The Reindeer are also a double reference, them being the spirits of past, present, and future, as well as a reference unto the Sprites of the Northern Lights from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer based on their collective naming, nigh omnipotence despite saying only one can see the future, one the past, and the other only that of the present, as well as them being able to watch over others without being seen yet still being able to be seen when they decide upon..
Okay, the GI Joe Reference isn't cause of the stupid movie, it's cause Hasbro owns the rights to the Franchise and have owned them for a long time, and it's still a beloved series.

Theory: the production company's contracts with Netflix and other streaming services includes a clause regarding a minimum time between original airing and availability for streaming. This would also explain why the special won't be available on streaming platforms until the end of November... right on schedule for the intended season.

probably my favorite christmas special so far in MLP thank god it didn't include much of the students. As for my guess on why it was posted their probably following the example from stores like walmart and stuff like them that are already filled with the brim with christmas decoration and only a small corner of halloween costumes(at least where i live)

probably my favorite christmas special so far in MLP thank god it didn't include much of the students. As for my guess on why it was posted their probably following the example from stores like walmart and stuff like them that are already filled with the brim with christmas decoration and only a small corner of halloween costumes(at least where i live)
