The Gary Moore Experience
Abdul matin
Excellent musicien il et dans sa musique 🎸
Saw what you did there... 😉 2 guitar masters gone too soon.
Wow, very nice, Gary.
🤣
Gary Moore. Every guitarist on this planet was in awe of him! Simple as that!
True!
Indeed, it's very sad he isn't here anymore, fantastic guitarist and , like several others, an immense musical understanding., listen to his teens, unbelievable.
Totally agree mate.
Maybe everyone except Jeff Beck.
As a singer for 35+ years, and listening tonight, it was his vocal timing and phrasing that influenced me the most, even though, until now, I never thunk it
Phenomenal talent, beyond most of all others guitarists ! RIP Gary.
This is Probably the Best Cover of Hey Joe for the last 50 years
with Stevie Ray Vaghan -Voo Doo child
Roy Buchanan..
i agree but please watch the Joscho Stephan trio playing Hey Joe another style but omg.
Check out Josho Stephan on the acoustic version.
Roy Buchanan :-)
He's really honoring Jimi. So sincerely.
i have heard a full concert of him playing jimi only, tremendous, and i confirm, sure he Loved him !
And here, don't we have Mitch Mitchell and Cox ?
Yes he did! He admired Jimmy Hendrix Sooo Much that was one of his 🎸Hero's ✌️💋🍀
You are so right, you can tell there is so much love and respect in those notes, and the whole vibe altogether.
The strat definitely sends it home too 👌🏼
Like him and Jimi was roommates
Gary Moore, Mitch Mitchell and Billy Cox... Closest thing to a Hendrix reunion you could get
I know I seen the bass player before he played with Jimmy, Buddy Miles in Band of Gypsies
Nailed each words you said
Mr Moore grabbed the spirit, no one I've ever heard could have taken it closer. 24th December 2020 a great present for now and forever 🎄😎
Most definitely. I agree. I met both Mitch and Billy. I never got to see Gary.
Get out!!!! that is MM??? wow!!!
Alot of guitarists have played this song but Gary Moore nailed it here!
The whole album🎸💯
SRV
@@kevinlloyd5634 SRV only did “voodoo child” and “little wing” and “3rd stone . Gary Moore basically did a whole live album🎸👍🏼
@@coonjamalay Popa plays the hell out of it
he Jimied that mo-fo
Hendrix would have loved Gary's version,, We miss you man !
Both of them😞
🔥 genius
R.I.P Gary, You're Still The Best...🙏💔💯
Alright you convinced me. This dude is a sick guitar player. Hendrix would be proud...
I close my eyes and I hear Jimi....
I don’t think you can get anyone to do a Hendrix cover better than the great Gary Moore , this is absolutely superb to say the very least.
Only Gary and Stevie dialed in.
Only other guitarist I can think of is Randy Hansen
Roy Buchanan did it best, check out the Austin City Limits concert you'll be surprised
Couldn’t have said it better myself 🤘🏻🤘🏻😎😎😎
@@MB-jg4tr great example
The world was Blessed with one Gary Moore. RIP. You were the greatest.
Mitch mitchel was still incredible at drums at this age🤯
Gary had an attack that would peel the enamel off your teeth and could bend a note around a parking meter and bring it back clean! Pure fire and passion! Missed by millions.
Yeah ! Shite sake !!!!!! Shaved the beard off my face and l am still not sure how it happened ?.......Ta ! ❤
I'm not going to get into a debate on who was better JH, SRV, etc - I'm just gonna say this was one hell of a performance!
Holy shite
Well said, i never get involved with all those ''one eyed'' fans.!!!
And I agree he rocks it well all three of them do
N McG They are ALL fuckin great!
I don't think there is a "greatest" player. They all play on a genius level.
I love all these variations. They're all extremely unique Guitarists - unique being the critical word. It would be a boring world if they all sounded the same, from phrases to tone. Much like the gene pool, we need variation...different interpretations.
R.I.P. Gary Moore! Another Irish guitar god gone too early.
i´ll never forget you gary you will be in my heart till i die
No one can play Hendrix like Him !!!
Even Jimi jumps from the tumb and and comes watch Hey Joe by Gary and his old buddies❤😂😂😂.
As they say. I doesn’t get better.
Been a fan for years. I never saw this til today. DAMN! I was watching Jimmy Buffett tributes and somehow I got to this.
best version ever!!
The best version ever hearded!!!
