He can't have been that bad given that when he landed in South America there were several Meso-American tribes who allied with him and his army to take down the Aztecs. Who were oppressing the whole continent at the time with ruthless warfare and human sacrifice, basically an empire of Tzekel-Khans.

But later it was he who repressed those people by imposing his will, beliefs and way of life, so he ended up doing the same thing. The communities also did not mind the sacrifices, they were part of their lives and they took it as an honor, but of course, they did not want the Mexica to have control of absolutely everything or owe tribute to them.

Yeah you’re absolutely right there’s a ton of great gems for adults to join as well 😂 The music is awesome, they really outdid themselves! And if you want a comedy movie that is from the 80s but still holds up, “The Three Amigos” is a cult classic! 😂 it has Chevy Chase, Steve Martin and Martin Short!
It definitely is. It’s a classic. I always remember watching this movie on weekends after the school week was over and watched it twice while I was recovering from surgery I had it sure helped keep my mind off the surgery that’s for sure. This movie brings back great memories.
