OP #3 better receive a sincere apology from her parents before even entertaining reconnecting with them. They tried to destroy her relationship with her future husband 🤨
Story 1: The age difference isn't that rare. I know a brother and sister who were born the same year but one in January and the other in November. There's a sad history behind skin bleaching, Jamaica especially has an epidemic. (Unrelated) People should try loving themselves first, nothing selfish about that. Bleaching, bbl, Botox... worse thing people can do to themselves. Except for burn victim or abuse victims. There's nothing shameful or selfish about loving yourself. Doing it too much and annoying about it is. Story 2: the title is a bit cruel and misleading. He isn't wrong in his reactions but one should never celebrate another's death regardless of who they are or what they did to you. Karma is a b*tch and she's always lurking.
Judge me if you’d like, but I’ve never been able to understand why celebrating the death of someone who’s been monstrous to you is supposedly fodder for karmic retribution. 1) Karma isn’t real 2) Even if it was, what’s the logic here? Is it just the idea that it’s your burden to act nice and keep the peace no matter how much abuse you go through? Is it the idea that being ‘mean’ is somehow “just as bad” as deliberately putting someone through hell?
A unfortunate tragedy in the first story is the sister is also a victim of the parents. It may of looked like life was perfect for her on the surface, but inside they failed to grow her into a well rounded adult and instead left her a empty narcastic husk that can't do anything on her own and has no regulation over her emotions
For that first story with the bleach for the spa kit, I think she should’ve said that’s very sweet of you, but I think that we should do this together and since you’re older that you can go ahead and show me how to use the bleach and everything moving forward. So then she had to admit to her parents that she couldn’t use it.
Story #1: The logical part of me is telling me that was wrong, but I just can't bring myself to care enough to feel guilty. Ummm... No. That is NOT the logical part of you. That is the doormat part of you.

I'm really shocked by how siblim favoratism is common. As someone from Africa, this is unthinkable & I'm absolutely shaken by how many favoartism stories I've read about. Definitely a cultural thing
S2- nothing wrong with OPs reaction. Do not put out what you are not willing to come against you threefold! 🤷♀️
It's called Karma
Sadly, "Go ahead" is the only correct answer. If they themself are not the number one supporter of their own survival, everything will go downhill. Once you take that from them, they will NEVER improve. And how that you have to take care of two lifes, yours will go downhill two.
I swear I’ve heard the update on story 1 before but not the initial post
The sister is more of a deadbeat than the plumber with plenty of money. Just saying.
I don't know why, but I automatically thought of Mario.
3rd story: Wow, this story is absolutely wild! I can't believe the stepsister would go to such lengths to spread lies like that. It's so frustrating when people can’t just take responsibility for their own mistakes and instead try to ruin others’ relationships and reputations. OP, I hope you stay strong and remember that anyone who truly cares about you will see through her drama. Wishing you all the best in dealing with this craziness!
>she was bailed out immediately
Boy I hope so 😂
Message her "cross the stream for attention, down the river for results"
That mil is Gang Gang for life what a goat
S2, I don't blame this op. What goes around comes around
You couldn't have moved Emma with a tow truck. She had spent years figuring out what she wanted to say to your parents if she ever got the chance and you could not have stopped her. She just decided that hitting her was better than words lol
The fact that the sister threatened to kill herself to get OP to respond means the sister isnt going to do it. Truly suicidal people don't tell anyone if they're actually serious about it.
Telling someone to go kill themselves IS messed up. But telling someone to do something or they will kill themselves is straight up psychotic.
I honestly don't blame OP in story 2 for feeling happy that his "wife" died considering she tried make his life absolute hell
The first OP's in laws have hearts of gold . She's blessed to have gotten such caring people . Now only thing she needs to do is not fuck it up by cheating on her husband (as some stable housewives I know have done ) .
I feel so bad for op in story 1, no one should go through that abuse, but I just want to know why did OP's parents favor her sister more?
Because OP's skin was darker than the rest of her immediate family
S2: As for the baby, why should OP feel bad for it when it's the product of cheating and not HIS so he have no emotional tie to it. And for those who said OP is heartless, it's none of your business like are you the father or the mother to it? Why do you care so much for a yet to be borned human, miscarriage happens all the time and if anything karma did it a favor and saved it from having cheaters as parents maybe one will cheat again and leave it with a shitty childhood.
Op should move back home aswell as take the life insurance. Tell the family her stuff is being dropped off at yours on day x after block her and move on
S1, husband and his family are wonderful and MIL is amazing.
Op sister just want op to comeback because she needs op to take care of her baby story 1
Story 2: why cry over a loss of evil people.
I bet you ten bucks if she ever went back original poster would end up taking care of that kid most of the time and she'd be out partying 5:51
The bleach as a gift isn't telling her to kill herself, it's telling her to lighten her skin to be considered prettier bc skin bleaching is an actual part of a thr black beauty industry
I love first OP and the first story but the story loses writing coherence by the update.
Being the bigger person means not seeking retribution beyond that which the law allows or justice requires.
Ok am i stupid or something why is it always about skin color?
OP #3 better receive a sincere apology from her parents before even entertaining reconnecting with them. They tried to destroy her relationship with her future husband 🤨
"Don't speak ill of the dead"? How about "Don't be an asshole while you're alive"?
Family " how dare you leave when we where mistreating and abuseing you"
“she gained weight and was still as attractive as ever” sorry to break it to you, but it doesn’t work like that
It depends on how big she was before, she may have been skin and bones before.
@@juliearmfield2634 that’s fair, in that case I am incorrect
Feels a little harsh in that last story to keep calling the guy a deadbeat after saying he has a good job and wants to be in the kid's life.
Story 2: OP went full magneto on that incoming nuclear warhead😂
I'm so happy for OP in the second story omg
1) Karma isn’t real
2) Even if it was, what’s the logic here? Is it just the idea that it’s your burden to act nice and keep the peace no matter how much abuse you go through? Is it the idea that being ‘mean’ is somehow “just as bad” as deliberately putting someone through hell?
good to have a good mil story on here
Story 2: get the champagne man🍾🥂🎉🎊
I only feel bad for OP and Christy’s kid. Like not the kid’s fault
Anyone on here not actively saying that telling someone to kill themselves is just as bad as the sister and family.
Me and my sister don't really get along but she would never try to intentionally hurt me.
What does OP mean
Original Poster
S2: op owed his (ex)wife NOTHING. Feeling nothing will pass he'll move on.
Let Sarah have all of them. You don’t need any of the toxicity in your life
What kind of outrageous freakish parents are these people.
Only 32 guests?!?! You call that small?!?!? This is why i fucking loathe weddings.
