- Häkel zwei Luftmaschen mehr (Wendeluftmaschen), als das Du Maschen für deine Häkelarbeit brauchst. Hole den Faden, der vom Zeigefinger kommt. Schiebe die Häkelnadel von vorn nach hinten durch die drittletzte Luftmasche,
- ein Faden liegt unter der Häkelnadel, zwei Fäden liegen darüber. Hole den Faden wieder.
- Ziehe den gespannten Faden durch die Luftmasche. Auf Deiner Häkelnadel sind jetzt drei Schlingen.
- Hole den Faden, der vom Zeigefinger kommt, und ziehe ihn durch die drei auf der Häkelnadel liegenden Schlingen.
Hole den Faden wieder. Schiebe die Häkelnadel durch die nächste Luftmasche.
- Arbeite so bis zum Ende der Reihe weiter. Häkel zwei Wendeluftmaschen.
- Drehe die Arbeit und beginne wieder mit einem Umschlag, schiebe den Haken durch das erste Stäbchen der Vorreihe.
- Hole den Faden und ziehe ihn durch die Masche. Auf der Häkelnadel liegen jetzt drei Schlingen. Hole den Faden und ziehe ihn durch die drei Schlingen.
- Am Ende der Arbeit schneidest Du den Faden ab und ziehst ihn durch die letzte Masche.

- Work two chain stitches more (turning chain stitches) than the number of stitches required for your pattern. Take up the thread coming from your index finger. Insert the hook from front to back into the third chain stitch,
- with one thread under the hook and two above. Take up the thread again.
- Draw the stretched thread through the chain stitch. Now there are three loops on your crochet hook.
- Take up the thread coming from your index finger and draw it through the three loops on the hook.
- Take up the thread again. Insert the hook into the next chain stitch.
- Continue working in this manner to the end of the row. Work two turning chain stitches.
- Turn your work and start again by winding the thread round the hook, insert the hook into the first treble of the previous row.
- Take up the thread and draw it through the stitch. Now there are three loops on your hook. Take up the thread and draw it through the three loops.
- At the end of your work, cut the thread and pull it through the last stitch.
