Last of TRADITIONAL Cadillac luxury and elegance on the GRAND scale. Had 89 Brougham deElegance with plush velvet interior 🏆 and also 93 BROUGHAM. To me the 89 was so superior. 93 lacked quality (especially interior) of 89 and Had issues, including premature rust through of rear wheel wells. 🤮. Wish I had never let the 89 go. So sad to see what Cadillac has become 😢.
I NEVER see these old box wagons in the part of Ohio where I live but I have a 1986 Buick Lesabre wagon that basically looks like new and people stare at it when I drive it around. I got mine from a classic car lot down south about 8 years ago....

My 88' caprice wagon had an olds engine and I was told it was because Chevy ran out of engines at the time and just started putting what they had in them which was the Olds engines...
Where did you find motor mounts for an SBC?
You'd be surprised what you can do with angle iron, square tubing, and a MIG welder.

There could be an issue with the Fuel intake !
Could be your not keeping the fuel pump at 12 volts. Check power to tank using volt meter. Might have to drop tank if original sending unit.

That headunit is very common on those years of Mercedes. It can very easily be put back (by taking it from an ML or something).
Or you know, use it and they'll still buy it because they have essentially no choice with the limited number of models that exist.
