- This 1988 Caprice Classic Wagon was parked the previous owners garage from 2006 until 2021 when the garage was sold along with the vehicle. The previous owner passed away leaving it untouched since 2006. In todays video, I bring it back to life. Didn't take much but some cleaning and a fresh battery. Thanks for watching.

I have a 1990 sleeping in my garage. Love these cars.
It was a cool car. A guy made me an offer. I couldn't refuse. I had to let it go. I'll pick another one up one of these days
amazing you wild bro please keep it i drive a 1990 caprice wagon daily
Mine was an '84 Brougham, 5k original miles with rare options, father gave it away to scrap yard because "too much time learning mechanics instead of becoming a doctor"
Had a 86 my parents would fold down back seat and we played back there no seat belts required lol
Absolute gem. Never sell that! Ever….
Use the Oval key in the Tailgate lock ..2...raise and lower the rear window!!!
I OWN A 1982 CAPRICE WAGON !! NEVER GIVE HER UP !~!
This randomly popped up on my youtube..and I'm glad it did. New sub here. Keep the rolling iron going brother.
When you get your Caprice up, & running, try out the radio on a rap music station with the bass all the way up, & the treble all the way down, & c what happens. That is what I would do if that were My Caprice. & I would drive around with rap music blasting out of the speakers!
I had a 77 impala wagon for years till the rust ate it
I just bought a 85 Caprice Wagon, same color scheme, Blue on Blue. My plan is to just clean it up, fix what needs fixing, put a good but cheap paint job on it, thinking I'm going to change the exterior color from Blue to a Silver and Pewter 2 tone clean up the steel wheels and just throw a set of vintage Chevrolet logo Baby Moons on it and drive it, I;m not looking for something that's perfect, I just want something that runs goods and looks decent to daily drive but looks legit enough to take to cruise-ins, Cars and Coffee's and local car shows.
Sounds like a sweet ride man!
@@diyspeed Yeah it's all done except the paint and I'm going to do that over Thanksgiving since I won't really need a vehicle since my Parents, Uncle and Brother will be here so IF I need to go anywhere I'll just use one of their cars because they all live in different states, plus I can do a reveal on sunday before they all leave.
Rear window switch is activated by key in tailgate. Also, should be switch near ashtray on front dash.
Yep, there's a control on the front dash near the cigarette lighter.
It's called an ignition lock cylinder!!!
Sometimes I forget to use my words...
@@diyspeed been there done that!!!
For sale?
is it for sale?
Not sure if I'll sell it just yet. Thinking it might be a going to town rig. Thanks for watching
