Chapter 21: The Return (24:40)
In this part we establish a truce with two of the Hounds and set sail for Lythos in order to stop Sombron's plans and rescue Veyle before it's too late.

I cannot stress enough how wonderful of a job Reina Ueda did as Veyle.
hard agree she was absolutely brilliant!!
22:26 Hey! At least Marni tried to change. Cut her some slack.
1:02:40 this is one of the best boss battle theme in the series
Definitely. Defective Frenzy is a great theme.
Marni is but another enemy General whose DEF isn't as high as the class advertised itself as.
In past games, Generals didn't have that much DEF compared to other classes' STR, and constantly took physical damage, even if it was just a few points. Coupled with bad speed and accuracy, and they'd often lose out in one-on-one fights.
Here, Marni gets effortlessly OHKOd by Zephia, with a Dagger no less, the weakest out of all physical weapons. All in a game where armors actually had good DEF for once...
13:31 I would also be silent towards my enemies, especually if they talk with certain affableness that masks their cruelty.
15:58 nothing but lies.
20:33 such false sadness disgusts me.
22:33 wait a minute, those things can only have a max speed of 6!? Lmao, didn't know that. I'm guessing this makes them the FE class with the lowest speed cap in the series.
24:09 yeah, his only bane IIRC was low luck, but he's still a decent character to use.
25:13 it's always satisfying to see wyrms get one shot by Panette.
Come to think of it, if the helmet was intact by the moment Sombron raised Gradlon back, the helmet would've been indestructible...
Couldn’t they have kept cracking it?
@@TMX1138 They wouldn't be able to even crack it if Gradlon's power was restored. Veyle was only able to break free because the helmet was already cracked, which gave her a small window of time to fully break the helmet and get rid of Evil Veyle
It's funny how Marni drew the line at controlling Veyle and deceiving her but killing innocent people in chapter 17 was absolutely ok with Marni. So I find it very hard to sympathize for her death.
I should be sleeping

*Mauvier VS Griss*
Griss: _“If it isn’t the traitor. Don’t worry, you’ll see Marni soon.”_
Mauvier: _“How dare you speak her name! I will kill you quickly. You’ll be buried before you feel any pain.”_
*Mauvier VS Veyle*
Veyle: _“Ah! My loyal knight, Mauvier. Aren’t you going to protect me anymore?”_
Mauvier: _“My time with the Four Hounds is behind me. I will not protect you.”_
Veyle: _“Same as ever, Mauvier. You won’t acknowledge me. You won’t even say my name. Well, don’t worry. I haven’t forgotten your reward. How about a swift death?”_
Mauvier: _“I will sacrifice anything-everything- to save Lady Veyle from you. Give me strength, Marni!”_
1:03:03 I wonder if anybody actually did that. Does this game have a Turn limit, like in Three Houses? If not, since this game doesn’t have the durability system for weapons, I can imagine someone nuts enough to grind for a while.
1:19:17 I was wondering why Veyle didn’t even try to remove it! She said it hurt! I could understand if attempting to remove it would reactivate it, but nope!
Do you have any advice for building alfred? I'm trying to get him to work in maddening ;-; Really want him to be a mainstay in the army
Worked out excellent for me with Lyn, and Canter and Lance Power from Sigurd.
