I can't believe we are getting to the point where we are exploring the regions around whole new iterators, I thought it would take years for this to happen!
And yet here we are!
Some of the early areas are lacking some polish, and the slugcats are pretty bland at the moment, but I can't wait to see where the mod is headed!
The mod might seem unassuming at first, but that is because it is still a work in progress! I definitely recommend you try it out though, it appear to have a lot of content to explore and secrets to find!
Mod is "The Adventurer" by "starshooter81"!
(It has lots of incompatibilities, so make sure you disable most other mods!)

What Pearl cat excels in uniqueness, this mod excels in sheer vastness in the amounts of land and region. And for 8 leaves under golden rain is quite peculiar, they have sealed all of the possible entrances to the can, they seem to be somewhat infected with a type of rot but it’s oddly neon green and the structure itself isn’t super deteriorated and is overall somewhat active
Well it does make sense, There could be variants of the rot because it's like viruses, They mutate so the rot should be able to do so too
@@phonkishfelix Well i guess each iterators are atleast slightly different from one another so i guess it does make sense for it to be entirely different for each structure.
I mean, Five Pebbles has blue holograms & blue rot. Perhaps they have green holograms
@@jessiesowter that's what I was gonna say, They probably do have green holograms but we don't see it in the mod
@@jessiesowter i haven't watched too far so i'm not sure if the iterator you're talking about is the one who's overseer is guiding The Adventurer, but if they are, they seem to have cream-ish colored overseers+holograms
While the size of this mod is impressive, I feel like it has sacrificed quality for quantity. Most of the rooms feel super stripped down and barren compared to the intricate level of detail Rain World usually offers. It just doesn’t feel as alive. It feels closer to the beta builds of the game, more empty and liminal. But it has a ton of potential, and I really love being able to explore a new Iterator, so I hope the creator continues to work on it!
That exactly what I wanted to say about it
We like how they went to the effort of even making a sky bridge area similar to upper Chimney Canopy, remaining consistent with how the cities were connected by bridges, though by modern time those bridges have entered a state of extreme disrepair.
This mod has 493 screens, which while still large, is smaller in 10 regions than Deserted Wastelands is in 1 region (540 screens.) Old New Horizons is also over twice as big, totalling 1,071 screens. Although neither of those came with their own campaigns. Definitely impressive how a mod this big was made in such a short amount of time.
Oh it took all of summer brake. Also I'm sorry about the region lease thing. I originally didn't want to release it but when i thought about it the more I wanted to release it. And changing the acronyms would take a ton of time that I dont have because of school.

This one feels insanely huge for sure, but yeah old new horizons is quite the titan!

when i played this, even with the low quality rooms, i had so much fun looking at the gimmicky content and secrets

This is truly an awesome! Polished mod moment!
A great way to interpret this mod is: the blankness of some of the areas is not of little attention to detail, but rather a lack of wear and tear by time! This iterator seems to be very new! Hence the powerful fog in the background and all of the creatures hiding within the confines of it, it shows that this environment was put through a bit of a shock due to the intense and sudden steam made by the iterator, and that to escape the thick air, the creatures seek refuge within it. The creatures are still adapting to the environment.
I honestly really like that interpretation :)

I like to use the Friend from the Solace mod for wandering since that particular scug moves so quick when crawling or going through pipes.
For me I enjoy the cowboy slugcat since it can recall spears, makes it easier for both combat and climbing places I shouldn't be in :P
So sad that I'm just now discovering so many cool mods on your channel that just don't seem to exist on the workshop anymore.
now would be the perfect time to add the interactor puppet with the new steam mod makes everything easier

I kinda like the visual roughness of this mod, the lack of shadows and particles, I obviously prefer original visuals but it just looks very different and I like it
Same! I don't think it needs a lot more detail, what we have here is really nice already and has its own special vibe :)
I do hope a lot of love and care will be put into a mod like this, right now it seems really rough but I hope to see it shine!

Amazing job with the mod, I have to admit when I saw it release on the workshop it was quite unassuming, but the amount of work you have put into it really shows, keep up the amazing work! :D

@@maplefoxxo I have made another region mod called lavish knack. But after making that I wanted something grander! It took forever and still is. It took me all of summer brake to make the iterator and everything around it. But region modding is the easiest modding type in my opinion. There is no code needed and all you need to do is learn how world and modify files and world files work. But its still not easy.

my theory (spoilers) is that this is likely the iterator that was collapsed in the background of saint's ending cuscene

the community has created several of its own games,DLCs and feature length films,along with countless stories, wether they be fanfics or roleplays.
when Will they stop? well,that is not a question we wish to have to see the awnser for. but it has one,and so we should enjoy while it lasts.
This one almost feels like it is on the way to being its own little expansion of sorts, it's really impressive what the community keeps pumping out!

and about you making a server one day maybe get some help from your friends and put trust worthy people as mods, it's basic but they must be trust worthy and good at that... some are bad and use that role for showoff and ban who ever they don't like even if they didn't break a rule and stuff... so yeah if you are making a server one day just gather some of your friends and tell them to moderate it (lmao)

You doing very well. but as a player I will say: at first, the environment, especially the background, is poorly designed. At second, the light is so monotonous and wooden. And at third, the wall is really copy of pebbles wall. Im think need to add some original parts, like, the moon wall is some different of pebbles.