With Slash is good too😎
Hey you ever heard of Stevie Ray Vaughan but they're both great guitarists
In all of Europe the best of the best is Gary Moore. You can literally hear pain & truth in his playing. Best lead guitarist by far.
Best by far? rory gallagher would like to have a word.
@@anton2417 + ALVIN LEE and Johnny Winter. Hi.
And Steve Rey Vaughan
in your mind
InEurope
Lets have Rory join him
In America I’ll take Stevie and the Johnny Winter followed by James Marshall Hendrix
One of the great "rockers" out of Ireland------RIP Gary Moore !!
Simply the best! The one....
Nothing, nothing, nothing like a great trio playing blues wide open...the way it’s meant to be
Respect ❤
Mitch Mitchel only lived a few months after this performance. It is good to see he got one more shot at performing excellence.
nine months later, that guitar gave birth to a healthy baby-strat
+Teeth Richards and a bass.
Teeth Richards
Hahaha - that is hilarious!!
LOL
Gary is just on another level to most other mere mortal guitarists. What a guy. Incredible command over the guitar. Dripping with passion.
I am undone……………
I think Jimi would've been wowed as Gary was wowed by Hendrix. Incredible.
How sick is that? Gary Moore jamming with the 2 other members from the Jimi Hendrix experience. Its pretty beast!
xvz
Dwayne Lunderstedt That's just how much respect they have for Gary. Or else they'd never play with him at all..
Nope. One from the band of gypsies. Billy Cox.
@@sezles1 agreed
not JHE
He is with two members of The Band of Gypsies although Mitch Mitchell was also in the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Billy Cox is the last surviving member of either of those two lineups, 80 years of age today. Quite an achievement given their lifestyles.
Criminally underrated guitarist, make no mistake he was one of the very best, his fretboard knowledge is second to none, I couldn’t believe the news he has died, he had so so much more to give, a phenomenal talent
I think Jimmy got up and danced the whole way through, just soul wrenchingly beautiful!
Couldn’t agree more. Absolutely sensational guitarist. Raw, unfiltered talent. Hugely missed.
I agree with you about how good he is, but he's definitely not underrated. I'm not sure why ppl say that really.
not underrated at all. Not really one of the greats if you compare him to others like Gilmour, blackmore, satriani Vai, knopfler, ect ect ect
@Gus Shredney I was referring to technique and ability, not genre. If you want to compare good blues guitarists, Moore isn't in the conversation.
No one has risen to this level and claimed his crown since his passing.
Most people on this planet just don't know, they are not to blame. I just had to hear Hey Joe again and the two Hendrix versions have been drummed into the walls. This is fresh air for an absolute CLASSIC song and who better to take our hands than the most humble Mr Gary Moore from Belfast, departed, but while I live, not forgotten.
Gary with a strat is beyond words..
Gary Moore is the best guitarist I've ever heard. He is what I call a guitar god. A true master of his art and a legend that will never be forgotten. May he rest in peace.
I agreed with you
YES INDEED DAMN THAT MAN CAN PLAY
@@Michael Kelly
Stevie ''was'' to, their both gone now, but there legacy goes on. Stevie another level ?? I have stacks of SRV albums and some rarities as i have lot's of GM albums & some rarities, as much as i love SRV, Gary Moore takes the money for Voodoo Child.!!! Watch & listen to this Voodoo Child version by GM, please don't be ''one eyed'', i'm not.!!
ruclips.net/video/h448aMqexuo/видео.html Gary Moore - Voodoo Child - HD
@Michael Kelly NOBODY played this better than Gary except Jimi and even that's debatable !
Gary moor and David Gilmour are out of this world
Damn !!!! G Moore was all over this !
Never be another Gary Moore just an amazing individual the feelings he put into playing the guitar it becomes part of him like his right arm out of this world
This guy was one of greats , I can never turn off a Gary video
Avec Billy Cox et Mitch Mitchell, les musiciens de Jimi Hendrix, énorme ! Mythique !
Magnificent.
The best guitarist I ever heard
Gary could jam, and his tone was always killer!!!
And hard to replicate
Gary was amazing. What a legend
Being 2 and is a big compliment on this cut..🎸☮️🌲🍺
Just sensational. What a loss that Gary went so early. He had such attitude, showmanship and incredible technique on the guitar. I always thought that he was the greatest Hendrix interpreter. I never heard anyone else play Red House as well as he did. To those neigh-sayers, I don't give a fuck what you think, because Gary was the real deal.
Злой рок не дает жить великим гитаристам.
Как уберечь великих?
