who else didn't search for this but ended up watching most of it
Most of it?!?? I watched all of it.
You either watch all or none at all. NO HALF ASSING😂😂
😂😂😂😂
Me lol
The full 23mins bro
Hey respect from one addict to another for staying healthy and open about our pasts. I'm almost 4 years sober.
Amen 🙏🏻 so Happy for you !
Thats actually really cool. Thats got to be one of the hardest things humans can do. I wonder if thats why you’re no longer human.
I am at day 6 now. Ruined my 55 clean days.. good fighting Guys, keep it comming.
Don't do drugs, kids
Congratulations bro!
This frozen shoulder happened to me and lasted for almost a year. I went to a chiro that specialized in it and in one session I was able to move again like it never happens. I just bawled. So thankful for anyone that works on it.
Doctors/physiotherapist couldn’t help?
@@985476246845 Doctors hardly ever help lol, their business is keeping you coming in.
@@bopa3933 Frozen shoulder is tricky, it can take up to 2 years to run its course and a lot of times there's nothing you can do. Mobilizing it doesn't always work long term.
@@socalkook370 it (that is, true adhesive capsulitis) also has a (reasonably) high rate of recurrence in both the same and opposite limb which makes it even trickier (and suckier).
@@985476246845 why would they? they will just refer you to a surgeon for a fat commission.
This is what happens when you love what you do. You can even see how he treats his patients. You’re amazing Chris.
Dr. Beau Hightower is such a beast, he doesn't even look small next to elite strength athletes! The guy who brings relief to the biggest, strongest men and women.
Because he’s not small
Haha yeah, he is over 6ft tall so....
He is yummy
I think MY shoulders feel better after watching that.
🥰🥰🥰
It's the opposite for me. I'm now acutely aware of how stiff my neck and shoulders are.
I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE! Great watching the breakdown and rebuild
boys what’s the status eh
Would this help with damage caused from a badly healed collar bone. I could show u my x rays thatd make u whence. But all of the pain I live with in my left shoulder and the shoulder blade are just torture.
Lex!!! 😃

Oh you got it done alright
The Three Stooges were way ahead of their time hitting each other with hammers. I need this done yesterday. Surfing injury.
Nice Shield Hero reference
loved the 3 stooges lol

This made me laugh for 5 minutes straight
How do you get injured surfing?
I absolutely loved how in depth you went in explaining the issues, what you were working on, and how the body should be functioning
13:05 the dudes finger is massed up
double jointed in that one finger i think. but looks gnarly.... his fingers are some of the strongest i have ever seen, the amount of pressure he creates is just insane

Back in the day when I was into powerlifting
I used to get worked like this every payday. Afterwards I'd get a massage and I felt fantastic and was strong. The guy moved out of state and my impingements started adding up, then the injuries and surgeries. I'd like this guy to get all my issues resolved as my body is jacked....
I find that hanging from a pull-up bar for about 40 seconds once a day really helps my shoulder issues.
Joe Rogan had a guest where they talked about that. I've been doing the same lately and it opens up a lot.
Dead hang? Or is there a slight bend in the elbow? I need to try this as well
Yup. Used to dead hang for about 30-45 seconds after heavy deads and squats. Feels great
@@nothingtoitbuttodoit it can also decompress some parts of the spine. Just need to really relax your muscles so they don't prevent the vertebra from decompressing.
Dead danging from the bar everyday/every other day for a minute or 2 has helped alot with my left shoulder as well
Watching this is actually making my body feel better
Awesome! This is the third time I have had a frozen shoulder. I wish I had this video before! I am using my arm and shoulder better than ever ! Thank you !
I love that he respected his patient enough to talk to him using the proper terminology. That and I love he was able to help this man after 7 odd others couldn't.
This is amazing. I have the same energy in both shoulders. I definitely need this. I been doing my own work. I met with an Independent Medical Examiner and they could not believe I had more ROM with my slap lesion/frozen shoulder injury. But I really appreciate you.
Who else started digging around in their armpit?
But now my serratus feel amazing! 😍😂😂😂
Me lol

