So either they make life easier for themselves and be welcoming, or fruitlessly fight with the person recording, as long as the person isn't interfering which in my opinion, they are because they're really close and kind of in the way

Your videos have made me become such a more careful driving. I live here in California and it’s crazy how bad people drive here. I always try to make sure there’s no one passing me after a light turns green….you just never know

Me too. When I took drivers Ed many years ago. I had to watch film with car wrecks and those were very graphic. Never forgot them. I personally I think every high school student should have watch these.

Pretty amazing that the small Nissan Versa took the T-bone probably at at least 40+miles an hour right in the drivers door area by an SUV and the woman is still in that condition, conscious, not bleeding from the head, able to move her arms. Safety has improved dramatically especially for subcompact cars it’s really good to see👌💯

Definitely an improvement over cars of the past. However, I think the car could have fared way better. I'd like to see a VW Jetta in the same crash, or another compact vehicle that uses high strength materials.

RIGHT PASSED a waiting ambulance obviously at an accident scene trying to leave with their LIGHTS AND SIREN AND AIR HORN all activated! My husband has been a first responder for 32 yrs now and I'm ASTOUNDED at the amount of public ignorance with what to EFFing do when an emergency vehicle is trying to move! 🤨🤨 When in doubt, always always yield (that means STOP!🙄) and if you are unsure what they want to do , just watch or roll down window and listen & they will let you know! This situation was obviously a major accident site, so cars should be treading very slow and careful to begin with! Those asshats in the cars that blocked and passed in front of that ambulance should have been stopped and sited! It's NOT rocket science people! Please use common sense! SMH!!!

This is why I ALWAYS pause when the light changes. Without fail there's always someone racing to beat the light. I almost got taken out by a semi doing 60 in a 35 zone. If I went when the light changed I'd be dead. I had to pull over for awhile. That freaked me out.
Same thing happened to me. My passenger was saying go, go, go because I paused when the light turned green and just then a semi plowed through the intersection doing at least 50 in a 30. There is no way we would have walked away from that and I looked at my passenger and said if I had went, went, went we would be dead, dead, dead and that is why I do not jump a green light.
I had a similar experience at a motorway off-ramp. Light turned green for me to turn right but I paused (was at night) only for a van to go speeding through (his light was red) would have taken me out on the drivers side and likely killed me

On July 24th 2021 My husband and I were driving down the road (Speed limit 40) went through a green light and POOF!!!! A kid ran a red light going over 70mph in a 35mph/school zone and we T-boned him. My front end of my car was gone and the kids car flipped. A deputy at the light caught it on his dash cam. I did a couple videos on my channel about it with pics and videos. Riding/driving a car has forever changed me.
If you were t-boned at 70, I absolutely promise you you would not be here posting about it. I’d make that promise at 50. He may have been going 70 but there was absolutely speed shedding and actual impact was much less. No car, I mean no car, can protect you from a 70 mph tbone. It’s physically impossible. The human body cannot withstand such forces. Crash science expert here been studying for over 30 years. Many people think because they’ve owned a car and know what airbags are they’re qualified to comment on car biomechanics and safety

Honestly, my husband and I team drove a semi truck and the majority of distracted drivers are those like that woman. One woman was doing her makeup, eating, drinking and on her phone while in high traffic. As soon as traffic slowed to a crawl (in L.A.) My husband laid on his air horn and she flipped us off. They won’t learn. They think their identity is the only thing that matters and their actions only effect themselves. It’s sad.

So based on what's stated here, the driver of the Nissan is totally at fault without question. If the Honda driver was going through the intersection at a yellow light that would mean that the cross-traffic would have already been stopped waiting for the light to turn green. The Nissan driver must have been totally distracted or something to just blitz through a red light. I assume that no other cars were waiting at the red light going in her direction and maybe there was no cross-traffic at the moment she approached the intersection that would have caught her attention then BAM!
I still do not understand why southern california most especially always has twice as many city employees (fire and law units) half of them are always standing around "supervising" and drawing a paycheck for nada... like cmon, you claim shortage of workers but every week i see you all standing around talking back to one another while 3 or 4 people tops can do the work.
Too many people in my hometown of San Diego now which in part was why I felt I HAD to leave back in 2006. 300,000 when I was born there. Now 3.5 MILLION! The influx completely ruined what was once a PARADISE.
I am a native SoCal gal, born in Chula Vista and lived the first 45 years of my life in that area. Drove in San Diego many times, down from Oceanside. Hubby and I left in mid-1995. It's too bad, because SoCal was once such a beautiful area. Now, it's wall-to-wall people. Partly because of all the illegal immigrants who settle there, and partly because of folks moving there from the midwest and other U.S. regions because of the year-around nice climate. When I lived down there, heat waves in January weren't uncommon, and one could garden throughout the year. The beaches were nice, too, until recently. Now, my home state has become a cesspool, and it's just a crying shame!

Statistics have shown that if people pay attention and follow the laws of driving, the likely hood of crashing greatly decreases. A yellow light is a caution light, warning the driver it's about to turn red. One is supposed to slow down so they can safely stop when it turns.

Honestly, my husband and I team drove a semi truck and the majority of distracted drivers are those like that woman. One woman was doing her makeup, eating, drinking and on her phone while in high traffic. As soon as traffic slowed to a crawl (in L.A.) My husband laid on his air horn and she flipped us off. They won’t learn. They think their identity is the only thing that matters and their actions only effect themselves. It’s sad.

Getting t-boned is never good, especially on any side a driver/passenger is. Always cross check your intersections as your green light means nothing.
I believe, there should be atleast 3 seconds wait for the next in line traffic light to turn to green after the other traffic light turns red. This will avoid any collisions for any red light jumpers.

So based on what's stated here, the driver of the Nissan is totally at fault without question. If the Honda driver was going through the intersection at a yellow light that would mean that the cross-traffic would have already been stopped waiting for the light to turn green. The Nissan driver must have been totally distracted or something to just blitz through a red light. I assume that no other cars were waiting at the red light going in her direction and maybe there was no cross-traffic at the moment she approached the intersection that would have caught her attention then BAM!

Too many people in my hometown of San Diego now which in part was why I felt I HAD to leave back in 2006. 300,000 when I was born there. Now 3.5 MILLION! The influx completely ruined what was once a PARADISE.

I am a native SoCal gal, born in Chula Vista and lived the first 45 years of my life in that area. Drove in San Diego many times, down from Oceanside. Hubby and I left in mid-1995. It's too bad, because SoCal was once such a beautiful area. Now, it's wall-to-wall people. Partly because of all the illegal immigrants who settle there, and partly because of folks moving there from the midwest and other U.S. regions because of the year-around nice climate. When I lived down there, heat waves in January weren't uncommon, and one could garden throughout the year. The beaches were nice, too, until recently. Now, my home state has become a cesspool, and it's just a crying shame!

Statistics have shown that if people pay attention and follow the laws of driving, the likely hood of crashing greatly decreases. I don’t understand what’s so difficult about using a little sense when driving. Yes, the occasional medical emergency or mechanical failure but lets cate it, most wrecks are human stupidity.
If everyone followed the rules of the road, there would be no accidents.
