    This is some great information. I had shoulder surgery for my shoulder in 2009, since them I basically did my own therapy and both shoulders feel great I am lucky to have friends who are chiropractor and help me out with my shoulder health. I had a pain that was in my shoulder blade for about 12 years, one of my wrestlers that I was training, father was a chiropractor. He fix my shoulder. Pain never came back.
    He said my shoulder blade was rubbing against my ribcage and this was causing the pain. Now I tell all my wrestlers to go to chiropractor
    I've help wrestlers get back on the mat that had shoulder injuries with strength training along with sending them to chiropractors. Doctors almost always never recommend chiropractor but I know they work.

    I need someone like this to work on me. Every night for the past 3 years when I sleep, both my arms go numb. No matter how I lay. Nerves in my back have been messed up since I was a teenager and I'm 34 now. And the numbness is so intense, I wake up every few hours and have to shake my arms for 15 minutes. From shoulders to tips of fingers.

    • @TheFishFTW

      Hey man. I recommend you go see an osteopath. Im a student myself and it sounds like your nerves could be getting impinged when in your sleeping position. It would really help the practitioner if your signifigant other or a friend took images of your exact sleeping position/positions before going for that visit. The issue could be in your cervical vertebrae foramen(aka holes where the nerves go through) or it could be the scaleni muscles that beau mentioned. It could be many different things but you will only find out if you find a solid osteopath, chiro or OMT physical therapist. But take those pics before you go because there is something about that position that squeezes those nerves and that is in laymans terms NO BUENO. Either way I hope it resolves.

    He seems like a real nice guy, but, I didn’t see a whole lotta change in his abduction. Also, I can see the hammer with trying to push the humerus inferiorly but, it’s a little bit too much force and not as specific when he was using it on the back. As a chiropractor myself, who has been doing it longer than this guy probably has been alive, I think he did a good job with the soft tissues and trying to break up the restrictions and adhesions but, this was only one session it may need multiple sessions. I think the gain that the patient made was adequate for one treatment but it was advertised on here that he fixed it, he did not fix it. I would’ve mentioned that he needs some follow up work. People who put up videos and say they fixed something when they actually didn’t just to get more attention, I don’t really agree with but, I think the guy did a decent job. He was educational and discussed what he was doing with the patient. I understand where he’s coming from since I was a competitive bodybuilder for 40 years. There may be more to this than meets the eye. I would want to see the x-ray and the MRI report to give us more of a picture.

    500 years from now when we've figured out how to heal people instantaneously with Elysium style medical pods, people are going to look back at this kind of treatment like we view 19th century bloodletting. I think sports therapy is really in it's infancy. Lots of things doctors just don't know how to fix now.

    Well, if he "fixed" it with a single treatment, it wasn't frozen shoulder. Lots of people leave these kinds of treatments feeling much better, but by the next day (or in a few hours or less) significant pain and dysfunction usually returns. Neuro inhibition of pain (what an adjustment primarily does) doesn't last that long and can take many treatments to make significant progress (assuming it's not natural history anyway).

      That’s not true. I had frozen shoulder for 2 years and I went for different treatments and had no results. I went for one treatment with a massage therapist who specializes in frozen shoulder and super deep massage therapy and she got my shoulder moving by 90% in one treatment. The other 10% came back after a couple of more treatments. Her treatments hurt but one treatment and like I said my arm could finally move.

    • @bigt9905
      @bigt9905 4 года назад +4

      @@chriscanada3809 Well, since frozen shoulder can take 1-2 years to go away on it's own (and it typically does), I'd guess you were at the tail end of it. That's when conservative treatment can have more dramatic effects.
