A complete waste of time, energy and resources, comes with obligations and responsibilities, and inevitably before it eventually ends, will be filled drama, burdens and in many cases, abuse, cheating and ruin (financial, emotional, health etc). Similar to life, in relationships the supposed 'positives', if they are even present, don't compensate for the negatives.
I think my 2nd oldest bro found that out the hard way, every relationship he's ever been in turned sour really quick. I'm honestly very happy that I never had to go through any of that. All so often media likes to present to us that the concept of love and relationships are something deeper based on a selfless desire but it's almost always basic instincts. I come from the generation where everyone in my class were always talking about how little miss shawty was "hot" or "fine" or "Ohhh she a bad b*tch" When I was in 5th grade this new girl we got on the bus judged everyone's appeal based on how tall and good looking they were. No way in hell can anyone ever tell me that relationships are anything other than animalistic instinct.
Im 38 and never felt any desire for women. Ive never had a crush on a woman or girl. I do not even understand why men are drawn into romance, relationships, and marriage with women. Whatever it is, it is not in me and never was. Ive never been in a relationship, and ive never even kissed any girl, nor do I ever want to. I’m quite sure if I live to my elderly years, this will not have changed. I just despise how society is ok with women who want to be independent of marriage and relationships like they are empowered, but if your a man in the same scenario you are seen as unspeakable or evil.
I hear you there, I've never kissed a girl and don't plan on it. This guy I used to know called me out on it years ago trying to ask me about why I thought this way, and he just didn't want to respect the possibility that this whole relationship shit just wasn't for me, he started insinuating that I was insecure and shit. Like lol okay, whatever🙄I just don't get the big appeal of it, like when you hear the saying " It was love at first sight" nah dude that's lust, you're just having a biological primal reaction as a way of your body urging you to reproduce. THATS IT! I don't even think love is a real thing out here, but people like my mom who fell in love with my looser biological dad and later complacent beta stepdad seems to think so, it's all just nonsense in my opinion.
Cutting to the chase on this subject, the bottom line is NEVER force something to happen - never force a response, action, or feeling from another person - opposite sex or not. Never chase anyone. There was an R&B song back in the 70's entitled "If It Don't Fit, Don't Force It". That's it in a nutshell. If you force or chase someone, you are actually disrespecting yourself. And you're absolutely right about the fact that you better get used to being by yourself because you're born alone and you die alone. Any relationship you may cultivate NATURALLY is just icing on the cake. The cake (the "substance") of your life and existence is YOU, which is the most important part. Craving relationships that don't come naturally leaves you wide open to hurt, which means you are constantly in a state of vulnerability. So, YES, hang onto your art (your passion which is also a gifted talent) - hang onto YOU. A peace comes through that which is priceless.

You right same stupid experience you may be suitable but since you aren’t perfect you get rejected. In my case women would approach me because of my looks but they change their mind and move on quickly, I even got rejected by a girl for being too cute for her, and the thing is I wasn’t even trying to talk to her, I was meeting up with some friends and she happened to be there said what she said and walked off, and I’m thinking wtf was that about ? 🤣
If you want or really need a companion, then forget people, just buy a dog or cat. They will love you and usually always want to be by your side if you take care of them with none of the malice and danger of human malevolence like greed, judgementalism, small mindedness, cruelty, et cetera.

i got like 7 stray cats, two kittens and five adults that commune around my place 😂 I feed them everyday too
