- If this beautiful piece of kit will be available depends only on You!
First step is to answer the POLL on YT page, so we can understand if there is a real interest and on which materials and price points.
After collecting all Your replies, I will scout suppliers and then get back with details of real possibilities.
This intake system airbox kit has been developed with motorsports in mind: we believe, thanks to our testing, that is outperforms all other solutions.
We saw a 16 bhp power gain in back to back dyno testing at famous tuner BONETTO's rolling road.
Very easy to install and maintain, including Toyota servicing, this airbox can be coupled with turbo intake tracts for hybrid or full frame turbo kits, depending on what you will be running.

I like the idea of using the OE filter. Maximzing the air flow without sacrificing the filtering function👍
Yes mate, thankyou!
Looks a very well engineered product, like how you have got it to work around the stock/drop in panel filter too 👍
Thankyou mate, please vote the Poll on my YT Channel page! Am trying to bring it out, but need to see some numbers!
This is an elegant solution.
Thankyou mate!!
You're welcome. I think Eventuri is about 1500 EUR with taxes. Supposing that you offer at least the same quality and performance at a competitive/lower price you will be fine. They have established themselves though, plus they advertise effectively. Difficult task worth taking.
Perfect solution, well done, Adriano! I would like to do the same on my Yaris, if it ever arrives....
Thankyou, and I hope it arrives soon!
100% would buy this for the GR Corolla. Why is Italy so far from Texas USA? LOL
keep up the amazing products AJ! You are a passionate GR owner just like myself.
Thankyou mate, let’s see if we can make it compatible!
If that product was available at let’s say $500 AUD in plastic I would definitely buy one. I like the fact it’s using the original panel filter.
We will try mate, pleaee vote the poll too
Recorded graphs of the before and after IATs would be a nice seller point for this intake
We will do it all!
Looks interesting 🤔
Cheers, please vote and share the poll, because I will be basing the decision on the number of votes!
the snorklie!!!
😂😂😂😂🤌🏻😂😂😂😂
Molto interessante, per la mia opterei nella versione in plastica, rivestito di nastro riflettente. attendo i costi
Perfetto, grazie! Per cortesia vota anche il sondaggio nella pagina del canale!
Just some thoughts, are you not afraid of the lower quality of filtration vs OEM if you use aftermarket "performance" filters like BMC? what about water getting in through that cut hole in the front grille? The stock airbox has foam on top of inlet to stop water ingress.
Cotton filter is universally used and the filtration quality is perfect. Water just vaporises and lowers the charge air temperatures even more. I have been testing this on my car for over two years.
Apart from more maintenance than stock unit, no problems at all!
Ok merci !
Ça ne fragilise pas la pièce ?
Tu as fait les deux côtés ?
Plastic version please, voted too. Plastic as I don’t drive round with the bonnet up. I don’t like bling as I drive round the Ring 😉
Cheers mate, makes a lot of sense!
I would like to have one!
Thankyou, please vote the poll, I will take the numbers from there!
Hello mate, wondering what your thoughts were on turbo elbows? I’ve just installed an MST and it feels nice, wondered if you had any experience with them long term
Hello mate, I have the Forge elbow installed, it no big feedback on these: I believe they have a larger impact on hybrid turbos, where they help match the compressor’s ported inlet
Interested in plastic 450e version. Have voted.
Thankyou mate, hope it will be possible to produce!
How it sounds? :-) But it looks functional and i love it :-)
It sounds better than stock but not intrusive: mostly you hear a swoosh upon gas liftoff
I can't find the clip now but I think I remember you saying that OEM air boxes have an advantage of better heat insulation vs most aftermarket intakes, so I wanted to ask how the heat soak would be with your new intake?
Apologies if I'm remembering wrong and you never said that.
Not a problem mate, I was referring to open filter boxes. Out airbox is fully enclosed, so the best possible condition in regards to heatsoak
I note you are using a BMC filter, is the OE Toyota paper filter compatible? Want stock filtration and ease of replacement.
Kr
Henry
Yes, its totally compatible: we designed it on the OE filter
Looks nice. I would prefer matt carbon. The main thing is, is it making HP. I think you said 15 HP right? Please confirm.