😂😂
@Austin lmfao
This dude has me feelin all over my body like "oh shit, is dis my humerus?"
Thanks for showing this! It was super informative without being too medical in terms and jargon.
Doc, I have a similar problem to you with my one shoulder. And thanks for the small lesson in what I can do to help keep it strong and functioning.
Okay what a genius. Thanks for bringing people as talented as this guy on here. Way to utilize the internet in a positive way! Also Mark Bell lookin crazy jacked especially at 15:45. Benchin like crazy!
So informative! Thank you for making these videos!
Dr hightower is the real deal guys helped so many people I wish all docs and chiros were even half as knowledgeable as him.
A decent enlightening post that you have shared and appreciate your work for sharing the data. I value your endeavors and all the best. Praise your work and continue sharing your data.
This dude's the best. I watch all his videos til the end.
Mark, always the Power Lifter at heart: "Can anything be done about the Tendon? (Beau gives medical options) ".....what about just working it out?"
Chris's face when he said "I'd dry needle you but it's illegal" 😂
😂
Lol! It’s illegal in California but he could go another state but yeah I was like what is that
He was like dry needle me pleeeeeaaase
Bell brothers got injury’s like this and still throwing heavy ass shit around that’s why they’re the best
I’m in chiropractor school right now which is no easy feat (8) years schooling I would kill to adjust the bell brothers! He keeps his composure so well but I know he is kicking and screaming of joy!
8 years for Chiropractic Medicine?
My man’s face on 17:38 😂😂 “self release, hey ohh” 💀 dead
This video makes me appreciate and cherish my shoulder mobility.
I really wish this is how dr beau shot all of his videos, especially the audio.
Dang I need this guy. He can’t give me too much more pain than I already deal with. I can no longer sleep on my sides. I workout by weight lifting every other day, but I could use some mallet.
I am very very impressive with your knowledge and expertise. I wished you were practising here in the UK. Myself and my wife are your number 1 fans and we would be your patients.
This is some great information. I had shoulder surgery for my shoulder in 2009, since them I basically did my own therapy and both shoulders feel great I am lucky to have friends who are chiropractor and help me out with my shoulder health. I had a pain that was in my shoulder blade for about 12 years, one of my wrestlers that I was training, father was a chiropractor. He fix my shoulder. Pain never came back.
He said my shoulder blade was rubbing against my ribcage and this was causing the pain. Now I tell all my wrestlers to go to chiropractor
I've help wrestlers get back on the mat that had shoulder injuries with strength training along with sending them to chiropractors. Doctors almost always never recommend chiropractor but I know they work.
this guy seems like he REALLY knows what he is doing. PT saved me, once. I could not believe i actually worked. Couldn't sleep, couldn't move my arm, shoulder and neck felt like i'd done some horrible damage. PT Frankie fixed me, with rather easy exercises and body work. BLEW MY MIND.
Docs arms are huge!! 💪
That guy mouthing "WTF" at the camera killed me!
He looked in aww! That was funny
I almost cried from laughter.
The Bell's are a great american family. I miss their oldest brother Mike too. Keep putting out great documentaries please.
this man is an expert. i know what you are talking about exactly.. my shoulders are usualy weak when atrophied.. soon as i start working out for a couple of days it becomes normal. otherwise i feel soo weak and nervous while stretching arms in Y
I went to Dr Beau a while back and he fixed me once and for all, but dude... so painful! Ha! Witch doctor!
I suffered a right adhesive capsulitis last year in the peak of the pandemic. I just completed a volleyball tournament around February that time then my shoulder suddenly hurt around April.
I was afraid to go out so I just stick with it and waited until the thawing stage which took me 7 months since day 1 to fully recover.
Dr. Beau is a straight-up master blaster. It's fascinating to watch him work and explain things. He saved my old , rickety ass !
incredibly knowledgeable chiropractor dude, amazing!
Just give him the god dammed can of spinach already
😂 marks a great guy. does carnivore diet! he was on Rogan
What if this man is giving them the biggest placebo in the world
Dang that guy is chiselled…literally!
Why do I feel relieved when i see the dude is in pain, the more pain he gets the more relieved I am. 😂
I don't blame you I enjoy seeing guys in some crazy pain then get relieved. I love pain! 💘
@@brianbenson4761 this is so sick bro
I can totally relate. Like this one time, at band camp. A guy fell and broke his leg. And i felt bad. So I kicked his broken leg. And crazily enough It felt good and the more I kicked his leg the better I felt. Too bad for the guy he had to get some surgery done on his leg.
And there was this other time , in band camp......
Well, if he "fixed" it with a single treatment, it wasn't frozen shoulder. Lots of people leave these kinds of treatments feeling much better, but by the next day (or in a few hours or less) significant pain and dysfunction usually returns. Neuro inhibition of pain (what an adjustment primarily does) doesn't last that long and can take many treatments to make significant progress (assuming it's not natural history anyway).
Shhh, you could hurt this guy's bottom line if this gets out
I love that he wore scrubs too
