I was 19 when I discovered Pearl Jam (way back in the early 90s) and they blew me away! Special time in my life and been growing up with them! They will always have a special place in my heart!
this trailer, this song and especially this band give me lots of hope for life and to believe in myself that I can get out of this shithole called depression. thank you, pearl jam
Music is the great healer. Let it was over you. You are worthy of happiness. Love to you my friend! May you find the peace your searching for! And... Pearl Jam rocks.
Hells yeh @ellielovesbands - you got this friend... I first encountered blueness as a 14 yo in 93 after my freshmen hs gf broke up with me to be with a 'faster' boy - a junior smh... listened to a ton of Jimi Hendrix in the blue period, then to get out of that - listened to PJ Ten every day after school freshmen and sophomore year - such a revitalizing album
Oh, I can hardly waaaaaait!!! Cameron Crowe is a genius when it comes to capturing the essence of music and the power of a band. I think this is gonna be great!
I've been a diehard fan from.day one even going back to mother love bone days. Quite literally the soundtrack of my journey in life. It's the only music I listen to during my 29 mile commute Ventura to Santa Barbara on my 59 Harley😁. No better feeling weaving in and out of traffic with pearl jam blasting at my ear drums feeling my bike vibrating as I cruise the 101 at a nice 75 mph , it's pure freedom! I recently retired but still cruise the 101 with my favorite band. Enough said, shit, I'm going surfing 😁👍. Here's to the next decade pearl jam, 3 behind you and I'm still here too!
@saviolap like a mary dude, you are not alone....i became a musician for these guys almost 17 years ago....like many other people i think. Thank you PJ.
David Lynch made surrealist, dream-like movies, he's the one asking Eddie the question at the start. He made The Elephant Man, Mullholland Drive, Eraserhead.
Thanks for all the love you've infused into the world Pearl Jam. You've been a sympathetic and stern ally to those of us who have needed our asses kicked on occasion for being self-pitying, spoiled assholes. Much love back to you!
On my second play of the trailer, I can hear the Led Zeppelin influence. Going to California--Misty Morning, etc. I want to add that Pearl Jam is greater in that LZ made listening an exercise, kind of a chore. Listening to Pearl Jam is a wonder to behold, it is a feeling of euphoria, it is a feeling of first love.
@Uzerc " That guy" that you said is actually David Lynch, the director of movies like Twin peaks, mulholland drive and lost highway, among others, personal references to Vedder´s lyrics!
Cameron Crowe has made some of my favorite movies - Almost Famous, Singles, Jerry Maguire, and Elizabethtown. He didn't disappoint with Pearl Jam Twenty.
Grunge was revived on that 21st September night inside the XXI Epicentrum Cinema and It was awesome enough to make me cry.. lol who am i kidding i'm 19, come to Indonesia Pearl Jaaaaam we've been waiting for u guys since forever xD
I like the documentary Pearl Jam Twenty, but I feel the documentary talked more about the infighting and commercialism of Pearl Jam rather than the music.
The Cars were another American rock band that stayed together even after one band member passed ( one of the singers ) then finally had to stop after the other main singer passed. I'm drawing a serious blank right now. You all know who I'm trying to recall.
I hope there's footage from their time here in my country, Argentina. I encourage you all to listen to them playing Black at Buenos Aires, Argentina. One of the best moments in my life. Actually, listen to the whole bootleg, both of them!
The greatest thing about Pearl Jam is they haven't exploited or rammed American culture of beliefs down our throats, they have respected each and every country and it's culture regardless of where they have been. They see that each culture is as important as the next and never thought that American Culture is more important that any of the others! They are a world rock band....
Does anyone realize how much Vevo failed in posting this video? Description says "Music video by Pearl Jam performing Pearl Jam Twenty (Trailer). (C) 2011 Monkeywrench, Inc." Anyway, I totally love Pearl Jam and to finally know more about Pearl Jam, makes me one happy 18 year old
can't wait ... pearl jam must have the most loyal fans ... I remember copping shit at high school because I preferred pearl jam over nirvana ... don't get me wrong nirvana were good but dude this is PEARL JAM
I watched this documentary. But I saw their disregard for the first drummer. I'm disappointed. "Even if you didn't like him, the first and second albums was possible because him." The memories of listeners are different from those of musicians. They were still only teenager hipsters who didn't become adults.
@Firewoman888 "Listening to Pearl Jam is a wonder to behold, it is a feeling of euphoria, it is a feeling of first love" the best description I've ever read about that warm feeling
Watched it yesterday in Amsterdam, it was truly incredible. Does anyone know wheter they are going to release the movie on dvd?? I'd love to watch it over and over and over :)

Filme perfeito. Obrigada por existirem Pearl Jam.

Mike A stay strong and safe, man!
Music is the great healer. Let it was over you. You are worthy of happiness. Love to you my friend! May you find the peace your searching for! And... Pearl Jam rocks.
Same my friend, same. Hope you’re on the sweet side of success. 🙏🏼🤞🏼
4 Years later - Hope you doing fine? All the best

Keep on Rock'in in the Free World!!! Thank you Pearl Jam for giving so much back to your fans!
the best part of the clip, Eddie grabbing his thoughts to answer Lynch's questriion, amazing 2-3 seconds

Oh man. I'm SO excited about this!!!
Grunge was revived on that 21st September night inside the XXI Epicentrum Cinema and It was awesome enough to make me cry.. lol who am i kidding i'm 19, come to Indonesia Pearl Jaaaaam we've been waiting for u guys since forever xD
