke test, coolant check if its clean not mixing oil, check oil cap for mayo
- Go through all the gears and boost hard in 3rd to see how it pulls and if the clutch is good.
These are the things that come to mind but to be honest when you drive the car you will know if there is any issues, I might have missed a few things. Good luck mate.

Think I Got them off eBay mate, think they came from China or something but they were a good quality one not some of the rubbish that’s out there.

Hi bro yes I try and and reply all my videos lol, my wheel arches are stock mk4 gti because of my wheel combo at the time it just about worked.

How did you attach the splitter btw :)
With screws mate, I just used some really short small screw from underneath straight in to the splitter and bumper.

igood question, im not sure actually, I think what pits me off is I would have to change my exhaust setup to match the bumper.
