Damn man, Goleby's makes EVERYTHING, don't they?
Sell, they sell everything, they make like 4 parts
f'n tease!!! I was half expecting a dyno run at the end then remembered it was a 6min video
Guessing dyno and track results soon???
Cool to see local development pump out actual bolt on parts so quick
Much more of a supporting mod than a power mod, I suppose the only quantifiable gains are the decreased intake temps, which they reported in the video.
Sydney is in lockdown. Coudlnt take to dyno yet
@@MotiveVideo ha doiiiii *slaps head* I'm in the same lockdown lol
@@MrLincoln87 ive been in lockdown for a year and a half......
This video was perfect for me as i have no interest in what gains an intercooler will bring.. i just want to see someone fit car parts and then tell me how well it fit.
Great job, if you could get someone to open and close the glove box and then have them describe the experience i'd really enjoy that!!
Sydney is un lockdown
Cant go to dyno
And Day Job is about installation
Motive Garage is about testing
but hey, you’re really smart. you already knew all this.
@@MotiveVideo You guys are doing great i love the content and cant wait to see how things progress!
In the mean time i will continue to get drunk and chat shit 🍺🍺
Did I see it right - you still did not install the brake cooling intake from the High Performance GR Yaris? For fast times on track you should do that!
The difference between your car and a stock model is going to be huge when you’re done, if not already. Must be awesome to drive.
Everytime you put out a Yaris vid I spend more of my kids money. 😎
When are you gonna upgrade the early 2000 hairstyle my man haha
Bruh
😂😂😂😂😂
Haha
90s JDM cars
90s haircut
plus hairdressers are closed during lockdown here
Did you consider an intercooler water sprayer kit like it is part of the standard equipment in Japan? (I'm not sure, if it's standard in Japan only, but on other markets too).
I'm pretty disappointed the water sprayer kit is not coming as part of the high-performance-package in Germany (as for the front strut-bar.....). So, 2 things to equip later on.
That plasmaman is THICK son!! Lol
THICCC
Sometimes in life girth is more important than length...
Very nice lover the update and development
Great work👍🏻
I have had an Airtec Intercooler on my dining room table for the last 4 months because I cant be asked to tackle the booby traps which await removing the front bumper on my MINI. I bet the most of this time on this fitment was getting the front bumper off.
Weve done it 5 times or more now. Takes 15minutes
No dyno run?
Its coming. Sydney went into lockdown
Before and After results?
Theyre coming
Where are plazmaman cores made?
Good on you golebys good work motive
can you tell me how you made your hood?
like a link or something im looking for something similar like a bomber style hood design, can you give me some ideas?
They show it in an earlier episode mate
Older episode.
Wouldn't a water sprayer on the intercooler work just as well?
cant use water sprayer at the drags as it drips on the ground. But, why not have both ?
Nice video,great staff
Still,this guy is weitd
Putting screws and spanners.on his mouth?
What is wrong with it?
Seriusly
It has to be recalibrated because the MAP housing changed. We'll probably see a bigger turbo, not a before and after. The main concern was heat soak and support future mods, not gains.
What? people having fitted these to stick cars with no recalibration and had better intake air temps and made more consistent power.
Well dyno ours after lockdown
@@MotiveVideo I feel we've said similar things. No heat soak = more consistent power and better air intake temps. People are asking for before and after, which is fine, I don't think it'll show huge gains. Consistency looks like it's been a struggle on this platform (on the dyno), that's where the intercooler shines for now. The assumption about the MAP housing being a different size was incorrect.
@@fluffiestspoon I think you mean MAF, not MAP
@@fluffiestspoon We will show the results. Sydney is in lockdown right now so cant go to powertune
Stay safe, can't wait to see the results. The original comment was in context of others asking about results, and no way was intended to undermine your knowledge or process of development.
@Joel I do. First one was autocorrect, 2nd time I just rewrote what was there not paying any attention.
the over heating is real, the official factory GR Yaris burned down in an Asia Tournament in Japan at Fuji GT
i am using a 2015 WRX STI oem Top mount intercooler, have you considered one?
Only you would bother going from oem to oem.
Angry American noises intensify
At least when the americans get them they'll have a whole list of aftermarket parts tried and tested to choose from
@@laser1787 If we get it at all :(
Hey same. But lordy we got us some Camrys, I tell you hwut
Your mechanic needs a pay rise.
$1700 AUD intercooler
quality cost money
I had them make me a custom 400ish by 600ish one a few years back. Was only $700. They make awsome products but it's not like it's a one off, they'll be punching those out and selling 100's of them and I just don't see $1700 there.
@@Gooie69 i could see 1100 or so, not 1700
