      @-ca-- You can't really compare the two. You're talking about actual accidents. Freak accidents you really have zero control of. But you do have control of how you drive. If you choose to speed, drive recklessly, drive under the influence, drive like an idiot and not pay attention, you're putting your life at risk and worse innocent people's lives at risk.

    What most of you dont get is, if he rear ended that Mazda at high speed, his car likely wedged underneath the Mazda, making it slide up over the hood, into the cabin area, of the Tesla, because of the cars, shape and design. Its explains the damage and the injuries of the Tesla driver.

  • @N0xiety
    @N0xiety Год назад +11

    Many people seem to think that because the tesla is so crumpled, it's a sign of bad quality. Which is a pretty ignorant pov, as it's actually good for tesla to be so crumpled, or the guy would likely be dead instead of barely alive. It also didn't seem like the damage intruded into the driver space even if the car is crumpled, so that's pretty much the best you can hope for, but the extent of the damage still looks strange. This can't just be a simple rear end, everything about the tesla is fked. Even the both rear wheels are off and there are side impact craters.
    It is likely that this wasn't the case of a tesla rear ending a completely stopped mazda on the highway, it likely happened as the mazda was traveling at fairly regular speed, and tesla came in at significantly higher speed. Likely over 100mph, so mazda got rear ended, and that somehow sent tesla into a spin, or tesla lost control and smacked the concrete barrier before rear ending the mazda.
    The impact to concrete barrier seems to have been quite intense too to tear off both rear wheels and crumpled the rear of the tesla all around. Looking at the placement of the cars, the mazda is somehow looking at the back side of tesla. And seeing the direction the fire truck is facing, it seems that after the rear ending, tesla somehow ended up in front of the mazda. It even seems like the mazda hit the tesla one last time before they came to a stop. So it seems that only part of the energy of tesla was transferred to the mazda during the rear ending, and the tesla driver got impacts from all around. Anyways, whatever really happened, definitely significant speed involved.

    One of the worst accidents I’ve seen… obviously speed was a factor here. Do we know if any of the first responders smelled alcohol on this guy? Was his speedometer visible? Did he put the car on autopilot and fell asleep? I would like to know where he was at this time of the night… so many questions and no answers. Was he catching a plane? Why was he on the road at this hour? This is someone’s son, as a mom my heart breaks for him and his family seeing him injured and being pulled out of this tangled mess. Honestly, it would answer a lot of questions if follow-ups were performed afterwards so we could get some info on his condition… the way he’s positioned on the stretcher suggests a spinal cord injury? So sad and traumatic for all involved🥺 first responders are angels in disguise… total rock stars in my book!! Huge respect to the men and women on the front lines. They see us in the worst possible situation, take incredible care of us, and deal with their own demons afterwards! People, please slow down and pay attention to the road… the life you save may be your own. Prayers going out to this young man, his family and all our brave first responders❤ I hope he recovers and has no long lasting injuries💔

      @@post1ronia I’ve seen my share of bad accidents. Two stick out to me. A woman flipped her SUV after hitting a pole with her two daughters in the vehicle. Speed was a factor, she sped by us, lost control and hit the pole then flipped. We stopped, got her and her daughters out of the vehicle and left when first responders arrived. The second accident also involved speed. A woman flipped her vehicle and landed in the median upside down. She was trapped, her teenage son made it out of the vehicle with minor injuries. We stayed with her until first responders arrived, she was trapped in the wreckage and just wanted us to bring her son to her so she could see for herself he wasn’t badly injured.

    Those Mazda CX-9s are strong, such a safe nimble car. Have have had to swerve hard at 60mph. She would stick like glue. (The all new CX-90s are even stronger).

    c'est curieux. nous en France on ne déplace pas le brancard avec les pieds devant (les pieds devant c'est quand la victime est décédée).

    I can tell that man is going to be in a lot of pain for a long time. Chronic pain is horrible. 😢
    I extremely surprised it didn't burst into flames with all of the cutting going on. Maybe they disconnected the battery first? I have concerns about people who buy electric vehicles. 🤔
