Your reaction to Chel was expected, delivered, and more hilarious than expected. That scene with her and Tulio, wooo as a kid you don't realize where her head is but as an adult its like oh she was doing something else.
Cortez-the soldier guy- is based off a real person, not sure how close they got to him in this movie, but real life version was a nasty piece of work.
He can't have been that bad given that when he landed in South America there were several Meso-American tribes who allied with him and his army to take down the Aztecs. Who were oppressing the whole continent at the time with ruthless warfare and human sacrifice, basically an empire of Tzekel-Khans.

@@alexanderb5726In reality he was very smart, he paid attention to the needs that the communities had and that is how he allied himself with them. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. But later it was he who repressed those people by imposing his will, beliefs and way of life, so he ended up doing the same thing. The communities also did not mind the sacrifices, they were part of their lives and they took it as an honor, but of course, they did not want the Mexica to have control of absolutely everything or owe tribute to them.
@@avi9205 He did indeed repress their way of life and beliefs. And based on what I know of Meso-American culture, and I do know quite a bit, that's not a bad thing at all in my book. All cultures are not equal.

Ah yes, every 2000's kids favorite movie, The Road to ChelDorado, fantastic. 😊 And yes, that adult moment/joke went right above me as kid, now I just think about it and wonder: How did they manage to...? Like how? The first decade of 2000's was different, they didn't give fluff about these jokes, they just rolled with it. 🔥

Fantastic movie! When I was a kid, my sister and I memorized pretty much every single line ha ha ha! Now I was an adult re-watching it. Yeah you’re absolutely right there’s a ton of great gems for adults to join as well 😂 The music is awesome, they really outdid themselves! Still a banger and glad to see you guys Enjoyed this movie as well!
Oh! And if you want a comedy movie that is from the 80s but still holds up, “The Three Amigos” is a cult classic! 😂 it has Chevy Chase, Steve Martin and Martin Short!
