When Dad was Wrenching and Bitching the car out .My Grandpa used to tell my Dad " Gene " If it makes you that Mad .walk away from it and go get a coffee or something .Come back with a clear mind ..My Dad would say " I can't walk away from it or it will never get finished !!

Jeep',s have those same kinda lug nuts I carried extras for when they broke.
When i was a kid growing up in the rust belt of Northeast Ohio .Back in the 1970's .I remember My Dad working on those old rust bucket cars that we owned .Oooh lordy .I Guarrentee that every Engineer's ears were Burning ..My Dad used to get pissed off 😮
I learned from the best. My dad was " the old man" from A Christmas Story in real form. And seriously an Oldsmobile Man lol.

Check vent on transmission clogged vent can cause dip stick to push out
It's a brand new trans. Didn't bleed the cooling lines. Cause I'm an idiot sometimes.

This is cool ive owned several gm square body trucks myself including the truck i had in highschool a 74 chevy Cheyenne super c10 long bed 2wd two tone Carmine dark red and frost gloss white in the center and the dark Carmine red on the bottom same as the top of the body.
This one's "Greecian red". Never heard of it till this truck
Do you remember the blue mufflers that looked identical to the Cherry Bombs and the “Orange Peelers” that were loud as hell. I had a 71,Monte Carlo that I couldn’t drive in town despite having the pipes routed all the way to the back bumper.
Walker made a set they just called Economy Glasspacks they were blue. Use to sell them in the parts store I grew up in.
@@IrishOutlawGarageAs I remember, For some reason I am thinking NAPA for where those “Mufflers” were bought from. I had to go around town because the police were always watching me it seemed like. If I did want to chance going into town, I just about had to coast through the downtown area - Literally!!!. Yeah I despise those stupid lug nuts with those covers - They are pure garbage.

I hate the socket chrome cap lug nuts gm runs on their rally styles of steel wheels... And been there done that,i once traded for a 82 Chevy k20 Silverado and it had the different kinds of lug nuts im not counting 4 of them because someone thought to use the factory 88 and up newer gmt400 2500 series socket cap lug nuts on the end of the stud with a stack of washers who the hell thought this was a ingenious idea needs to be shot..lol and the other 3 types were the American racing style long acorn lugnuts, the shank and offset washer s/s cragar style lugnuts, and the outer spline style lugnuts you are supposed to run in the bores of certain older aluminum magnesium wheels like turbine and slots... and the lugnuts were holding on a new set of American racing brand black d window deluxe wheels, and I ended up changing all of the lug nuts and atleast 4 studs,fun,fun,fun, anyway your Cheyenne will be a great truck when you are done..

The proportioning valve ironically was bad on the same 82 Chevy k20 Silverado that had the junk lug nuts lol
Im thinking on my 86 chevy k20 custom deluxe long bed 3/4 ton 4x4, i bought a s for the cross member routing the exhaust pipe from either eBay or Amazon don't remember which believe it was a walker product, and lol I refer to those cherry bomb mufflers as mini glass pack mufflers 8 inch long case, it is what I bought to put back in the exhaust pipe on my 2000 dodge ram 318 magnum V8 to give it a nice idle exhaust note....lol