That’s not true. I had frozen shoulder for 2 years and I went for different treatments and had no results. I went for one treatment with a massage therapist who specializes in frozen shoulder and super deep massage therapy and she got my shoulder moving by 90% in one treatment. The other 10% came back after a couple of more treatments. Her treatments hurt but one treatment and like I said my arm could finally move.
@@chriscanada3809 Well, since frozen shoulder can take 1-2 years to go away on it's own (and it typically does), I'd guess you were at the tail end of it. That's when conservative treatment can have more dramatic effects.
Its always nice seeing people try and sound intelligent
I love the anatomy discussion 💕
Awesome.all american needs this man in their life.he works it all out.beautifull.priceless.
wow, I got the same shit going on. Even had a tricep long head tendon tear on a arm.
Im an not going to lie, that hammering looks pleasant as I am watching this with a shoulder pain :O
You have a piece of dust in your lens or camera sensor or something on the top middle part theres a black transparent dot
This was an awesome video. I have impingement issues myself. The decompression was awesome too! Nice
I'm literally praying to receive treatment from a Doctor this skilled.
In 2001a bad car accident required me to have reconstructive back surgery. I was paralyzed mainly in quadriceps but started walking again in 2002. I still have a lot of pain.
And I literally pray that I will be able to receive treatment from someone as skilled as him. It's very different now that I cannot afford health Insurance. The premiums kept raising over the past few years. From $200-$600/month.
@anonymous pretty much what I did.
He definitely knows his stuff, I'm impressed
That armpit part is no joke. Always the most painful part about a chiropractor appointment for me lol
One of the best on YT
WOWWWWW. that is freaken amazing. No medicine, just straight old school fix. thanks for the video. it is very interesting.
Old school fix? That man still has an impinged shoulder and now maybe damaged connective tissue after his ROM was challenged repeatedly and the problem was never addressed.
@@davidhenry862 really. Do you know this information as a fact?
Camera man be like let's not show the hammer, which is the only interesting thing that's happening lmao
16:30 he really feeling it here😍
The bruising question intrigues me. I'm sure its part of practice but the way you asked was like you were listening for how he responded. Your taking millions of clues and trusting yourself very well. I want to know why you asked it the way you asked it.
Not speaking for the doc but when I ask these kinds of questions it is to get some clues as to the extent/severity of the injury when it happened. There's usually some key things I will be looking for and I will specifically ask.
Yep didn't search for it but watched all of it excellent video
I need someone like this to work on me. Every night for the past 3 years when I sleep, both my arms go numb. No matter how I lay. Nerves in my back have been messed up since I was a teenager and I'm 34 now. And the numbness is so intense, I wake up every few hours and have to shake my arms for 15 minutes. From shoulders to tips of fingers.
Might be a bit late, BUT JUST GO SEE SOMEONE
Hey man. I recommend you go see an osteopath. Im a student myself and it sounds like your nerves could be getting impinged when in your sleeping position. It would really help the practitioner if your signifigant other or a friend took images of your exact sleeping position/positions before going for that visit. The issue could be in your cervical vertebrae foramen(aka holes where the nerves go through) or it could be the scaleni muscles that beau mentioned. It could be many different things but you will only find out if you find a solid osteopath, chiro or OMT physical therapist. But take those pics before you go because there is something about that position that squeezes those nerves and that is in laymans terms NO BUENO. Either way I hope it resolves.
I've torn 2 muscle groups. My left pec major in '02 and my right tri longhead in '16. Both tore in the belly of the muscle, outside the gym. Since these are both pressing muscles, my shoulders are recruited more to compensate for the loss. The front delts get worked more using less weight. The rear are more susceptible to injury.
I've learned a lot from my chiropractor and massage therapist. I have my own sports stim unit that I still use on my injuries, which helps a lot. I've battled shoulder impingements for along time. Rest, stretching, ice, etc. are all good, but those damn "knots" will still be there. I can help other people, but for myself, I've had to invent therapy.
Pressure point has always worked the best for me, but how do I apply a lot of pressure in a small area? Most knots are found around and behind the shoulder blade. I went to Hobby Lobby and got board 12"x 9" board and a pack of Wood Shaker Pegs for under $10. Using the diameter drill bit as the blunt end of the peg, I drilled holes in the board about the same width as in between my shoulder blades. If the holes are correct, the blunt end of the peg should stay in the board. The drill holes all around the holes.
Then, I'd lay my board on the floor with a pillow for my head. Can place some small pillows around pegs so they don't press so hard. Slowly lay back on the pegs. Match the smooth top to your worst pain spot. May take a few times and peg adjustments, but you'll know when you hit it. Be prepared experience tons of endorphins. Stretching and strengthening exercises should be more effective a few times of this. Do visit your therapist and attack the pain with everything.
Who recorded most of this? A dwarf? Why is the camera angle so low?
😂
🤣😂
This got me 😂😂🤣🤣😂
It’s to make the protagonists appear bigger, since it’s a video about fixing ‘big and strong’ people.