16hp on a stock car with Dtuk at that time, yes
In 3 Years i found 3 Intakesystems i like. Eventuri, scara 73 and yours AJ. @@AJClubsport. But German TÜV Gutachten, i got only with the eventuri😢
@holgerstoll4682 yes, this is a very good point, will think of making it TUV compliant
@@AJClubsport You mean it makes 16 HP but with using a DTUK at the same time. If so I would like to know if it makes any HP on stock car with nothing else on the car. No DTUK or anything. Love your articles by the way
@@lukasvr5088 I mean exactly that, with a DTUK installed (same map), switching from the OEM Airbox to this one makes 16-17bhp more, yes
I’m in NZ and would be interest in one
Thankyou Wayne! Please send and email with your contacts to adriano.piras1@gmail.com and I will put you on my list, as I have found a way to make them in plastic
Im interested in plastic version.
Thankyou, please vote the poll too, its on my channel page!
If there wouldn’t be the TÜV in Germany, I would be very interested….
If we actually make it, we could decide to make it TUV compliant. Thankyou and please vote the poll
Ok - I will ! 👍👍@@AJClubsport
Plastic would be ok for me.
Thankyou!
@@AJClubsport with TUV i buy one on day 1 , hands down! There is nearly no alternative here in germany with TUV apart from Eventuri , but you would be cheaper i guess. With the arrival of the Gen2, a lot of potential customers :D
I would like it for 2024 model
It is compatible!
Could i purchase the 3D CAD Drawing for the airbox intake?
No mate, that is all there is to it, sorry!
I'm in the US, and if this fits the GR Corolla as well, I would be interested in getting a version of this made from plastics.
We will have the GRC fitment as soon as we come to market, thankyou! Please send me an email for waiting list at adriano.piras1@gmail.com
@@AJClubsport My GRC is stock and I live in a very strict area per smog compliance. The stock setup has the amazing flappy door as a secondary air inlet port. I don't recall seeing any that would facilitate that on the intake you've shown. Did I miss it or is this something that is not required in your country?
We all have it, its made to increase air intake after a certain power draw. Nothing to do with emissions and is not needed on the aftermarket intake, as it already delivers much more flow!
@@AJClubsport I live in California will requires that any/all parts that were present from the factory must be present at the time that a smog test is performed (every 2nd year). The only exception is if the part (intake or exhaust) has a CARB EO sticker, which means that the company paid CARB (California Air Resource Board) to test and validate that the part has no negative impact on emissions.
There is also the matter of without the flappy door, will that throw a CEL code?
No, it doesn’t throw a CEL!
MST intake has much better sound and uniform air flow, combined with their turbo inlet pipe you get much faster engine response and that sweet turbo noise
I like the MST intake, but I ask myself: how can you judge the sound by looking at it only?
@@AJClubsport I have one on my GR, and it’s worth it, if you are curious check out Tegiwa’s intake test: m.ruclips.net/video/xKLYaR_8rPs/видео.html
Will this go into production. I want one please
Thankyou Craig, working on it, plastic version!
Is this part going to get made I’m super interested
@craigola123 thankyou! Yes, it will be made
@@AJClubsport awesome news. Can’t wait
How does it sound 😅
It sounds beautifully!
Carbon is cool and all, but I would rather pay less for a plastic one that works just as well and put the extra money into another item or items!
Thankyou for the feedback, and please make sure to vote and share the poll on my channel page!
@@AJClubsport I don't even own the car (yet), but I would agree that plastic would be preferable. Pretty sure the reason for carbon is mostly bling, or for those very, very serious about the weight.
Thankyou for your feedback! Please remember to vote the Poll on the channel page!
Plastik for me👍
Noted! Hope you voted the poll too mate
I think there is a big problem with your kit and that’s heavy rain and fast driving on the autobahn! The OEM snorkel was so designed by the GR Team that there will be be no problem with water getting to the air box and so not getting to the air filter. But your solution will suck in all the water by a heavy rain and could damage the engine!
Actually, just like in the Eventuri, when water is sucket it lowers the intake temperatures. Sucking rain water is very different from flooding it in a river!
I have had this intake on my car for over two years now, and I can say its faster under the rain, like a free snow performance kit!
Of course, you do need to wash your air filter at least once a year, especially mid winter
plastic version🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thankyou, please vote the poll too, on channel page
