The birth of a white dwarf, neutron star, or black hole is the result of the death of a star. The process begins when a star exhausts its fuel and can no longer sustain nuclear fusion in its core. This leads to the collapse of the core, and the outer layers of the star are expelled in an explosive event known as a supernova.
If the core of the star is less than 1.4 times the mass of the sun, it will become a white dwarf.
If the core of the star is between 1.4 and 3 times the mass of the sun, it will become a neutron star.
If the core of the star is greater than 3 times the mass of the sun, it will become a black hole.

@@iamfromspace6347 space is truly never empty instead there are random fluctuations happening where particles and antiparticles come into existence and annihilate each other but when this happens at the edge of a black hole one falls in the black hole and the other one escapes and becomes a real particle ,now energy can truly never be created or destroyed it must come from somewhere,so one particle or one antiparticle that escapes the black hole steals it's mass,so the slowly loses mass this is called hawking radiation this happens until all of the mass of the black hole is gone leaving behind just a bit of radiation.
