also it seems that enough time passed for mountains to form in background, or the clouds have settled down since and they can be seen now

Lemme just say a little something…
THAT ECHO ROOM WAS FRICKEN AWESOME! The color palette! The clouds which have lowered since there is no steam to support them. The mountains in the background. Oh yeah, AND FIVE PEBBLES COLLAPSED SUPERSTRUCTURE!!!!! It was so amazing, and it made me so happy… and sad.
Correction sky islands is finished but has collapsed and fallen into pipeyard and are considered one region. Also entering sky Islands from Smokestack treetops will lead to a room which is what is left of the sky islands bridge? And jumping of will lead to a one way multi-screen drop to pipegrave.
Oh I see! That makes a ton of sense actually, I should showcase that in a small video next then!

Suffice it to say that's Spinda Cafe from specifically Explorers of Sky (which added the cafe mechanic) and my guess was 7 I overestimated the lad

I like how you’re playing a mod that takes place after Saint’s campaign, but is using a skin that’s extremely similar to Saint.

Made sure I watched the full video before running to the comment section.
This was a beautiful experience. You could see the leaves or petals falling from the giant tree and you might even forget it's there but just for a moment it's the most beautiful thing you've seen for a long time. The top is still icy, and the underground is still moist. Some things have changed, while some things remained the same. You can see the different variety of creatures, although not in their normal places are still re-entering the world and bouncing back from the ice-age. Absolutely so much detail and I have say, this region for me is the most peaceful and populated region in this mod. (I also think sky island should be called tree tops if trees are present in sky islands)

And that's a normal path to the Gutter, they just made the pipe visible. I like the use of the mushrooms from Undergrowth here, I guess it became an "Overgrowth"
I think during this timeline because of how much rain happened the sun never really got to affect the environment only during the day, but now with the significant rain loss the plants finally got the full extent of the sun causing an insane amount of foilage during the higher parts of hot world

i wonder if other mods like the mast and sunlit trail r gonna add their own post-saint versions, it would be insane to see that, completly overgrown chasing wind supported by trees? hot daym i wanna see that
The entrance to the gutter is actually a secret pipe in the main game!
know this: THERE IS NO RAIN! ITS ALL DAY AND NIGHT CYCLE! DO NOT WORRY ABOUT THE CYCLE TIMER EXCEPT FOR THAT IN INDUSTRIAL, OUTSKIRTS, SUBTERRANEAN, AND LOWER PIPEGRAVE, IT LITERALLY BECOMES SHADED CITADEL (also i had caps lock on oops)
I feel like the echo is so deppressed at this point it just gave up on keeping calm

This mod is overall so pretty! The pipe connections, platforming and hidden tunnels , added to the visuals makes it a majestic region. And im preety sure if u jump in that hole in sky islands u land in pipeyard.
5:07 iirc that's actually a downpour connection that leads through the gutter, not just from this mod. My first time getting to chimney in Survivor was through there, and it's also where I met my first caramel lizard.
These regions are amazing, especially with the leaf effects! Hopefully when the mod is finished I can escape the starter region.
Those leaf effects blew my mind when I first saw them! It looks SO good!
(Also I saw your comment on the previous video but forgot to reply, I actually never got out of the starting region because I only intend on playing the fully finished regions, and I think none of the ones surrounding subterranean are...

@@lolight2 I think you can exit the future subterranean by somehow finding pipegrave, since it connects to what used to be filtration system

See, I love mods like this because it gives me more theories to think about on how the climate works in Rain World. Does this mod mean that the snow stopped and temperatures got warmer? And if so, why? Great job with the video, it’s really a beautiful mod!

16:08 PEBBLES’ COLLAPSED STRUCTURE IN THE BACKGROUND THO, also the level of the clouds seems lower, because im pretty sure the above clouds view isn’t visible in that room, i guess thats because of no more iterators left to mess with the atmosphere
Probably my favorite region of the mod.

RecTropy has been such an interesting mod! I definitely love this region for its abundance of foliage and the cool foreground particles, and the colors are soo cool
It's a very pretty region honestly! The snow on the higher sections of the place is really cool!

The region is absolutely gorgeous... but that Echo dialog doesn't quite make sense, which I find a little off-putting, though that doesn't take away from the rest of the effort being put into this mod.
Gutter normally was a secret entrance but seemingly not in the mod also they skipped a few rooms

my only question for this mod is as to why there is a rain timer when canonically the only reason the heavy rains exist is because of the steam output of iterators? i could see a day/night cycle being implemented instead of the rains but having heavy rain in this world-state doesn’t really make the most sense
I believe other commenters have mentioned in the past that apparently there is actually no rain, but I can't confirm since I didn't check myself yet

5:05 somebody else probably already commented this, but this isn’t new! It’s normally a *secret* pipe that connects to The Gutter.
13:04 almost didn’t recognize that as a monster kelp, to my knowledge (maybe there’s one in Gutter or something, I’ve never been there and it fits the water color) there have never been orange monster kelp, only red and green.
Also, I’m sad you didn’t check the Pebbles bridge room… probably would’ve had a good view of Pebbles’s collapsed can in the background
I'll make sure to show those top rooms better in a follow up video, since I need to show off what happens when you go through the sky islands gate too :p
