Let's not forget Jonathan Noyce { ex Jethro Tull bass guitarist } on bass here with Gary and Neil, also very underrated by many! Neil was the music master at the very posh Brighton College near my home, I just wish I'd met the man, he's a top geezer in my opinion!
It makes me so happy and cry to see Gary and Neil together again. What a great uplifting song to go out on. Gary's playing is on fire! One day I hope to go to Gary's grave site. Man deserves so much respect. One of the greatest guitar players to ever live. So much passion. RIP
Neil Carter was the music master at Brighton college for 21 years, leaving there in June 2014! What pisses me off is that I live maybe 3/4 of a mile from there and never met the man, I highly rate his playing and would have loved to have met him! He plays lots of instruments and is also a well respected musical examiner at national level! I'll just bet he has a wicked sense of humour too! Seeing Neil jumping around like a 'wild one' never fails to make me smile, we should all do silly stuff occasionally if it makes us happy!
That's right. Brothers always fight and sometimes it lasts for years, but in the end, it's your brother. What can you do but forgive, forget and move on. I had a difficult relation with one of my elder brothers and we largely fell out for something like 9 years. When he and his family eventually moved away to another country, we had a tearful embrace. I think we both knew we would never see each other again and both regretted the lost time. Such is life...
Gary's sister Patricia is a friend of mine, we met at the gathering for Gary here in Brighton last year and we keep in touch regularly now! She lives in Weston Super Mare, how rock and roll is that? :-D We're having another Gathering for Gary in April, can't wait!
Thank you, Patricia is a real down to earth person, she swears like a trooper, likes a laugh and a drink or two and would give you her last penny if you needed it! She's a good friend to have, and I really appreciate her as a friend!
I think, that his new album would be a good one, because 3 of the 4 new songs were fantastic. But when I see these viedeos, it really hurts me,because he was looking so bad.RIP
Gary and Phil up there together again, bet they still party ever single night, there won't be many virginal hand maidens up there when Phil has finished!
No, this is one of three songs played on this tour that Gary had written for an album he was working on at the time of his death. Aside from bootegs from the same tour, this live album is the only place you'll be able to hear it.
Thanks for the reply. I do have the DVD release of this amazing performance, but was curious to see if there was a studio version. It's a shame that it never got that far. I went to see Gary in Liverpool when Corridors Of Power came out. Seems like another lifetime.
The jammin' session in Heaven between Moore & Lynott must be mighty!
Gary 'We want More!!' Moore had found his mojo prior to his sad passing !!! To the Greatest Guitarist RIP GARY!!!!
Neil Carter throwing shapes like it was 1988 fantastic. Gary and Neil together was awesome.

Guitar legend, and very sadly missed. Rest in peace Gary. Brilliant rhythm guitar from the very underrated Neil Carter.

"we used to fight but then we always got togheter again". Somebody else who believes that this song is about Phil Lynott?
Andre Norman Of course it was about Phil! Phil WAS a wild man, and he and Gary were like brothers, made some legendary music together

Very nice video and I assume that it was the last concert of Gary.
The video is on my facebook
Rock on, basic stuff but I never tire of it.
Gary and Phil up there together again, bet they still party ever single night, there won't be many virginal hand maidens up there when Phil has finished!

An amazing song that I'd never have heard if it wasn't for this release! Is this also on any studio album? I can't find it listed anywhere.
