- Gary Moore performed for the first time old and new rock songs on the 22nd Mai in Trondheim. He formed a new band with Neil Carter on keyboard/2nd guitar, Jon Noyce on bass and Darrin Mooney on drums. This tune I uploaded is one of the new songs and will be released at the beginning of 2011 on his new Celtic-Rock album.
Let me tell you my opinion: This is absolutely AWESOME!!!!!!

This is a Gary Moore classic in my view. Seeing him play this song at Montreux 2010 with Neil Carter, Jonathan Noyce and Darren Mooney was for me classic interraction to accommodate Gary's ability to off script with screaming solo's straight from his soul. A legend that played with his heart, face and soul all at the same time. Rest In Peace Brother.

His guitar technique stlll keeps getting better! Great song and playing. I think the new album's going to be ib the long awaited 'Celtic' style.

I love this song!!!! I can feel that this one is going to be another Gary Moore classic. I cant wait for the new record and the show at Sweden rock Festival.

Gary was one of the most advanced and accomplished electric guitar players I ever saw. It's a shame after what happened to the wild one Phil Lynott, Gary got enough alcohol in his system to die. His blood level was 38 and 40 up to 50 is considered lethal. Maybe it was a heart attack that was coming anyway but to be that intoxicated certainly can't be ruled out. But we have these videos.
I love his way of using irish melodies in rock, this would be a lovely song played on tin whistle as well. That's mainly what I love about him, he is not only able to play his song awsomely well, he also knows how to write truly masterpiece songs.
@FischKopfD Well, actually he said that he has to release this summer his last Blues album (that's because his contract with his record label), but then he wants to release at the beginning of 2011 that Hardrock album... Under another record label.
@dirmo77 - Yes, it´s a BIG shame that we will never hear this great song, thanks to "frusciantefreak1994" for posting this songs. My hope lies on an posthum album with Pre-Production-Songs from Gary Moore !

@Rockdrummer71 Same here. I hope that he recorded some demos of the songs that were going to be on the celtic rock album. The other guys in the band could overdub their instruments.

Man, I hope he finished recording the new album, the new material sounds AWESOME. After having a really crap week from the bad news, finding out about these tracks really cheered me up :D