Having this guy work on my back is a bucket list for me. Nobody I've seen has been able to help. Chronic pain for almost 10 years.
Don’t waste your money, chiros are con artists.
Strengthen your glutes and hamstrings with resistance and stretch the hell out of them and also work on your plank stretch and pray.
Hope it gets better ...
Wish I could consult him in Holland. Great video
Just listening to you talk on the subject educates me i definitely want to continue to expand my knowledge any recommendations?
When I watch these videos I end up making the same pain face ad the patients do.
.
At least that's what my daughter's told me, though.
Maybe the trick is to apply more pain than he’s in that way when it’s all done he feels better
Use your fcking brain before you comment.
How can you heal pain by apply more on it?

This Chiropractor is so smart learning. Lot!!!!
Wow! Took 2 guys to pop his back, thank goodness for these awesome doctors to manipulate his spinal column and shoulder joints without any medication or surgery.
this is literally what i have been working towards in my manipulations of muscle tissue and this is why i want to push to become a chiro of this magnitude. Does Doctor Hightower take apprentices lol been at this for 6 years and would love to grow more under a mentor like him for sure!
You should push yo become a physical therapist. You know someone that doesn't scam people to make them feel better. Chiro was founded by someone who is quoted saying it is a scam. And he never had any medical training. So why you want to follow in the footsteps of a known con-artist the didnt even know the names of the muscles he was "manipulating" is beyond me.
InZayne I don’t get why just because the founder said it was a scam makes it irrelevant as a field. Haven’t “certified” doctors been bloodletting for thousands of years and drowning people in heroine, cocaine, and meth for a couple hundred?
@@InZayne licensed medical professionals used to perform Lobotomys , and a doctor created that procedure

I had friends shoulder a few weeks ago literally out of the blue. I used to lift pretty regularly, and then I stopped going to the gym for like 6 months. I woke up one day and slowly I couldn't move my arm or shoulder at all, by the next day it was sooooo painful. Tbh I was so scared that something ripped. I respect chiropractors sooo effing much, i wish I could go back and studied to become one. Oh well...
I've been in pain with my shoulder just like this for a month and I got fed up and put a rubber ball on my shoulder and took a mallet to it , fixed my shoulder like 65 %, like holly crap. I cant believe it.
