- Going a little over the top seems to be a common theme with this build. After having experience and learned lessons from cutting corners on my S13 it's hard not to do these things while I have the opportunity! LZMFG.com

The first project always looks worst, the more you learn, the better you get at it. He's taking everything he learned with the S13 and doing it to the R32,
The truth is its content, plus his car ends up rad afterwards so why not ?

He said he would treat like a missile car, what he meant is driving carelessly like you would with a missile car. And tbh idk why it surprises you. Adam is like that and won't ever change.
Did that to my GTR last year, used spray can applied undercoating worked just fine. First removed light surface rust, cleaned, a good automotive primer, undercoat and a coat of gloss black paint. Also installed the BC coil overs. Car is also a white 4 door with a R33 GTR vspec conversion and wide body.

Great idea bedliner inner arches and the colour of the powder coat is superb.
I like watching you build new cars. watching you repeatedly fix old cars gets tedious, as i'm sure you dont need to be told. But with new cars, you're excited and you learn things, and thusly you teach us things. The number of things youtubers have taught me about cars leaves me thinking i could give all this project car stuff a good shot. If i had some money, anyway.

I was so sad when I heard he was going to use this car as a beater but now seeing this makes me thrilled. This is probably my favorite car of his. I love it! Keep up the good work!

A cool trick I learned restoring cars is if you spray a flat black first and then hit it with the bedliner it helps hide any spots you missed just a tip
I feel like I’m the only one not complaining about garage talk videos and projects, I mean I see other comments from people who love cars just as much as me but I don’t get why people complain, like you can tell what sort of video it’s going to be from the thumbnail and title, if you don’t want to watch install videos/touch ups like this don’t click it and wait for the next drift video/vlog. Swing with one hand using the hammer holding it where it is widest for a stronger strike when you’ve got loads to hammer it’s much less tiring
Hey Adam LZ you should do LineX for the inside of the wheel wells because you can get it in so many different colors and it's by far one of the best and most protective products.
except he already sprayed it, and the dirt and brake dust will turn any color black anyway.

Should have bought the diy GKTech tension rod brackets that you have to weld on. Also the bed liner is a nice idea but from I heard it adds alot of weight and when its starts to mess up from rocks hitting it or debris on the track it comes off in chunks.

All of a sudden, LZ gets a RB, he goes tommyfyeah spec with the subframes 🤟🏼
3M makes a really nice pressurized reusable paint cup for a spray gun. They aren't too expensive and work really nice.
Also, a little tip when taping up a car, the first 18 inches should be paper, and the rest plastic. This prevents paint from flaking off the plastic and falling into the paint, and dirt particles and stuff are more attracted to plastic. Love the build. Keep up the awesome videos!
When doing under car like that there is a 45 degree elbow for the spray gun that goes under the hopper so you can angle the gun up more.
Adam, you need some SK "g-pro spline drive" ratcheting wrenches. Makes suspension work a breeze.

Skyline front suspension is a million times better than the 240 front suspension the 240 might be simpler but it is far less Superior than the skyline front suspension setup with the wishbone knuckles. You will definitely be thinking yourself for the extra work later down the road
S-Chassis front suspension is better for drifting, it only really becomes an issue when you start running a lot of lock.
The reason people change to S-chassis front suspension isn't because it's easier to work on, it's because you when you start getting a lot of lock the S-chassis stuff works a lot better.

When he bought it and started talking about the whole "drift missile" "dont care", everyone knows adam is just going to fall in love with it and then build it and make it nice, and then he dont whant to break it. You see what happened to the z. "Its going to be a drift missile" and now it is the best car you have. Edit: that sounds negative. I love your content anyway, i dont care what you do to the cars.

before you have anything painted you need to make sure it all fits and works as planned.
I know the chances of you, Adam, reading this is slim to none. You said overkill a few times and I suppose this could just be opinion.. but, you are taking care of something that belongs to you. If any one doesn’t like that then shame on them. You are doing what you want to do and that’s the most important thing.

You should undercoat the whole car front to back I did the same on my FC and It made a big noise reduction and heat reduction but I use a rubberized undercoating go over to my channel and check out so you can get an idea what I look like in the long run

If you would’ve used raptor liner you would’ve been able to get up in he shock towers. Instead on it being on top of the gun it’s on the bottom. That’s all I use
You can't take the build too far, its your car and you should be happy with it, if you follow someone elses build youll be unhappy with it.
It's obviously a bit too late now but why didn't you do what Trevor did use raptor lining paint