The best Hendrix interpreter is Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Again different styes , and i do believe had an edge on stevie
He was incredible of his own right, that's the only reason he could play Hendrix in his own way effortlessly
AMEN.
NOTHING LIKE A GREAT GUITARIST 🎸
Gary Moore and Hendrix's band members! Dammm!
Moore does the tribute for sure.
Good Gary...
Only Gary Moore could play with Hendrix band and do it justice. .....No one else RIP gary
SRV?
RANDY HANSEN?

Maybe Rory Gallagher could of and Ritchie Blackmore

There aren't enough words in the English language to describe how wickedly bad ass this....Just wow!!
Gary Moore was the beginning and the end. Never will be another.R.I.P.
AMEN !!! So sorely missed, love him for ever.
My oh My I saw jimi play this and now Gary . What guitar player they were. RIP J and G
Beautiful Gary you da man brother RIP
don't get better than this
Gary’s playing dynamic is incredible. The clean, driven, and hard driven sounds are all from his hand and a little volume control on his strat. Amazing feel!
This is why I want to believe in heaven ..... ssuch talent cannot just die and end ....
I really believed that this song couldn't get any better. Not the first time I've been wrong.
Gary Moore was and is one of the best guitarists
gary is a shredder with feel..this is awesome.
Simple words can not describe how damn good this is!!
Gary Moore was a brilliant musician. Rest in peace!
nfortunately, I also had the private experience that the best go first and you alone as an old age to look at today's shit alone without having anyone, except for 1 or 2, with whom you can talk openly! Tears come to Gary Moore!
Gary RIP Very good player
WOW he is a real one R.I.P. Gary Moore
I would call that the Gary Moore Experience! What a tribute ! r I p to two wizards.
Gary Moore, a god damn guitar legend
RIP TRUE BLUESMAN GARY MOORE !!!
best version ever. nobody can top this
SRV
@@sandragriffiths9692 nope. No disrespect to the incredible Stevie Ray Vaughan, he was not on Gary's level.
@@jeffzachritz8879 I love them both, they were different kinds of players, both amazing, dedicated and lived for the guitar and in Gary's case eventuallg the blues. RIP both, they are greatly missed. Even those that have never heard them are in for a treat when they do, thanks to RUclips, they will live on forever and gain more and more fans
Let's not forget about Poppa Chubby's version, absolutely incredible.

hey gary,,,,,my heart is burninig when you play guitar
This is what it sounds like when a guitar is directly connected to a masters heart and mind. I think even Jimmy is like - hell man, this guy sounds better than me. Imagine that jam session up there beyond the veil.......
Someone took a survey asking several professional, rock guitarists...out of all the guitarists that you know who is (in your opinion) the most polished and complete player amongst you and your cohorts? Gary Moore's name kept coming up time and time again...RIP
Gary
It was really masterpiece and it became masterpiece twice)
MISS THIS GUY!!!
My god this cover is beyond this world. Also, those fast runs done with great emotion are so amazing.
Fantastic cover very very Typical Gary Moore in his own style..beautiful tone..what a sad loss to the music world R.I.P

Is Mitch gone to?
Just came across this concert. Makes the hair on my neck stand on end, I shudder at Gary`s playing. Pure brilliance. Sadly missed ....
All these years later, that note & riff at 5:24 to 5:27 still gives me chills. The man could make it sing 🎸
Well what can you, simply, Gary Moore in virtuoso beast mode. No one better 😎
DAMMIT,DAMMIT,DAMMIT!!!!!!MY SHOES ARE SMOKIN!!!,God bless Gary,he lived a good life!!
I'm a new Gary Moore convert and I'm so grateful to have found him! I'm a blues guitarist and SRV is my guy but Gary is also a Guitar Master!!!! Rip Gary Moore
Gary Moore.Pour all his emotion into his playing but...with control❤❤❤
Gary f♤♡♧◇n' Moore, one of the very best! RIP! Thanks, Gary!
Gary was amazing, I saw him in 1987 on the Wild Frontiers tour, at an small club in Anaheim (Jezzabells) could hold maybe 200 people, stood 10 feet from Gary and was a witness to guitargoddom....RIP Gary
Its upsetting to listen to Gary now, his connection and his fluidity were second to none.
He playing and feel reduces me to tears. RIP Mr Moore
He had so much you can not play like that if you didn’t believe you can see it in him
Gary moore what a talent he was
RIP Gary,your music,stay with us,as we still alive,who remember you,and your music,.Great guitarist,.
