As a woman I avoid tinder and online dating in general now because I just assume most people want something casual and it burns you out dating constantly. I think we need to all take a step back, look at the bigger picture, STOP blaming everyone else for our own problems (i.e women/men/non-binary people aren’t trash just people YOU can’t get a relationship and get laid, there’s so many external factors and by coming online and bashing people you’re just making yourself look shitty. And nobody wants to date shitty people). I think more people need to just shoot their shots too, everyone is so used to the instant connection and validation from the internet and apps that asking someone out irl has become even more stressful. I get what you're saying about letting go of the idea that your first girlfriend will be your last girlfriend. I'm in the same boat. Honestly, I need to let go of that too. A relationship starts differently for me in comparison to how relationships conventially start, so maybe it's not "my-first-girlfriend-must-be-my-last-girlfriend" that I need to let go of but rather "my-first-date-will-be-my-last-date" because that's the mentality I've had for a *long* time. I've had that 'first girlfriend, last girlfriend' ever since I was a little boy. That is *not* a good one to have. Do not have that mindset. It's terrible and could prevent you from living the life you're supposed to and learning the things you're supposed to. I'm 26 almost 27, and have never even had a date. I think I am low on confidence as well, but I have made big steps these last few years.... I think the difficulty for me is that I have aspergers and I really struggle to pick up on social cues and signs. If a girl is giving me hints I don't register them at all.... so In my eyes I don't think I've ever been called attractive by a girl or hit on by a girl, but it's possible I've just been unable to pick up on subtle hints. The issue is I haven't gotten hints or compliments that even if a girl said straight up to my face that she liked me, I would think she would be pulling my leg for a prank to make fun of me to her friends. I hope I can find someone eventually, but I think I have to keep working at myself for a bit longer, but it is frustrating.

Granted I've never dated; but there is more to life than dating. I think it's more important to find yourself and to love yourself before you commit to dating. As cliche as it sounds, You have to find your true meaning and find what makes you truly happy first. I feel like our generation is kinda the first that’s ‘grown up’ with online dating and that’s had a huge effect on how we broach the topic of relationships. I’m 20 and have also never had a relationship for various reasons, but I don’t think we make it easy for ourselves these days. Dating apps enhance our need for validation, it’s quick and easy for us to just keep swiping and keep matching, it’s an instant dopamine hit. I think so many of us see ourselves through our digital perspective which is totally visual, so we don’t even consider the possibilities of meeting someone ‘naturally’ and the many characteristics you have as a person that come into play in that situation. Things are so quick. Not every person on a dating app is a fuck-person, I’ve seen a lot of guys in the comments saying women only wanna fuck on tinder but honestly it goes both ways. As a woman I avoid tinder and online dating in general now because I just assume most people want something casual and it burns you out dating constantly. I think we need to all take a step back, look at the bigger picture, STOP blaming everyone else for our own problems (i.e women/men/non-binary people aren’t trash just people YOU can’t get a relationship and get laid, there’s so many external factors and by coming online and bashing people you’re just making yourself look shitty. And nobody wants to date shitty people). I think more people need to just shoot their shots too, everyone is so used to the instant connection and validation from the internet and apps that asking someone out irl has become even more stressful. Hey guys , I work as an online game presenter ( blackjak , roulette etc. ) . I have numerous female colleagues . I have good relations with many of them , but still there are those who don't like me , or at least pretend not to . So guys , while you're getting sad for not having had a girlfriend , I at my workplace am struggling to understand who is really good and who is not . Having a gf is a good thing , but being surrounded with many girl and not getting a real action sucks . I don't have problems neither with confidence nor speech , girls are just extremly controversial .

Similar situation with me. I’m 19 now and quite a lot of my friends are ether dating or are still dating. I have never dated or kissed a girl before. I did join Tinder for a short time using the free version but I actually couldn’t see who like me with without paying. So annoying! But something tells me that I won’t be able to get a girl sadly. I guess it’s just my low confidence 😢😞
If your like me who is born an Asian male in a non rich family. Chances in my perspective is 1% especially using Tinder. You barely see any Asian males on tinder.

I'm 26 almost 27, and have never even had a date. I think I am low on confidence as well, but I have made big steps these last few years.... I think the difficulty for me is that I have aspergers and I really struggle to pick up on social cues and signs. If a girl is giving me hints I don't register them at all.... so In my eyes I don't think I've ever been called attractive by a girl or hit on by a girl, but it's possible I've just been unable to pick up on subtle hints. The issue is I haven't gotten hints or compliments that even if a girl said straight up to my face that she liked me, I would think she would be pulling my leg for a prank to make fun of me to her friends. I hope I can find someone eventually, but I think I have to keep working at myself for a bit longer, but it is frustrating.
And that frustration can extend to your personal life if your not careful...
This is why socializing is a Good thing... Humans were not designed to be alone.

She was in the same grade as me but we weren't in the same class and she changed school after 10th grade. She is also 21 or maybe 22 now so the same age as me and I followed her on Instagram but she hasn't accepted my follow request yet. I wish she could be my girlfriend now but she is too pretty and I was considered a loser by most guys in my grade in high school so maybe she would still find me lame even though she probably didn't know me properly.
