This is exactly what my Naturopath recommended for my ulcerative colitis. Initially we used Quercetin to stop the bleeding. And NAET (allergy treatments to quickly stop the sensitivities). Once we discovered mold was the main trigger the food sensitivities went away. But minor attacks could still happen, if I over-exposed myself to anything (food or otherwise). Then we rebuilt my gut following exactly these instructions such that over-exposing myself to anything no longer caused attacks. I haven't had an attack in over 11 years and I am able to eat everything. The vegetable broth fast, L-Glutamine, Enzymes and then pre and pro biotics, low carbs (no sugar or wheat), or nightshades and then adding everything back into my diet. It works! After informing my gastro enterologist of my success, he now denies that what I had was ulcerative colitis. Ego
@@egman26 As my naturopath was doing the NAET treatments, I took 2 amino acid complex by Genestra (you can get this on Amazon), with meals,, and two before bed. 1-Glumtamine (you can also get this by Genestra), with meals and 1 before bed. M4 Enzymeswith meals or M6 Enzymes 1/2 an hour before meals and 2 non citrus quercetin by AOR 1/2 an hour before meals and 2 before bed. We also added a powdered pro biotic which I took before bed. This was when my bleeding was at its most severe. After he treated my main triggers (mold and perfume), the food sensitivities were gone. I stayed away from high fiber foods while bleeding, lemon, garlic and onion, replacing onion with leek. And absolutely no added sugars or artificial sweeteners! Get well!
@@donnajohnson3334 It is a travesty that health insurance won't cover Naturopathy and supplements for those who can't recover their health from the conventional medicine. I miraculously came upon the right people at the right time (a guy in a health store who recommended my naturopath and my husband who somehow fell in love with me despite my being sick, without whom I would not have been able to cover the costs. The NAET treatments were 50 dollars each and I would have 1 per week. So $200.00 per month. And the supplements about $140.00 (today maybe $180.00). However, the prescription meds had stopped working and were much more expensive. The doctor said the prescription that would work, other than prednisone, would cost me $1000.00 per month. Wishing you healing vibes. It doesn't hurt to ask a Naturopath if s(he) could give you a consultation. Or to see an MD who is a Functional Medicine practitioner (which would be covered by health insurance.)

I used to take it. Just like the others recommended by doctors, it only masks the problem. Follow the gut reset. Remove dairy and fried foods and breads, control your stress and you’ll be 75% there.
Dr., I'm suffering from Ocular Myasthenia gravis muscle weekness of the eye (eye droopy) please, I need your help. Thanks you
I’d recommend asking this question on the ASK DLG Show. They are every Wednesday at 8:30 am EST and you can find the show on Livingood Daily or on Dr Livingood's Facebook Page. If you haven't opted in already, you can go here m.me/drlivingood?ref=w17361751 and message in during the Live! We always recommend if you have specific concerns with a pre-diagnosed condition and/or your medication that you consult with your physician. This also applies to changing dosages of your medication and discontinuing usage. -LGD Team
Is this only for autoimmune or disease in general
It certainly helps autoimmune diseases but everyone can benefit from a gut reset! -LGD Team
Would fasting for 7+ days help?
Hi! Each individual’s health needs and goals are unique. What works for some individuals, may not work for all. Autophagy is our body’s natural recycling system which cleans out dead cells and body fat. This is what makes rotational fasting more efficient than intermittent-we are able to enter autophagy sooner. Check out this video that cover the benefits of rotational fasting and explains how to implement it into your routine: youtube.pulse.ly/argjeuloht If you’re looking for more help burning fat, check out my fat-burning fasting training: drlivingood.pulse.ly/fzzxze5t4l -LGD Team

I recently developed what I think is histamine intolerance. Im seeing my dermatologist soon because I feel like I’m wearing a wool suit. Not so much itchy but more like fiberglass on my skin. It’s making me nut! I’m trying to figure out what to. The list of no nos on the list of histamine foods and drinks is insane. I wrote down your system 6 step plan. I guess this is gut related? I’m seeing my gastroenterologist on the 9th but I don’t know if he can help. I take omeprazole 10 mg every morning.I read with this issue I need to take famotidine daily as well to calm my gut. Should I not take daily probiotics? How can I find a more laid out plan for me to follow to become well. I take Eliquis due to aorta valve replacement three years ago…losartan, hydrochlorothiazide, Diltiazem, digoxin, Tylenol around the clock for recent knee replacement but for a long time knee joint pain, magnesiums but get confused as which one to take! I read with this problem take Vit c, famtotidine to help with histamine. I have both of your books..can they help me follow a plan?

@@DrLivingood Thank you. I do take Flaxseed Supplement, Garlic and a baby aspirin daily, in addition to Warfarin. My blood is still on the thicker side. I would love to never hear the word Warfarin again, but I'm told I could have another clot if not. When my clot went through my spleen, I was bike riding an hour a day and always keeping active. I am normal weight at 120 lbs with 5.3" height. I'm told this autoimmune disorder will never go away.
