    Don’t use the brass fittings. They corrode and explode after only a few years. I’ve only ever seen it happen on the hot lines though, not cold.

      @@jpmacoo He said they corrode and explode. That would be a mechanical failure. They don’t have explosives in them, and brass fittings would not be the only fittings to explode if frozen. It’s kinda the only thing that makes any sense

      Yeah, I didn't really think that. 😶
      Not sure why these brass fittings would have more issues than other brass fittings, though. Sucks, since I thought they'd be more durable than plastic, and they're also more expensive

      Its teflon tape and not uncommon to be used by professional at least here in sweden from what I have seen now those plastic tubes whit just metal clamps holding them in place feels sketch to me

    Learned the hard way that mice can and will chew through pex. I'll stick with copper and it's naturally occurring antifungal properties.
