1988 Chevy Caprice Wagon Cold Start

October 18, 2020 cold start.

I NEVER see these old box wagons in the part of Ohio where I live but I have a 1986 Buick Lesabre wagon that basically looks like new and people stare at it when I drive it around. I got mine from a classic car lot down south about 8 years ago....

1991 Caprice sedan ..in a very good condition ... recently when applying transmission "D" or "R" engine shut off 🤔 can someone help me to get the reason ,?

There could be an issue with the Fuel intake !

Could be your not keeping the fuel pump at 12 volts. Check power to tank using volt meter. Might have to drop tank if original sending unit.

My 88' caprice wagon had an olds engine and I was told it was because Chevy ran out of engines at the time and just started putting what they had in them which was the Olds engines...
